"It's time." he said to himself as he looked into the city, he couldn't help but close his eyes and listen to the different sounds of its chaotic heartbeat, all of the people, vehicles, and advertisements blended into each other.

He activated his cellphone, it was hard for him to call it that, considering that the phones in this era were nothing more than pieces that projected images and sound into a person's head.

"Is everyone ready?" he asks everyone who agreed to help him do this one last spell.

There used to be magic in the world, but the magic died a long time ago and with it everything that depended on it to live.

Surprisingly plants and animals that didn't need magic, but used it to grow and heal themselves whenever they were injured began to die faster than they used to.

He can't help but take a deep breath and cough when the pollution of the city fills his lungs.

He closes his eyes and begins to chant, it's not a real chant because he doesn't know any, he begins to copy one of the spells that he heard when he was in his version of Earth and still watched anime.

From where he stood a burst of wind blew into the world sending shockwaves into long dead lay lines.

Everything that once had magic- mana- prana and whatever else people called it was being connected, their collective memories reached into the past and into whatever dimensions still had magic in them.

The first time that every being looked to the sky and wondered what was up there or what those tiny dots in the night sky were connected with the breaths of the first and last beings to breathe in their first and last breaths.

Time and space no longer held any meaning as for a moment they were the same.

The end of existence collided with its beginning.

He watched silently as the city began to burn around him as electronics shortcircuited one after another. He could hear the Humans and A. I screamed in terror as the heartbeat of technology was used to restart the heartbeat of magic.

"It's now or never. Hear my call and seal my fate!" he calls to his servant as the lights of the city die.

As the world became silent men- women, and children who never knew of their connections to the mystic arts felt their bodies burn with a power that they couldn't understand.

And yet even in this time when mages had been forced to abandon their practices, some still remembered the old ways it was they who heard the call of the war and answered its challenge.

The lights of the city slowly began to come back with the different energies that he had tapped into, as they calmed themselves while they entered the world that had long forgotten them and recharged everything.

He looks at his right hand and smirks when he sees the three red lines that make his command seal, the energies will only stay in the world until the war ends and then they will gather for one last wish.

"Well guess we should get started." he says to his servant who doesn't say anything, he just vanishes from sight as he takes spirit form.

"Shirou, you're going to be late!" Shirou heard his mom say to him as he looked at the three lines that had appeared on his right hand.

He could feel them pulsing as they sent energy through his nerves, he regretted agreeing to that man's request, but the guy was paying him and all that he had to do was say that he was ready.

A long time ago, or maybe it wasn't too long ago, it depended on who one asked, there used to be magic in the world, but it stopped working when Humans began to understand how everything worked.

His family was once a family of Magus, but ever since magic left the world they had changed their way of doing things like everyone else.

He exited the bathroom and headed towards the kitchen, his house, or better said his apartment wasn't the biggest but it wasn't small either, so he had more room than most people.

He began to imagine the conversation that he would soon have, and how he would explain to his family that he was now a part of something that he didn't understand.

His heart began to beat faster than it ever should have been possible because his grandfather was sitting with everyone else and he wasn't alone, his dad was there too.

"Shirou what's wrong?" his mom asked him, but he just shook his head and said that he was surprised to see his grandfather sitting with everyone.

Shirou watched as his mom gave him a playful smile before she sat next to his older sister, who despite her age looked younger than he did. This was something that annoyed him because she liked pretending that she was younger than him and used it to keep girls away from him.

As he sat down he decided that it was better to say something now before things got out of hand.

"Mom- Dad, grandpa remember how I asked all of you to teach me how to do Magecraft." he said to them and noticed his parents worried expressions.

"We already told you that it's pointless to try, that stage of human history is over." his father said to him. with the same voice that he uses whenever he is talking to a client or one of his superiors.

"Yeah, a funny thing about that." He said to his dad as he lifted his right hand and showed everyone the command seal that was pulsing with power.

Shirou can only watch as his dad- mom and older sister run toward him and grab his hand, he can see the shock in their eyes, he watches as their shock is replaced with fear, as they look at him with worried-filled eyes.

"Explain now." his grandfather orders him, the man's voice has enough power to force his entire family to step aside and leave room for him and his grandfather to see each other.

"There isn't a lot to say. I found a poster that said that someone was looking for people to help him cast one last spell, and since I was always interested in magic I went to see if what that guy said was true."

"There were a lot of people, but the poster said that the guy was offering money so I wasn't surprised to find the bar filled with people, but almost everyone left when he began to explain his plan.'

"Which was?" his grandfather asked him as he didn't care for the minor details and just wanted to know how Shirou was able to obtain something that shouldn't have been possible anymore.

"I figured out a way to tap into the power of Wonder, not Mistery but Wonder."

"Now because this is something that has never been done before, I have no way of keeping the energy going. At best, all of the powers that existed in this world will be recharged until my plan is complete, and then that's it, they're gone," Shirou repeated the man's words.

"This spell will connect to every reality and it will take whatever power fuels it and use it to keep itself going. It will travel through time, grab onto whatever power existed back then, and maybe if we are lucky it will travel into the future and grab onto whatever is over there."

"The prize is a single wish."

"Think about it, the power to undo all the damage done to the world, or get whatever we want and the only thing that any of us have to do is be the last one standing." Shirou said to his grandfather who quickly stood up and walked towards his office.

Not knowing what to do or if he's allowed to do anything, he can only stare at his grandfather's empty chair, before he hears his grandfather's footsteps returning.

"Use this to summon your hero." his grandfather said to him as he dropped a large box in front of him, the box made a loud thump the moment it landed on the table.

"Kiritsugu deal with the other masters, Irisviel help him however you can." Shirou watched as his grandfather ordered his dad and mom before turning to look at him and Illyasviel who was eating her breakfast despite everything going on around her.

"You are involved in something greater than you can ever imagine boy, so you better not fail us.' his grandfather said to him before he opened the box and showed Shirou the sheath that was inside it.

"So let me see if I got this right, you and Shriou went to a bar and agreed to help some guy perform a spell." Rin repeats her sister's words as walks back and forth.

She can barely contain the chaos that she is feeling at the moment, she can feel her heart beating faster than it should have been possible as she looks at her sister's adopted family and their parents who are all listening to Sakura's story.

Rin exhales puts her right hand on her forehead and looks Sakura in the eyes, she is afraid to hear Sakura answer but she has to ask the question.

"Sakura tell me that you didn't agree to all of this just because you wanted to pass the time with Shirou." She asks Sakura who turns her head so that she doesn't have to look at her.

"I can't believe this!" Rin says as she waves her hand in the air before she spins three times and looks at Sakura again.

Magecraft was supposed to be a lost art, and the mages had been forced to become Wizards so that they could access the supercomputer that was inside the moon.

"Enough!" Zouken Matou, the father of the man who had adopted Sakura yelled at her before he stood up.

'What we have here is an opportunity, the person who cast the spell left too many openings, and those same openings are being taken advantage of by everyone who has a brain." he says to everyone before he lifts his right hand and points at both Sakura and Rin.

"Normally it would be beneath me to rely on " The man stopped talking but everyone in the room knew that he was saying something insulting to the two of them.

"Anyway, the two of you will enter this war and see it through to the end, if you're lucky then one or both of our families will be able to reach the Root, but I doubt it." he says to Rin and Sakura while ignoring the fact that Rin hadn't been chosen for the war.

The old man begins to laugh as his body turns and twists itself in a disgusting way that makes it hard for everyone in the room to keep themselves from vomiting.

"What do you mean?" Rin hears her father ask the ancient magus.

"It's simple." the twisted form of the old man turns to look at her father.

"Think about it, that man says that his research is incomplete and yet it was able to reconnect everything.

Mystery is something that's supposed to lose its power when Humans understand how things work and yet." the old man says to her father as the room begins to fill with insects.

"A new path has been opened and I won't squander it." Zouken says to her father before his body begins to fall apart.

Rin can only watch as the insects that made the old man's body leave the room.

"Yeah, so now that the old man is gone, I have a question is the war supposed to be a secret?" Shinji Sakura's adopted brother asks them while he looks at the TV.

"It's supposed to be a secret, but I don't think that the one that contacted us cares about that." Sakura answers her adopted brother as she walks up to Shinji who waves at everyone so that they can see what he's looking at.

Rin can see the line that shows how high the volume of the TV is, the first thing that she hears is the sounds of gunfire, followed by the screams of dying men and women before what sounds like explosions.

Rin can't help but glare at what she sees, as a man who's using what looks like a lance is fighting with an augmented person.

The sounds of gunfire fill the room as the two men fight one another before they turn and kill the police officers who are trying to stop them.

Eventually, all of the chaotic noise begins to blend and somehow becomes a kind of horrifying music that forces her to watch the ongoing battle.

It's clear to her that the augmented Human has lost his mind, as the prosthetics that he used to replace his weak human body were too much for his mind to handle.

Rin knew that the man was called a Cyber psycho, because of this.

While she watched the fight, she began to understand just how much she had been left behind by the rest of the world.

As a Magus, she had avoided using any appliances that weren't necessary for her to live, the reason for this was that whenever anything beyond the level of technology that it took to use a rotary phone came in contact with mana.

The thing just exploded, but ever since the world lost its mana she was forced to learn everything that took everyone else years to learn.

The Cyber psycho raised his shotgun to the spear user's chest and yet his target vanished before he could fire it.

The mad man who was more machine than man, used his left hand to catch the spear that his opponent tried to pierce his chest with, before using the super strength that his prosthetic granted him to pull the Lnacer towards him.

Now that she had seen the two men fight, she knew that the person that the Cyber psycho was fighting was no one else but the Heroic Spirit that fell under the Lancer class.

Lancer quickly twisted his body and threw several powerful kikes at the man's head but the man used his right hand to block them.

Rin watched as the man's gun exploded in his hand because of the power behind Lancer's attack.

The two men stopped fighting as a group of heavily armed soldiers surrounded them.

Rin watched as both men vanished before the soldier's bodies seemed to become weightless before they exploded into a mist of blood.

It was clear to everyone who was watching the fight, that neither man had any intention of ending the battle, and yet before a military career arrived Lancer vanished leaving his opponent behind to deal with the soldiers.
onent behind to deal with the soldiers.

The sound of Sakura's cell phone ringing caught everyone's attention. "Hellow Shirou, yes I'll head right over." Rin heard Saukra say to Shirou before she started to walk towards the door.

'Stop." their father ordered her sister.

"I won't allow you to go see him, right now the two of you are enemies in this war, so you should stay away from him." their father says to Sakura who looks at him with pain-filled eyes.

"Don't listen to him go see what he wants, but I'm coming with you." Shinji says to Sakura before he stands up and walks up to her.

Rin wanted to tell Sakura that their father was right, that this was a Grail War, something that forced all of the people involved to kill each other.

"Rin go with them." her mother orders her, but while her mother's words sound strict Rin can hear how worried she is.

"Mom?" she says to her mom who smiles warmly at her.

"Sakura isn't a part of your family so we can't order her to obey us, but we can make sure that she's safe." her mom says to her.

Rin doesn't say anything as her mom's eyes aren't on her they're on Sakura who looks, even more, hurt than before.

Elsewhere...

In one of the few churches left in the city, a priest found himself looking at something that shouldn't have been possible anymore.

He found himself staring at a swirling vortex that was made of something familiar yet he had never seen or heard about anything like it before.

"Impressive isn't it." he heard the voice of his superior.

"What is it?" the priest asks his superior.

"It's easier if I explain what's happening, and what it has to do with that thing up there," Kirei answers him.

"Our past has connected with our present and if what that man said was true then there's a chance that our future is now amongst us." Kirei says to him, as he shows him his right hand which has three red glowing lines.

"I will be busy for a while so I need you to gather everyone from the church and show them the vortex, those that know what it is will know what to do."

"As for what's going on...Remember when you were young, and how there were stories about vampires- werewolves and all kinds of monsters?" Kirei asks him

"Yeah but those were just stories." he said to his superior.

"Then I suggest that you start believing in stories because you're in one." Kirei says to him as red light covers his hand and travels through his fingers before creating a sphere of energy that floats just above his right hand.

"But what does that have to do with the monsters of our past and that thing?" he asks his superior.

"To be so naive.' Kirei says to him.

"The world has several sides to itself, think of each side as another world but they are all a part of the world."

"Our side is ruled by Humans, which includes mages and everything that resembles us."

"Now imagine a place that's ruled by the fantastical creatures of our past, the things that couldn't torment us anymore because we defeated them, just because we grew in number."

"What you're looking at is a gate to one of those sides, one of those worlds. Now go get the others, I'll stay here until you come back." his superior says to him before he nods and runs out of the church.

Kirei listens to the door close and he is left alone to look at one of the few entrances to one of the most gateways into the labyrinth.

"I know that you're here." he says to someone that he can't see.

"Did you enjoy the show?" the voice of a man answers him.

"So I take it that you are lancers master?" kirei asks the man.

"No, if I was I would have called everyone." the man answers him.

"So why are you here, the fact that you haven't attacked me means that you aren't here to fight." Kirei asks the man who never named himself.

"I was curious, that shouldn't have happened. I knew that by recharging everything, something would come back but not this." the man says to him as he appears next to him.

"The Laberith, a place where a dead apostle was imprisoned." Kirei says to the man, as they both look at the vortex pulse as its prisoners screams inside of it.

Neither man says anything, and silently watch the vortex, grow and shrink, it's only when the silence inside the church becomes unbearable that they finally start to talk again.

"So do you have any ideas what else I might have brought back?" the man asks Kirei.

"Everything." Kirei answers the man.

"Believe it or not, the church still has quite the information network and there are reports... Let's just say that you started something that you aren't able to stop anymore." kirei answers the man.

"It's that bad" the man asks him.

"The clock tower, the church, and a few other organizations only exist because their members still have some power left in them but they were all shells of what they once were."

"Your actions have caused those same shells to come to life, all of those groups have their eyes on this city and more specifically you." Kirei answered him.

Kirei doesn't say anything as he watches the man type something into his phone and then send it. He immediately receives a text message that says that he has until midnight to summon his hero.

"Why midnight?" he asks the man.

'Why not?" the man answers him before he vanishes again.

"Sakura over here!" Sakura hears Shirou as he tries to get her attention.

She was still nervous about coming to the city, even if she had learned to use technology, she still wasn't used to the same technology that everyone else was comfortable with.

The world around her is full of cars that fly, billboards that aren't connected to anything, and move when someone stares at them for too long.

She on the other hand still uses a Nokia cellphone that seems to be indestructible, but considering that it doesn't show any videos, play music, or have any games on it, most of the kids at school think that she is some sort of Edgerunner.

She isn't, she doesn't even know what an edgerunner is, but she knows that she isn't one.

"Shirou." Shinji says to Shirou as they walk up to him.

"So... what's up?" Shirou asks them as he looks at their group.

"We're here to make sure that you aren't planning anything." she hears Shinji say to Shirou before Sakura feels a pair of hands grab her.

She turns and sees Shinji who seems to have a mischievous grin on his face.

"Catch." Shinji says to Shriou before Sakura feels herself unwillingly running into Shirous arms.

'What the hell man?" Shirou says to Shinji.

"Greate now that you caught her I'll tell my dad and the old man that you gave up on the war in exchange for Sakura." Sakura can't help but stare at her adopted brother before she turns to look at Shirou who looks just as confused as she does.

"What?" Shirou asks her brother.

"It's simple, Sakura likes you. You like having Sakura around, and this is a fight to the death."

"You give up on the fight, you and Sakura don't have to kill each other."

"If what I said is too much for you, sorry but I can't use simpler words" Shinji explains to Shirous.

"No." Sakura can't help but feel the pain of being rejected by Shirou, because he didn't hesitate.

"I mean even if I give up what good will it due, I mean the game hasn't even started yet"

Sakura can't help but sniff, she knows that Shirou is right, but it doesn't change the fact that he rejected her.

"Hey, how long are you going to hold her?" Rin says to Shirou before Sakura feels her sister pull her away from Shirou.

"Anyway, Sakura do you have any idea about what we are supposed to do?" Shirou asks her, but before she can answer she hears her phone ring once.

She reaches into her pocket and reads the message in it.

"So we have until midnight to summon our servants then after that it's everyman for himself." Shirou says to himself.

'It wouldn't kill him to explain everything." he says to himself before Shinji takes Shioru's phone away and presses a button.

"Hey, what are you doing?!" Shirou yells at Shinji before he starts to chase after him.

"Hellow, yeah, I was hoping that you could explain everything again," Shinji says to someone before he stops walking and puts the speaker on so everyone can hear the man explain everything.

"Sure, but give me a second it's better if everyone hears this." they hear the man say before they hear the sound of a phone ringing, and several people answer.

"Okay, I'll explain a few things. To summon your servant either cast a spell, or pretend to cast a spell, and by that, I mean either copy something that you saw on TV or you made up."

"The goal is to kill the other servants, and yes the masters can be attacked."

"Waite!" Shirou protests.

"The masters control the servants, get rid of the master get rid of the servant, it's a useful tactic."

"No one says that you have to do it, so don't bother complaining because I'm explaining things."

"Now the reason why the rules are so loose is because I am using wonder and before you ask not even I know what it is."

"Before you say that what I did is irresponsible what other option was there?"

"I needed something that all beings felt and then I found a woman watching her baby take its first steps, that feeling of wonder is felt by everyone and everything."

The A. I when it first becomes aware of itself, the insect that suddenly learns to fly or the bird that realizes that it can stay in the air without the tree branch that kept it safe."

"This feeling connects everything, but it's not alone, because it wasn't going to be enough."

"Think of the horror movies that people watch, or why people do crazy things like jumping off buildings or being shot just for fun."

"I tapped into the wonder of fear."

"I can't explain it, because I don't understand it completely, and because I don't understand it, there are a lot of rules that are not being kept."

"Look around you and tell me if you don't find plants growing out of the cracks in the streets." They hear the man say, and to their shock, they find that several plants are growing through the cracks in the sidewalk and street.

"My plan is working, the planet is healing."

"...For anyone that has any doubts about this, I have just two questions."

"There used to be something called a Holy Grail war, and I tapped into that power."

"So how could I tap into a power that should have already died out?"

"Answer, the energy was kept in a separate dimension, that could be accessed by anyone that knows where it is."

"Second question, how could that kind of power be kept under control before it is used?'

"Answer, you make sure to spread it out."

"Why do you think I asked everyone to go to the edge of the city, all of you were antennas that I used to scatter that energy into the world."

"Waite that doesn't make any sense." Rin protests.

"If what you said is true then wonder should have been more than enough, why use the grand grail?" she says to the man.

'You, I don't know you, but I will still answer." they hear the man say to Rin while pointing out that she shouldn't be here.

"Because I didn't know if it would be enough, so I tapped into something that I was expecting didn't exist anymore and ended up with a lot of power that is barely being kept in check." he says to Rin.

"If what you said is true then wouldn't it have been better to contact seasoned magus or just do this with people that you knew?"Sakura asks the man.

"I needed people that never used a spell before, or felt like they would never cast another spell."

"I needed the participants to feel wonder, not before the game, but when I cast the spell to set things in motion. Remember how all of you felt that night and tell me that you didn't feel your breaths taken by that moment."

"A moment of wonder, that was felt by everyone involved."

"A seasoned mage would just shrug and say. Of course, the spell worked why wouldn't it? But all of you...All of you are special, and it's because you are special that only you can have the honor of this last great war."

They all hear the man hang up before the sound of everyone else hanging up their phones follows.

'What now?" Shirou asks everyone.

"Now the two of you summon your servants\ heroes." Rin answers Shirou, but before she can say anything else the world around her starts to spin and they all vanish from sight.

Unbeknownst to all of them, Illya Shirou's older sister sends a wave of mana into the cameras and microphones that had recorded everything and erased the moment from the public records.

She sends another wave and smirks when the smell of burning flesh reaches her.

"One last great game." she repeats the man's words.

"That girl was too caught up in the moment to realize that you admitted to your mistake."

"This power, wonder," she says as she looks at the energy that now fills the air.

"You didn't expect it to reach the Great or Grand Grail, and even if you did you didn't expect it to be full of power."

"How foolish, you left so many loose ends, and now everything is out of control." she says to herself before she walks towards a nearby store that has something that caught her eye the other day.

"You were lucky that I was summoned when I was?" Gloria hears someone say to her but her eyes are so heavy that she can't see who it is.

"What happened?' she asks the stranger before a wave of warmth fills her body.

"You were attacked by someone. You weren't their target but you ended up being caught in it." the stranger answers her, his voice is deep and it has a small grow to it.

Gloria can't help but ask herself if the man has forgotten how to feel joy in his life.

The door slams open and someone orders everyone to put their hand in the air and get on their knees, but the room falls silent as quickly as it has become loud.

"It can't be.' she hears someone say the person's voice is full of disbelief.

"Put your weapons down or none of you are making it out of here alive." the stranger says to the ones who forced their way into the room.

Gloria wants to scream, she wants to demand that someone tell her what's going on and what happened to her son. A warm hand squeezes hers, and she hears David say that everything is okay.

Her heart slows down and she feels herself being able to breathe again, her lungs burn. If she was able to she would have laughed, just a few hours ago she was running from one place to another with hardly any sleep, and now look at her.

She was out of breath and she hadn't gotten out of bed.

"I want this room watched no one except for him and me is allowed to be here unsupervised." Morgan Blackhand orders the soldiers, who look at each other while not knowing what to do.

Morgan Blacjkahand should be dead and yet the man in front of them is not only alive but young again. They have better equipment and training that surpasses anything that the man in front of them ever had.

Despite all of this none of them felt as if they stood a chance of making it out alive if they disobeyed the man's orders.

"David we're leaving. Don't worry about your mom she will be better by the time you come and pick her up." Morgan says to David before leading his master to one of the few places that he knows are still safe despite not being used.

"What?" he asks someone who somehow manages to contact him through his cyberwear.

"If you want answers wait until midnight after that make sure that everything in this city is shown to the world. I want every fight to be seen, empty my bank account if you have to."

"Yes it will be that exciting." he says to the talking head that was on the other side.

"He said midnight right?" Morgan asks David who nods at him.

"Why did you tell them to wait until midnight?" David asks him.

"Because that's when the bell rings and the dogs of war are let loose."

"Tell me do you think that any of the other masters will care about hiding after that."

"This city is about to be at war with us and itself." Morgan says to David as they open the door and see the orange-colored sky. The sun is starting to go down and time is running out.

"What's your wish?" Morga asks David who looks down and says that he doesn't have one.

"If you don't have one now then just ask for something that's a miracle or you or someone that you care about."

"Like what?" David asks him.

"I don't know wish for your mom to be healthy again or wish that the attack never happened. Hell wish that your dream or her dream comes true." he answers David.

They finally reach the warehouse and by looks of it, it's still being used to keep all of the outdated weapons that no one buys anymore.

People would say that guns, poisons, and explosives can't just be thrown away, those people are wrong this warehouse is proof of that.

He leads his, master into the warehouse past giant crates and small boxes each one holding something that people would have killed to get their hands on or used to kill someone with.

He stops when he sees what he is looking for. He picks up a small box and sees a pair of combat knives and a thin black sword.

At one point they were the most advanced weapons, and they probably still are bout no one uses them because no one is dumb enough to use a sword while they are fighting people using guns or rocket launchers.

"Use these to keep yourself safe." he says to David who stares at him as if asking why he was being given these things when they were surrounded by guns and explosives.

"It takes practice to know how to use a gun and reload it. And I don't trust you with explosives." he says to David before shoving the box into his master's chest.

"Morgan what's wrong?" his master asks him.

"You can't feel it but it's starting." Morgan says to David as he feels the world take a deep breath if he had to describe the sensation. He would compare it to someone desperately gasping for air after they had stopped breathing.

In a place where none mages could ever hope to step into Shirou, Rin, and Sakura stood as the elders of their families glared at them. They were the ones who had created the Grail War, so they knew how to alter it if they had to.

The planet gasped for air, for mystery, for the very thing that gave old magus their power, it greedily drank from oceans that had long since dried, it pulled water from worlds that still existed but would never touch it.

Rin's hands burned as the seal of a master carved itself into her hand her magic circuits burned as they refilled, her voice joined Sakura and Shirou as they screamed as the memories from different timelines entered their minds drowning them and nearly making them lose who they were.

All over the planet images of behemoths rising from the ocean, underground, volcanoes, and flying in the sky fill the net but when people go to look for them they are nowhere to be seen.

In space dozens of eyes look upon the earth and laugh, something wonderful happened. Something that shouldn't have happened had happened and it was causing a chain reaction.

Not even the beings of the beginning and the end knew what would happen next for this had never happened before.

The rain fell as the wind shattered the glass windows of every building that didn't have reinforced glass that could resist a bomb exploding next to it.

In the dump Kirei stands next to an open grave, the corps has long been gone it was probably stolen by someone but he doesn't need it.

"This might be your only chance to rise once more and fight for mankind!"

"I call to you God's monster! Fight for us once more!" he says before a lightning bolt hits the grave and the mad laughter of a man can be heard.

In the alleys of the city something slitherd, it grows in power as it feasts on the filth that fills the city streets, to it the bodies of the living and the dead are nothing more than food.

On top of Arasaka tower Lancer and his master smile, their hands dripping with blood that is being washed away by the rain. The building beneath them was silent for the first time in years, all of the people inside had died at their hands and the hands of Assasin and his mater.

Shirou, Rin, and Sakura scream as they reach for their servants it doesn't matter if the role of the servant has already been chosen by another they would have their fighters and would win this war.

The storm calms itself and when the clouds are gone it's almost as if it had never been there.

The man who started all of this smiles as the videos of the storm fill the internet of the city while the scared people living in it rush home or to work before something else happens.

His servant materializes next to him as the sound of helicopters and military flying machines pass over them while soldiers and police officers violently force the scared people to their knees.

"Not yet.' he says to his servant while he looks at his watch and sees that it hasn't struck twelve.
