Main Members
Alphonse LaFleur
Henchmen 21 & 24
- Stats:
-- Martial: 16 (While 24 is mostly useless in a fight, 21 can actually hold his own. For a bit. Though, this is far from his peak. If only there was some way to get him to reach his full potential...)
-- Diplomacy: 14 (While 21 and 24 can be funny, and pleasant to speak to, they're not diplomats.)
-- Stewardship: 15 (While paper work is boring, 21 and 24 could probably do a passable job if your order them to. You are their boss, after all, and they're willing to do most things you order them to do.)
-- Intrigue: 14 (21 and 24 can be sneaky. But, right now, that's pretty much it.)
-- Learning: 13 (While they're both smart, these henchmen are far from geniuses.)
-- Occult: 5 (This world is filled with strange and spooky thing. But, besides that little tidbit, 21 and 24 aren't that well versed in the occult.)
-Traits:
-- Dark Possibilities: 24 is 21's closest friend. If anything were to ever happen to him, well, it wouldn't be pretty. (If Henchman 24 is killed or severely wounded, ??? will happen.)
-- Henchmen: Henchmen 21 and 24 are, obviously, henchmen. (Unlike normal hero/villain units, you can assign 21 and 24 to work under another units, essentially combing their stats for that turn.)
-- Henching Careermen: Henching, especially now of all times, is a pretty good job. If you don't mind getting smacked around by heroes and villains, that is. (When assigned to recruit additional henchmen/minions, as well hero/villain units who have experience working directly under someone else, 21 and 24 gain an extra +10 to their roll.)
Le Mime
Martial: 13 (Le Mime can put up a fight without using his magic. But, that's about it.)
Diplomacy: No/0 (Le Mime is an obviously evil mime. And, even if someone was foolish enough to not realize that, he also can't speak. Or, at the least, he just chooses not to. Because... He's a mime.)
Stewardship: 7 (You don't actually know if Le Mime is good at the kind of thing.)
Intrigue: 17 (Nobody expects that it's the mime that's going to knock them out!)
Learning: ??? (You're pretty sure that Le Mime isn't an idiot, but, thanks to his whole "mime routine", you're not sure what would happen if you actually ordered him to research something.)
Occult: 23 (Le Mime is a magical mime. What else were you expecting?)
Traits:
- Mine Magic: Le Mime is a magic mime. So, yeah. (Le Mime can create magical constructs to trap enemies in. If they fail an Occult roll, they'll be trapped until Le Mime is beaten.)
- Copycat: Just don't let him punch himself in the face again. (Using his Occult stat, Le Mime can copy the Martial stat of one enemy essentially becoming their equal in battle. As long as their Martial stat is 23 or below. This limit can be raised if Le Mime's Occult skill is increased.)
- Silent History: You... Don't actually know much about Le Mime. Well, besides the obvious fact that he's a magical mime. (???)

The Doo Family (Scrappy, Dum)
Martial: 20 (Scrappy is surprisingly strong, and could probably pick up and toss someone around if he wanted, while Dum is... quite oblivious to pain.)
Diplomacy: 14 (Scrappy can be a bit obnoxious and Scooby Dum is, again... uh...)
Stewardship: 1 (Don't. Please.)
Intrigue: 24 (While Dum isn't actually that good of a detective, Scrappy is.)
Learning: 13 (While Dum isn't dumb, he's far too focused on finding "clues" than anything else, and Scrappy's still a young pup.)
Occult: 24+10(The Chest Of Demons)=34 (Things have gotten crazy, haven't they?)
Traits:
- The Chest Of Demons: "Whoever opens this chest..." (+10 to Occult. Mortals are the only ones who can open the chest. Can capture ghosts and demons. If the chest is opened when all "thirteen ghosts" are captured, then all of the creatures captured in the chest will be freed.)
- Dragon-Friend: Whatever happened to Matches, anyway? (+10 to all diplo rolls involving dragons.)
- Puppy Power!: Please, Scrappy, don't do that! (Scrappy may decided to go off on his own when on an Adventure.)

Dawn + Piplup
- Stats
- Martial: 46 (Though Dawn is only a decent athlete, Piplup is from a species that absolutely adores fighting)
- Diplomacy: 17 (Dawn is pretty charming at times and Piplup is too stubborn and egotistical to accept a No)
- Stewardship: 15 (Dawn is perfectly average with money)
- Intrigue: 19 (Dawn and Piplup are perfectly capable of using their respective cuteness to get people off guard)
Learning: 15 (Both are of average intellect)
Occult: 5 (Neither are Magically inclined)
-Traits:
--Stubborn Little Creature: Piplup doesn't know when to quit. (+15 to Martial Rolls in situations where the DC is 55 or Higher)
--Pokemon Carer: Dawn loves Pokemon, which extends to the Creatures in this New world. (+20 Diplomacy with Non-humans)
Slick
Martial: 45 (He is a genetically engineered Soilder)

Diplomacy: 20 (Though gruff, he didn't become a Sargeant for nothing)

Stewardship: 18 (Can presumably handle paperwork and money well due to being a Sargeant, even if he doesn't enjoy it)

Intrigue: 28 (Can be pretty good at stealth)

Learning: 16 (Is slightly above average)

Occult: 6 (Other than knowing Space Wizards, he has nothing in this regard)

Traits:

My Brothers: He DOES Care for his fellow Clones, in his own way. (+15 to Diplomacy Rolls with Cloned Individuals)

I Hate Clankers: He's.... Not a fan of robots. (-20 Diplomacy with Robot Characters; +20 Martial to Destroying Robots)
Jaune Arc

Martial: 27 (He is a decent fighter, but is incredibly clumsy and nervous)

Diplomacy: 19 (He WAS the previous mayor of your town, stressed and manipulated as he was)

Stewardship: 20 (Again, he used to be a mayor. He learned a thing or two about money management)

Intrigue: 30 (If the situation absolutely calls for it, Juane can actually be decently stealthy)

Learning: 16 (Juane is a decent strategist)

Occult: 30 (He has Aura unlocked, which is essentially magic)

Traits:

Forgery Master: He DID get into Beacon by forging stuff, according To Ruby. (+15 to Intrigue when telling big Lies or using forged documents)

Klutz: He's pretty clumsy. (-10 Intrigue if there's a lot of things to trip over or break)

Yeti Hunt Mini Turn 4
You pull out the wad of random currencies and pieces of gold Jack had handed you in case you needed to buy a new plane to get back to the temple. But... you have a feeling that won't be enough. With a wary sigh, even as two different women come out to berate Phibes, you pull out your communicator and call Jack.

"Hey, boss, we need more money." You say in the bluntest tone you can.

"Why?" Your boss asks, and you can feel the annoyance coming from his voice.

"The plane crashed."

"I guessed that was going to happen."

"And most of the supplies are ruined."

"Ugh. Fine. I'll sense some Jackbots and set them to maximum speed. Tibet isn't that far away, so they should be there soon. Just don't let anyone steal them, since they'll nearly be out of fuel when they get there."

Without another word, Jack hangs up.

"Well, I guess we're on our own for now." You mutter... before turning towards the two women who've no gotten into a full on shouting match with the still on the ground mad scientist. "Or maybe we're not.*

"I'll show you all! All -" He finally goes silent, even as his you're continues to love. While Le Mine is creepy, you have to thank him for shutting up Phibes.

"Hey," You speak up as both women start to walk away, "would either of you be interested in helping us?"

"Ah," Alphonse chips, "yes, we should try and get more assistance, shouldn't we? Especially after my last attempt to find that Yeti..."

"Yeti." The white-haired woman in the bodysuit mutters as she whips around to face the Frenchman. "You're looking for a Yeti?"

"Yes, I have some unfinished business with my furry friend!"

"... Argost doesn't like it when people mess with the local cryptids."

"Trust me, miss, I am have nothing to fear from Argost!" He declares proudly.

"Okay." She sighs. "You're just going to get yourself killed."

"If the Grimm don't get them first." The other white haired woman, this one who isn't wearing an orange bodysuit, adds. Huh, Grimm. You've heard that Ruby girl mention them before. You're still not really sure what they are.

"Oh, so you know what the Grimm are?" Jaune asks. "So, you're an actual Huntress, right?"

The woman freezes in place as a look of shock quickly appear and disappear on her face. Her eyes dart towards Jaune and a look of recognition appear for a few moments before disappearing. "Hmm... what is your name."

"Jaune Arc!" The young blonde replies happily. "The -" Before he can finish with whatever sort of 'and the ladies love it' line, you slap a hand over his face.

"... I'm sorry, you just... look like someone I used to know." She mutters. "Where are my manners, my name is Winter."

"Hmm, if we're doing introductions," The bodysuit wearing woman begins, "then you can call me Drew."

...

After buying a lot of supplies, and increasing the size of your "Expedition", you end up having to actually take multiple sleds with you, each one are carrying everything you need for your trip through these snow mountains. You really hope you don't have to add on anyone else, thanks to just how large your group has gotten.

But, before you leave, you decide to ask Jaune why he doesn't look like an popsicle, since he's just wearing a hoodie and a pair of jeans. He should be freezing right now!

"Uh... before we got on the plane, Ruby told me that I didn't need to worry about the cold that much if my Aura was up. I don't know why though. Maybe it protects me from the cold -"

Autopass, thanks to Winter's presence.

"Yes, it does." Winter interrupts. "As long as your Aura is up, you won't be bothered by extreme climates. It's why most Huntsmen and Huntresses in Atlas rarely wear heavy fur during our missions. Our Aura made it so we didn't have to worry about freezing to death."

"Neat. So, uh, would you mind helping everyone get an Aura? I'm pretty sure you don't want anyone freezing to death."

"... True. But, it isn't instantaneous, so I will need a bit to unlock everyone's Arua." She turns to look at the gigantic 'Cold Assault Droids', "Well, not everyone's."

(All members of the Expedition are now immune to the cold. As long as their Auras are up, that is.)

...

(As you've hired a large party of people, and bought a decent amount of supplies, the DC for persuading our friend to not run off and start his search before you were finished was lowered to such a point it was, basically, an autosucc.)

...

After a, somewhat less than gruelling thanks to these Aura things, decent bit of travel, you eventually ascend higher into the Himalayas, and come across a different town. This one... actually having an airport. Really. Couldn't that crazy guy crash next to this place? Ugh, at least you know where you can hire a new plane to -

"Hey!" Scrappy shouts. "That's Mister Van Ghoul's plane!" Without giving you a second to process what he said, he bolts off.

"... Oh come on." You groan, before trying your best to run after the tiny dog. You're not sure if anyone else followed you, but you're sure that 24 is, as you can hear him pantingnloudly behind you.

Eventually, you chase him into a strange story, with a metal skull that looks similar to the one on that chest Scrappy always carries around. And you also bump right into a guy wearing a yellow jacket.

"Wow! You got tall, Flim-Flam!" Scrappy notes as he examines the man.

"Ha, and you're still as short as usual, buddy." The young man, Flim-Flam, chuckles.

"Hey!"

"Come on, it's just some light ribbing, dude." He chuckles, before flicking his head towards you. "Oh, uh, hi there! Welcome to the Thirteen Ghosts! If you want some -"

"Flim-Flam, is that Scrappy I hear?" An older voice asks as... hey, isn't that that Van Ghoul guy the boss wanted to hire? Why is he in the Himalayas? "Ah, it is! And it seems he's brought quite a few friends to our new shop."

... Wait, what?

Mr. Van Ghoul leads you into one of the store's backrooms, which looks far more refined than the rest of the place. The Warlock, if your boss was right about his occupation, takes a seat, a, with a wave of his hand, a floating teacup appears in front of him. Huh, cool trick. Maybe you should ask him to teach you that?

"So, what brings a couple bee-themed men into my shop?" Flim-Flam asks as he slides up next to you. "I mean, I can get Scrappy -"

"We were chasing after him." 24 points at the now embarrassed little puppy. "You really need to slow down next time."

"Uh, yeah... I just wanted to see how Flim-Flam was doing." Scrappy shrubs weakly.

"Eh, don't sweat it, kid." You chuckle. "But, we should get going. Alphonse will probably go chasing off after that Yeti -"

"Ah, so more Yeti hunters." Vincent grumbles. "Let me give you some advice, don't go running after the local Yetis, as they're all under Argost's protection."

"You mean that weird TV show guy?"

"'TV show guy'? He's no mere television host, he is a Yeti himself."

... Huh. That actually makes a weird sort of sense. That Argost guy never really, well, looked human. Though, now you're wondering if Alphonse is hunting him, which would... complicate things even more. You don't want to kill the guy responsible for one of Jack's favorite shows, after all.

"Oh." You try to think up a response, when you realize something. "So, I bet you know a lot about the weird stuff that's around here. Do you know if Shangri-La is -"

"The temple?" Vincent cuts you off. "Yes. It was once a part of Shambhala, before it finally fell. Not as glorious as it was portrayed, like most lost kingdoms and people, but it was, I hear, a nice place to visit. I imagine you're also going to try and find it too?"

"... Well, this weird, creepy guy killed a guy who was going to blow up our plane, and then he told us to find it before he turned into red smoke." You pause for a moment. "And, yes, I know that sounds crazy. But, I don't really know of a better way to describe what happened."

"Oh, goodie, demons. Probably the same ones who were helping that mercenary team who kept rambling on about finding Shangri-La." Mr. Van Ghoul mutters after a moment. "Just what I needed to hear."

"... Uh, demons?"

"Yes, the same one you met, the one who can transform into red smoke, killed a few of the demons that came around here. It's why I came here, to see if those idiots were really looking for Shangri-La, or if they were just using that as an excuse to break into the town's temple."

90+28=118

"Ah, so if you're here to investigate them, would you mind -"

"Let me guess," The Warlock sighs as he gets up, his floating, and now empty, teacup disappearing, "you want my help."

"Oh, that sounds like a great idea!" Scrappy pipes up. "You can help us fight that Yeti, and those demons! We can give them a left and a right, and a..." Scrappy continues to describe different ways he wants to fight people.

"Hmm... well, I'm not much of a fist-fighter, so I would appreciate some help in my investigations. And, I do have a friend that lives in Shangri-La that I've been meaning to visit, so..." Vincent chuckles. "Alright. Though, I will have to pack a few things before we leave."

"Weeeeellllll," Flim-Flam butts in, "if you're all going on a big adventure, you need weapons!"

"Wait, you sell weapons here?" You ask, as you're pretty sure you didn't see any guns or knives being sold anywhere in the store.

"Yes and no." The man quickly answers, before he pulls a remote out of his pockets, presses it, and one of the walls of the rooms opens up. And, inside, is a smorgasbord of different weapons and junk. "I can't legally sell guns here, but I can sell everything you need to hunt a monster. Well, unless you're hunting a werewolf. The townfolks, even if they're not werewolves anymore, still don't like silver stuff in their town."

"Now," He grins, "I think it's time to start the tour."

...

Ten minutes later, you, 24, and your new robotic "friend" begin carrying out your purchases towards your expedition's sleds, the other members of your "party" looking somewhat annoyed at Scrappy. Admittedly, you didn't need to buy the novelty Chest Of Demons, but it was a pretty cool lunchbox. And, who knows, it could come in handy one day.

"Hey, Slick," You smile as you try to balance the rocket launcher in your hand, making sure it doesn't fall into the snow, "I got you and your boys something."

"Gee, you shouldn't have." The clone chuckles as he takes the massive weapon out of your hand, as one of the Snow Troopers does the same to the one 24 is holding, "Heavy, but that's a given. Not sure if we're going to have to buy another sled or not. These things are already weighed down more than they should."

"If I may sir," Interrupts the golden robot you purchase from Flim-Flam, who looks horribly dented and mangled, "but, I can carry those for you."

"Hey, don't I know you from somewhere?" Slick mutters.

"Ah, you are probably mistaking me for a C3-PO. Certainly understandable sir, but I am a C3-PX. While we may share many basic functions, we're still different models." The golden droid quickly explains. "And, unlike the PO line, PX models such as myself are not afraid to wield deadly weapons."

"... Eh, kriff it. I don't exactly trust droids, but you can carry these things if you want. Hopefully it won't slow you down too much."

"Oh, trust me, sir, when I say this. They won't."

(What Do You Encounter)

Your guide is going to, first, make his way up to his sister's and brother-in-law's radio station before he guides you the rest of the way. Does something happen on the way up?

[] You hear a man's voice, almost immediately followed by a hail of gunshots. Drew's eyes widen, before she runs off.

[] You spot a group of robots fighting off giant, icey wolves. Winter mutters something under here breath, before charging St the beasts.

[] You come across a skirmish between what seem to be Argost's soldiers and a group of mercenaries. While you'd normally give it to Argost's group, as their "Cryptids" should make them more than a match for most basic PMCs, some of the mercs ate walking around with large chunks taken out of them, and still fighting like nothing is wrong.

[] You find an old, nearly ancient really, man running for his life. He keeps shouting about a "Snow Ghost". What- Wait. The fuck is that?

[] You encounter nothing and make it safely to the only radio station that's this high up the mountain.

Yeti Mini Turn 6
Occult: Autosucc, thanks to the presence of Drew.

... While many of the people Jack forced you to bring along has never even heard of the Himalayas, you knew the true dangers these mountains posed. Even veteran climbers could simply disappear one day, their bodies never to be found. Bodies that you really didn't want to uncover on accident or end up joining. And, as your group continued up, you couldn't shake the ever-growing feeling of paranoia. Like... a hundred invisible eyes were watching you, their number slowly growing as each minute passed.

If you're being honest with yourself, you're actually a bit glad when you start hearing the sound of gunfire, the sounds of angry shouting. At least that could distract you from this... weird feeling of fear plaguing you. Sure, guns could kill you, but at least you could fight against someone who was trying to shoot you. You couldn't exactly suplex a mountain in submission.

Well, unless you're a giant. Then you could probably destroy a mountain.

But, your temporary leave from the terror that was building up is interrupted as Drew shouts "Doyle!" and rushes off towards the sound of gunfire. Well, that's not gold. Umm...

"Great." 24 grumbles, "I guess we're either going to have to help her, or just leave her -"

"Hey, haven't you always wanted to save a hot damsel in distress?" You chuckle, "Or, well, got swordswoman. But you get the point."

"... I really want to argue with you," 24 sighs in defeat, "but you're not wrong."

Your group tries their best to follow Drew as she rushes ahead, with the giant robots being quickest solely thanks to their size. Honestly, you probably should have tried to ride on top of those things, instead of just having them pull the carts. Hmm, you really should try and see if that will work after this.

After marching through enough snow that you, normally be incredibly tired and cold, you finally catch up with Drew. And the sight you see isn't very pretty. A small group of mercenaries are hiding behind a downed airship of some kind as a hail of bullets rain down on them, turning the bodies of their fallen friends into Swiss cheese. You're not exactly sure why the guys ripping them apart are almost solely made up of different creepy robots and weird guys in dark blue cloaks, but you're even more weirded out by the guy who's standing around in a normal brown business suit. It's not just because he's acting like the cold doesn't bother him, as that's mostly the same for you, but you swear you've seen him somewhere before...

Intrigue: Autocsucc thanks to Vincent Van Ghoul.

"A Ravencroft." Mr. Can Ghoul notes suddenly. "I haven't seen one of them in years."

The glasses-wearing man's head immediately snaps towards Vincent, a cruel smile on his face. "And a Van Ghoul. Sarah wrote quite a bit about her meetings with your lot."

"Let me guess, she hated him since he wasn't the same kind of power-hungry which she was." The warlock chuckles. "Really, you and her? You give honest magic users like myself a bad name."

"And you -"

"Wait!" You declare. "You're Ben Ravencroft! I'm a huge fan of your books!"

"..." Ben looks speechless for a few moments, even as a few of the mercenaries hiding behind the crashed ship try to pepper him with bullets. Then, he smiles once more, though this one is a little less filled with malice. "While I'm always happy to meet a fan, I'm sad to say that I can't stick around. I still need to make sure that Gem hasn't screwed up the Crystal. But, rest assured, I'll leave you in capable hands." Ravencroft snaps his fingers. "Deathwatch, deal with them."

"With pleasure." The leader of the blue-armored men grunts, as he pulls out a - oh. That's a fucking lightsaber. Or, well, a black-colored one.

"Well, kriff me." You hear Slick, or one of the other clones, mutter from behind you.

-[] Who do you assign to this action?

[] Protecting The, Allied, Mercs: So, Drew has quickly linked up with the mercs that see getting slaughter. Maybe you should send someone else to help them? (Opposed Martial Roll. Will give small bonuses to other Martial rolls, thanks to covering and suppressing fire.)
-[] Who do you assign to this action? Drew is automatically locked into the action.

[] Heavy Metal: So, there's a bunch of robots shooting at you now. You really need to deal with them. (Opposed Martial Roll.)
-[] Who do you assign to this action?

[] Head Hunter: That guy with the black lightsaber is probably a big deal. But who can even take down a guy with a lightsaber, anyway? (Opposed Martial Roll/Duel.)
-[] Who do you assign to this action?

[] Sneaky Sneaky: Hey, maybe you can send some of the sneaker members of your group to go and sneak around those robots? They'd help at least distract them from everyone else. (Opposed Intrigue roll.)
-[] Who do you assign to this action?

[] Eyes In The Snow: They're Watching... (???)
-[] Let them help...

Ravencroft raised his hands up, his mouth opening to speak... and no sound came out. His widened in confusion, before he settled an angry glare on Le Mime. Le Mime had a cruel smile on his.

"Well now, I haven't seen a mine with that kind of magic in years." Vincent snickered lightly. "Not since my school days."

43

"Wait, Uncle Scooby Dum, how did you get over there!" The attention of the three magic users quickly shifted to Scooby Dum, who stood right next to Ben, two different, ancient lamps held in his paws.

Ravencroft let out a a silent snarl, even as he leaped at the dog -

"Huh. That's a worryingly large amount of rockets."

Hey, does this make you an action hero now? Charging in to rescue people under a hail of gunfire. Really, when you get back to the Temple and talk to the other Henchmen, you're going to brag about this. If you make it out alive of course.

"Uh, 21," 24 hisses as a bullet flies over his head, "are you sure this is a good idea? I don't like being used as target pract-"

"Doyle, how did you even get up here!" Drew shouted, even as she dodged a barrage of weapon fire.

"We were looking for you!" One of the mercs shouted back, even as he gunned down one of the attacking bots. "So, uh, do you know who these guys are working for? I don't think they're on Argost's payroll."

"Who would I know? I've been stuck lower on -" Drew stopped as a rocket slammed into the mass of kill-bots.

Huh. Well, you weren't expecting that.

Dawn didn't really like this. She wasn't a soldier, and neither was Pipilup. But, she also knew when someone wasn't going to back down, when someone was going to fight on even when they could get hurt. So, while she hadn't known Drew long, she couldn't just leave her behind.

... It may been stupid, but, unlike most of the other members of the "Expedition" ran to help the guys getting shot at or fought the weird sword guy, ahe simply pointed at the horde of metal monsters and shouted, "Piplup, use Bubble Beam!"

"Pip, Piplup!" Her loyal Pokemon companion shouted, before blowing a stream of bubbles at the robots.

"An unorthodox way of fighting." Dawn nearly jumped out of her skin as the group of giant machines opened up. Wow, that was -wait, who was trying to talk to her. "I must say, Mistress Dawn, your tiny animal friend there is quite strange."

Wait, that was that weird golden "protocol droid" thing. "Uh, okay?"

"Yes. I- Ah, Mistress Dawn, I suggest you move back, in case one of those tickets accidentally hit this area."

Rockets? What was he - Oh Arceus!

"Why is a warrior like yourself fighting alongside one of Jango's cloned welps?" The man sniggered, as he sliced off a Jackbot's arm. "You could be so much more."

"You don't know anything about me." Winter snarled, even as her sword smashed into his saber. Though, she did make a mental note to ask 'Slick' about this Jango at a later date. "And, I'm not going to listen to a mere gun for hire."

"Heh, but in this world, isn't that all we are?" The cloaked man asked, even as he tried swipe her feet from out under her. "We all serve Masters that do not truly deserve our skill. There is only one man or woman who claim such a role, and none have come to take up the mantle."

Okay, Winter thought, this guy was obviously mad. He may not have been shouting about being a Human or Faunus supremacist, but she could tell when someone was a fanatic. And it was quite clear that this man was an extremist for whatever beliefs he held.

"You're really starting to remind me of someone you shouldn't. And, trust me, that's not something you want to do." Winter grunted, ripght before a Glyph appeared behind the man.

"I will give you some advice. Never underestimate a Mando-" The man chuckled, right as a giant white fist burst from the snowy grown and grabbed him, and quickly tossed him into the air.

"Yeesh," Slick muttered, "those Death Watch morons are - Rocket in coming!"

Pemba Sherpa regretted many things, and waking up today was something he now wish he hadn't done. He really should have just slept in today, and just ignored Alphonse's shouting. But, no he had to get dragged into this insanity.

"... Why are we sneaking around those robot guys?" One of the kids who, for reasons he didn't know, joined up with the expedition, asked as they tried to find a way behind the killer machines.

"Would you rather we run at those robots head first?" Another snarked.

(Flim-Flam)D10=6 (Smoke Bomb Launcher, +15 Intrigue)

(Alphonse)D10=10 (Automated Rocket Launchers, +20 to all combat rolls this turn for all allies.)

... And then that's when things went absolutely insane. Flim-Flam chuckled, and pulled out some sort of weird device.

"Alright, I think we're close enough." He said with a smirk, before he pointed it at the back of the robots, and then a massive plume of smoke engulfed them. "The N-X Smoke Launcher. Never leave home without it."

"Well, my friend, while that is impressive," Alphonse smiled as he pulled off the tarp that was covering the sled that he had stubbornly brought along with them. And almost immediately, a giant rocket launcher raised up from the sled, and fired.

... Oh, yeah. He had a lot of these crazy traps, didn't he?

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Xing-Xing had been hiding for a long time. He had hidden from humanity for most of his life, then he had kept away from his oldest friend for many years. Then Argost came back and took him away. For what reasons, he didn't know. Someone strange had appeared before they had reached Argost's castle, and freed him from his cage.

So, he had gone back on the run, eventually making his way back to the lands of his youth. He hid amongst the other Xing-Xing, trying to lead them the best he could so they wouldn't fall under his old friend's sway. Of course, they couldn't hide forever... but he was surprised that it was thanks to a bunch of greedy humans and a living rock rather than Argost himself.

He and his people had, sadly, gotten quite good at killing. Even before these strange humans and robots began hunting them, the mountains had gotten infested by strange monsters. So, when the first of the mercenaries tried to kill one of their clans, the retribution was swift.

Of course, they couldn't attack their stronghold. There were far too many of then, and far too few Xing-Xing for such an assault. But, that's when he saw her, walking up the mountain. Drew Saturday, a woman, along with her family, who has tried to save him from Argost. And, alongside her was a large group of different humans and other robots that were, quite obviously, not aligned with the ones who had loved into the ancient temple. With their help, with her help, they actually had a chance. and, when they found themselves in danger, helping others who had been attacked, he realized that this was the perfect opportunity to reveal themselves...

... And then most of the mountain exploded. Honestly, he was surprised that an avalanche hadn't happened. Yet, the snow stayed, mostly, still even as many of the machines the strange man had brought were turned into scrap.

While his kin were worried, he quickly put them at ease. Those explosions had destroyed most of their enemies. There was now - He covered his eyes as a flash of green flashed over his vision.

"THAT'S IT! BEN RAVENCROFT DOE NOT LOSE!" The strange magician who had helped led the trouble makers screams, pulling out a glowing pink object. "JEANIE! GET RID OF THESE FOOLS!"

(Scooby Dum)

Scooby Dum stole two lamps. What happens?

[] Scooby Dum opens the green lamp on accident. (???)

[] Scooby Dum opens the purple lamp on accident?

[] Both of the lamps are accidentally opened.

(What shall the others do?)

[] Fight back with magic. (Occult)

[] Try to shoot Ben. (Martial)

(What about the Xing-Xing?)

[] They stay back for now. (???)

[] They charge forward and join the fight. (???)

The Mook Squadron: No Quiet on the Western Front Part 1
You were Manjimutt and you had to be honest. You were pants-wetting terrified (if you wore pants at least).

Sure, you were the only one here who couldn't die (you already had to become this current form after all), but you could still be maimed. Or captured. Or horribly, horribly tortured.

"Hey Manji, you ok?" Mary Scary the Serepentian obliviously asked from across of you in the trenches. You mumble to yourself in annoyance a bit.

"It's Manjimutt, not just Manji!" You grunt.

"Really?" Henchman 5 of the Ex-Monarch squadron blinked. You sigh.

"Hey, Arglot, you want to get a beer after this?" Argh the Argit's Species Member smirked.

"Hmmph. Don't be so arrogant.... But yeah, I would love to." His fellow member of his species Arglot chuckled, keeping his sniper rifle Aimed firmly all around, keeping his eyes out.

All was quiet after that... Until all Hell broke loose.

XANA Robots and conscription members descended upon them like ravenous piranhas, and they could barely hold them back.

"Wow! These guys would be pretty cool if they weren't trying to kill us." Toepick chuckled a bit eerily, swiping at the foes.

"Less gabbing, more jabbing!" A General in the VR Fantasy Squirrels snapped in annoyance as the fighting continued. Eventually the army was just too much. Henchman 7 had a look of determination.

"Hey, Speedy? Tell Mr. Spicer thanks for everything." The man nodded.

"7?! What're you doing?!" Speedy gasped. Wordlessly, 7 pulled out six bombs and walked into the crowd of foes. They saw an easy target and descended as he had hid the bombs.

"7! NOOOOOOO!" Speedy shouted.

"Go Jack Pack..." 7 smiled contently with closed eyes, just as the bombs went off....

BOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!

A majority of the foes were all destroyed in the blast. The last few were headshot by Arglot.

"Doggone..." You mumble.

"He... He gave his life... For us..." DemiDevimon 6 sniffled.

"He was a most masterful mate." Dastardly added his usual alliteration, somberly.

The Mooks all gathered 7's remains and buried him under an oak tree.

'Here Lies A Good Man.' A plaque Arglot created read as they set it down on the makeshift grave.

You had a sad moment of silence.

"How touching..." A voice wheezed. Without having time to turn around, Muttley was stabbed.

"MUTTLEY!" Dastardly shouted in a panic, cradling his injured canine companion.

Everyone else turned to see a crazed looking man with a ton of injuries. A conscript of XANA's Army.

"You BASTARD!" Toga snapped, stabbing him back repeatedly, even after the man died. She eventually had to be restrained.

"Muttley... Please... Don't go..." Dastardly sobbed as Muttley coughed up blood.

"Heh heh... Razzum frazzum... Jerk... Goodbye... Rick Rastardly..." Muttley smiled, hugging his lifelong companion as he passed on. Dastardly wailed in true sorrow. Everyone else hung their heads.

This war was going to be so bad... How little the group knew....
