Our sweet December.

1825, after the death of Alexander I of Russia, there is a confusion in the line of succession between Konstantin Pavlovich and Nicholas Pavlovich Romanov. At that time the Union of Prosperity took Peter's Square, the civil war broke out in December and lasted until January of 1826, where an agreement was made between the Decembrists and the Tsarist government, since the revolutionaries took possession of the Romanov family.

The Russian Empire is going through a curious stage of transition, where the political heads of the Decembrist movement were cut and the confusion of the Tsarist government led to a cold agreement. A new generation of politicians stands. The noble landowners and old Tsarist administrators expect favorable treatment from the new administration.

In Russia, the first elections are held to determine the first State Duma with 600 seats, which will decide the first constitution of the Russian state, and possibly its future. Although in post-Napoleon Europe would react, who knows if they last.

Situation December (1825) -January (1826): The Russian state reached an agreement between the revolutionaries, who are mainly in the northern, central and southern parts of European Russia. Ethnic minorities have not rebelled, but small riots in Warsaw and the surrounding area can make the situation worse.
Some troops in the Caucasus are lost, making threatening movements towards Persia. To which the British government ensures caution with Russia.
The Greeks in the Balkans are in revolution against the Ottomans, and the great powers seek a solution, the rebels also consider asking for the necessary support from Russia.

Ideas for the new Russian state and its constitution: Return to the monarchy, limit the monarchy, establish the republic or any idea that the character has for the near future of the Russian state.
The Serfdom: Serfdom is the social condition where most citizens of Russia live, which links them to the powerful noble landowners. With the current political confusion, it is difficult to know the fate of the institution and what should happen to the peasants. Release them, or keep the serfdom?
Question of minorities: The Russian state has now inherited hundreds of ethnic and religious minorities, it is difficult to know what to do with them, grant them autonomy, independence or even expel or kill them are possible options. Most have been calm but Poland has started small uprisings that require attention.
The royal family and the head of government: The Romanov family was captured by those opposed to autocracy, now it is time to decide the fate of the Russian monarchy. Keep it in an absolutist or constitutional model, or get rid of the monarchy. In case the monarchy is maintained. Who is the new monarch? 1) Konstantin, even against your wishes. 2) Nicholas, next in line with Paul I. 3) Michael, younger brother of Alexander I, Konstantine and Nicholas. 4) Choose a new monarch. In case Russia choose to get rid of the monarchy. Will the country be led by parliament, a chancellor, a president, a prime minister or which particular politician?
New foreign policy: The name says it by itself, Russia is in a curious era to have experienced that jolt. So close to Napoleon's time. Some look with caution that will make the largest state geographically in Europe.
The American colonies: Russian expansion to the east took them to a new continent, America. The American colonies of Russia only serve to obtain skins, but they have remained isolated due to the chaos in Europe. Now they have reconnected with the capital, they await orders. What should happen to the Russian Alaska? It can be sold, it can become independent or more "volunteer" settlers can be sent there.
