Another update. Things are certainly getting interesting, no?

As a side note, I have determined that gaining new stuff - like specializations - can be made easier by posting intelligent and interesting stuff. Essentially, you want linguistics, anthropology, sociology or whateverology specs? Doing some analysis of the clues dropped around, and trying to guess at the world-building I have going certainly can't hurt your chances.

Don't mistake that for an opportunity to grind "XP". Rather, consider it a formalization of the rather obvious linking of roleplay and character advancement.

Perhaps more importantly, since you utterly lack the specs, you've only got your own analysis to rely on. Better get cracking if you don't want to keep stepping in it? :3
 
Well, I guess there's nothing like re-inventing entire soft-science fields from scratch using only what our characters might remember from random bits of popular media and observation as a guideline.

In all fairness, it should be noted that alguLoD had every expectation of his move working out perfectly. The risk of failure was quite minuscule.

Alas, it clearly wasn't minuscule enough. :3

Jem, if you don't say anything, I'm going to make assumptions about what your character does to move things forwards. Just a heads up, yeah?

As for the other group... if you're not going to do anything interesting to the remaining riders, I'd appreciate hearing about it soon, so I can wrap that part up, and we can move towards the next big issue.

And hey, did you know that it's been over a month since I last updated for MightyDwarf and Jemnite, and they haven't posted at all since then? Man, such interesting facts!

I have uni now, and various other stuff, so I may be slow at times, but as long as people post, there should eventually be updates. Weeeee!

For those of you not aware, the game has started moving again. Quite slowly, but I'd say that's just because only three of the players are aware of the game being partly active at the moment. Those of you who still feel interested in the game, kindly post either here or on RPOL. Those of you who aren't, well, it'd be appreciated if you still posted just to let us know so your characters can be horribly murdered or possessed by horrific "players" from outer space decide to retire on the spot and go join some random primitive tribe of natives.
 
And we have an action list. The rest of you have till tomorrow if you want to object to it, then I post.

What do you mean, he's a prisoner? You brought a strange person who could have any number of diseases and parasites onto our ship! More than that, what if he got violent and broke out of the brig?

You didn't even bother to come two doors down to tell me anything! I only noticed because I had to walk past the brig after using the restroom! What if he was hurt, and actually required medical attention?

What if he's somebody important and we get charged with kidnapping him?

But what the hell happened that we started taking prisoners? Is there a war going on? Is he supposed to be safer up here than down there? What the fuck is going on Sharpe?!

He drops Claire a short message going "we picked up a bunch of prisoners, I just left one in a holding cell. Leaving to deal with more stuff planetside" and then returns.

I'm not gonna do your communications for you, but I try to stay within the bounds of "not-being-Evangelion-characters". I'd say that in this case it'd have been plausible to have the message be telepathic, but it could also not be. In any case, the end result would not change, merely Theo's position.

If you like, you may revert to be aboard the Clear Skies while Claire is yelling at you.

Also, AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
 
Urgh, attack of the common sense!

I just realized, that with the amount of time gone by, I'd have barely had enough time to start stripping drones for parts. Edited that into my actions, sorry to throw things off.

Why would I be tightening panels anyway? You need to get them off to get at the good stuff.

Shade, do you want to instead do a convo as I bring him up to the ship, or the convo of you radioing me?

I can work with either, but I am curious as to how to proceed.
