Oh Crow you poor thing.

Did you remember the True City refund? And fyi it's a library refund, not temple, though the temple is giving permanent =1 Mysticism if that counts?
Right, library. Yeah, I assumed infinite true cities. 2 is close enough to that I don't think it matters for any of these calculations.

Actually, that was super easy. Almost nothing consumes Mysticism, so yay. Basically it makes the sacred warriors much more competitive. It didn't actually affect what actions were numerically best at anything.
I don't think it matters for any action but double-main Build Walls?
I think you're right.

You know... something that I might actually be able to include in this. Forest usage. That's essentially a non-listed stat, with a single action that increases it.

Does anyone know how much forest Expand Forest gives? I'm suspecting +1/+2 for secondary/main... @Academia Nut can you confirm/correct that?

Edit: Also, I think the only regular action we have so far that spends it is glassworks at 1 per glassworks. I'm not including mines in this at all because they're not generally available.

On Genghis Khan in this system I rate him as a Heroic Diplo, Admin, and Martial. We've seen that Heroic Diplo Nomad heroes can happen and that they can link together lots of tribes, see Paltruvi, and that such things make the Nomads able to remember stuff much better through time.

If such a Khan appears we are really boned. We probably(?) won't die but everything will be on fire and we will need about 2 or 3 centuries to recover.

I'm not sure but that sounds right. Tech stuff also affects it I think because we suddenly were at 5 slots when we were at 4 and I don't think we took a Expand Forest, though I can go check.

We would probably end up vassalised if I'm being honest, some people are still thinking we should've paid the Nomads during the Second Great Nomad War, if a Ghengis Khan expy comes along they will likely get a larger following.

Edit: Look up and see that I am right

The provinces doing endless festivals may not actually be ideal, but it's pretty hilarious. Everyone is drowning and Ymaryn are partying it up.

Or we just pay tribute and wait for his heirs to squander his legacy.
Well Genghis Khan was a man who to my knowledge kicked the shit out of you and your country and looted and burned everything, then he came to the negotiating table and told you to pay tribute.

So either way everything will be on fire.

Which is why we should expand more into the steps so that he burns less important stuff when he does so.

The trouble with that war was, everything in the narrative led people to believe that paying tribute wouldn't actually work. The nomad leader was explicitly trying to exterminate the Stallions despite probably already having plenty of loot, and there was no sign that he actually asked for tribute. So a bunch of normally-moderate voices assumed it would be a wasted gesture and everyone jumped on the war wagon.

If next time we have reason to think tribute would work, I'm down with it.

Not quite. He asked for tribute first, if you said no he thrashed you and if you said no again, then he would build a pyramid of skulls.

One of the most exceptional things about him was that he preferred his loot faster and not drenched in blood if possible.

Pretty sure we expanded forest.

I ended up assuming that charcoal followed Econ Expansion slots, so a Main Expand forest only gives one as well.

Both posts are now updated for it, and glassworks is no longer amazingly efficient. So it goes... ;)

I feel like we should really be focusing hard on Stability options for the next century or two while the climate change warning is in effect. We've got some good stability options for the first time since Grand Sacrifice went away, and it's a good opportunity to really give CA a thorough workout.

I love that Rul is dying her hair by the way, it's incredibly funny
Considering how heroes tend to shape society and the power the trio has already amassed, I suspect we might get a lot more young people dyeing their hair after she's had a few decades in office. I'm for it, really, even if we do take a small Wealth dip. It's funny.
Assuming that 6 Cent is still gold and 7 is red.
Doesn't the second True City bring max Cent down by 1?
The choices are obvious and locked in. Policy is changing to Restoration, project length appears to be closer to 12 actions than 4.
Aw, there goes the Study Stars chain again.

Hmm.

Interesting. Well if we can buy him off I see it as a opportunity to build the hell up for the time he comes back.

We did not actually all though West Wall and the Stallions both took 2 Secondaries and 2 Mains of it.

Yes, but I am assuming that like other stats Cent has two gold levels and one red, such that 5 is gold, 6 is gold and 7 is red with the true city having brought it down to 7 from 8.

I assume the bet is that we get two Gold numbers.

I wouldn't call that bet safe, myself.
Well literally every other stat works that way, so I am assuming it until I can find a wog saying otherwise.

We could be the Shield Against The North, the way Vlad Dracul was Europe's shield against the Turks.

Buuut we'll probably just hide out in our hills and let the waves break against us, instead.
We are definitely the Shield for the Highlanders. Never have they tasted the sweet kiss of Nomads except when they were the WC.

Also any connection to Vlad Dracul pleases me and with the tentative plans floating around to expand east we may become more Shield-like.

All of that will come after we deal with these climate shenanigans and the aftermath. If any civ cracks I will support grabbing them up, especially if we already have the Palace by that point.

I went back through and looked. My best guess is that some of the Hathatyn villages that Southshore got were heavily wooded. Dunno.
Makes sense, because we are getting forest slots by Word of AN with Propagating the March. Which makes sense because with their smelting of bronze and other smelting industries they probably have a need for charcoal too.
