Where the Wild Things Are
- Pronouns
- He/Him
You've done it. Fought your way through the swell of your lessers, broken through the fighting and the destruction, pushed so close to your prize that you can just about taste it. All that's standing between you and true ascension is nine other beings of similar power. Nine paragons, some of the strongest beings in the Warp, all here for the same reason you are.
Your domains crash and grind against each other, shards of the warp battling for dominance in the shadows of their masters. Great conflagrations explode into being and are extinguished just as quickly, the shifting tides of the Immaterium utterly dominated by the force of your wills.
Then, with an explosion of tarnished light, everything is still. The Temple-Tomb of the Forgotten God, the ultimate aim of your ambitions, finally deigns to reveal itself. In the face of apotheosis, your murderous intent is subdued, if only for a moment, as you gaze upon your destiny. Dark spires claw their way upwards, engraved with abominations and blasphemous idols. Shadows loom dark and heavy, even as robed figures - faceless to the last - ghost through desolate halls and bow before empty altars.
It's so close. Close enough that you can reach out and take it-
Before you can, however, a storm howls into existence. Dark and twisted, filled with screaming souls and rending winds, the first words and death cry of the deity you seek to plunder. It's thick, dangerous, something that will certainly wound any of you and kill great swathes of your armies in the process. A wall, sealing off the Temple-Tomb from those that would take its treasures.
It's blocked off your prize, until you can manage to break through. Or, a treacherous voice whispers to you, until one of the others can break through. Ten sets of eyes bore into each other, searching for a hint of weakness. This is it. This is what you've been waiting for, scheming for, killing for. The prize is as good as yours.
And you refuse to let anyone else take what's yours.

Turns will be 2 weeks from when the last Turn Update is posted. Extensions are available on a case by case basis, but must be cleared in advance.
Turn Orders must be sent via SV DM, and may not exceed 1000 words. You're free to do however many things you can fit into that word limit, but try not to go overboard. Secret Actions are possible, but should be clearly marked as secret. Diplomacy and scheming between players is possible, but any formal agreements should be made in a group DM with me as well.
Each player starts with 1.5 Greater Daemons worth of Legions. You can assign your Legions in increments of 0.25 Greater Daemons worth to a given task, with a larger army proportion meaning a higher likelihood of that task succeeding. Any tasks requiring troops to move, defend, or make war will require Legions assigned to those tasks. Meanwhile, actions such as research, recruitment, and other such things might not need Legions, but actions with Legions assigned to them are more likely to succeed than ones that aren't. Your Warlord can also of course be assigned to any task, and counts as 1 Greater Daemon in terms of the power they can bring to bear. You can only assign your Warlord to one task.
Every so often (after turn 1), things might come hurtling out of the depths of the Warp, landing in the map. Sometimes those things are good. Sometimes they're not. Keep an eye out for them though, because they'll be able to change the course of the GSRP.
If you have any questions, shoot me a DM, either on SV or on Discord, and I'll respond as fast as I'm able.
Beyond that, good luck and have fun!
