Beacon.

Founded eighty-years ago after the Great War, the academy was the beacon of hope for Vale against the ever besieging army of Grimm. Huntsmen, the stuff of legends, are born every year. Protecting those behind the walls from the front, and protecting those innocent by destroying those not-so-innocent. They are heroes, legends, and it's the most revered profession in the world despite it having such a high fatality rate.

And you're going to join their ranks. Well, soon. You need to finish your education in Beacon first... during which, you may or may not die beforehand. Well, stop all the grim speculation! You're...

[] The Strong and Silent
You're tough, strong, and intimidating. You are not, however, talkative. You don't possess any decent social capability at all. It's sad, but you don't mind. Why the hell would you need to talk when pommeling them black and blue to the ground is better and quicker?

[] The Odd Fellow
People liken to think that they understand you, but they never do. You do things some people normally wouldn't do, and you do things some people normally would do. It confuses them. Personally, you don't know why you're confusing them, really. It simply makes sense in your head. Though you won't lie that sometimes you do things because you're in the mood to do them.

[] The Delinquent
People call you unruly. A waste of space. Hah! Like you give a damn. You ain't conforming to the rules of others! You gonna follow your own damn rules. They're either gonna hate it, or like it.

[] The Ex-Criminal
You're not going to say shit like 'repenting' or some other excuse for why you're leaving the underworld. It's a simple matter of changing occupation. Sure, it's one that will be the death of you, but it's definitely better than working with the other criminals. Besides, it's about time your boss lets you go.

[] The Hero
You strive to be a hero. To be the kind of huntsman that won't hesitate to help and protect the innocents, while punishing those that are evil. It's not because you want the fame or the adoration, but because you simply are. The road to be a hero is a hard one to walk, but it is nonetheless the one that you chose.

[] Write-in (Subject to QM's Veto)

Truly, you will be a fine addition to the increasing—and decreasing—roster of Huntsmen around the world! But speaking of, you're obviously a…

[] Male
[] Female
Unlike a certain someone, I don't dislike writing a female

Moving on, now that you've decided with your general personality and gender identity, let's talk about the most important thing. Who are you?

[] Name? (Must be colour themed)
[] Appearance? (Picture or description)
[] Faunus or Human?

I've heard and seen better. But moving on from names and looks, we should talk about your special ability. Or as the general public has decided, your Semblance:

[] Poison Touch: The touch that kills. Your semblance gives you the power to imbue your touch with any poison you've encountered with. Currently, you have paralysis and a considerably deadly if slow toxin. It… doesn't make you immune to poisons—at least to those you haven't encountered—and you still need skin contacts to apply it. But perhaps you could make it better...

[] Purple Flame: The ability to Propagate. It's an odd, if versatile Semblance. Cued with warm purple flame, you could use it to propagate nearly everything in cost of your Aura. From muscle mass to tiny objects like jewels. You could also propagate the object's properties, but they are exhaustive and only a shadow of their real self. You… could propagate your Aura, though it would cause a strange reaction where your Aura would get stronger but it would also get empty quicker. That said, you could feel that you could make it better…

[] Green Hand: Your Semblance is simple enough, if easily underestimated. With it, you could grow any plant as long as you're close to land. Harmless plants from a normal sunflower, to the more dangerous like a maneater. Currently, you only have a handful collection of plants you could grow, but with time, you're sure you could grow more...

[] What? It's not any of those? Well, then write it here (Write-in is subject to QM's Veto)

Heh. Pretty interesting, isn't it? Well, pretty much all Semblances are interesting in one way or another, so don't feel special, you hear? Now, about your weapon!

[] Weapon?

Alright, now that that's done—one last question. How the heck did you get into Beacon?

[] Through the standard process. You know, referrals from a Combat School, basic combat exam… [Locked from Ex-Criminal]

[] Passed the advanced combat exam, since you never went to a Combat School.

[] Someone who's less than reputable got you in, for... reasons.

[] You cheated!

Great! You can finally start your life in Beacon. Good luck, don't die, and if you want to be a hero, die like a hero. Ciao.

A/N: If it's not obvious, this Quest is ripped copied heavily inspired by Rhomeo's quests, and I've been given his most expressed permission to make this quest. Yes, I'm most aware that there's going to be a Faker joke somewhere along the line.

Rhomeo AN: THIS GUY IS A FAKER AND I'M TOTALLY OKAY WITH THAT <3

Ciana's Semblance allowed him to perceive things that others cannot. While it's activated, Ciana's eyes will take hue of blue with a tinge of red in the center. Currently, with his eyes, Ciana could use it for:

Death Perception: When activated, Ciana can perceive death. Within the visual sign of Lines of Death on objects and living beings around him, Ciana could cut them bereft of any force. Cuts resulted by this will be rendered dead. While using the eyes drain the Aura slowly, it will give Ciana a debilitating headache if used for a long time. Oddly enough, however, you feel as though there's still something that Death Perception could do...

Unskilled - You don't even know this is a thing you can do. [-30]
Horrendous [Requires 100 XP] - You know this is a thing you can do. [-20]
Disappointing [Requires 200 XP] - You can do this. Undependably. [-10]
Mediocre [Requires 300 XP] - You're not good, and but not bad. But you're still leaning on the bad side. [-5]
Average [Requires 400 XP] - You are average in this skill. [0]
Above Average [Requires 500 XP] - You are competent in this skill. But nothing worth mentioning. Expected level of Combat School Graduates [+5]
Skilled [Requires 500 XP] - Barriers are being broken down and things that are beyond normal humans start here. Expected level of someone attending Beacon Academy. [+10]
Expert [Requires 600 XP] - In combat you start to become a blur, in academic matters your knowledge is almost encyclopaedic. [+15]
Master [Requires 700 XP] - You have effectively mastered the skill; you can't push any further, surely...? Expected level of someone graduating from Beacon Academy. [+20]
Grand Master [Requires 900 XP] - The highest possible level of skill for the 'average Hunter'. [+25]

Mythical [Requires 1500 XP] - Are you even human? [+40]

Divine [Requires 3000 XP] - Just what are you, anymore? [+60]

Alright, Omakes. Good stuffs. It's like... if comments and likes are the luxury of fanfiction/quest writers, then Omakes would be the luxury stuffs. Cars. Mansions. Jewels.

Hence why Omakes will be rewarded exquisitely.

Of course, it would also be rewarded accordingly. Rewards depend on the content of said Omake, and could either be bonus traits, events, or simple Kudos. I'm not exactly picky about it, but I would be a tad miffed if you post 5k words of grammar errors and shit.

Now, random chance in Quests has screwed me over enough times that I'm putting a safeguard system in.

Combat will be a clash of D100's with, initially, no modifiers. For every level of difference in skill, however, the higher party will get bigger bonuses and the other party will get bigger negatives. After five levels of difference, the lower skilled party will instantly lose the confrontation.

This assures that you can't take on people above your paygrade (Although with your base Skills only boss-level opponents would be any real threat to you).

As the Quest goes on and you spend more time with people as a whole, your barriers to increase in relationship level with increase as well. First impressions last for your first three social interactions with someone unless a significant period of time passes (About a month in Quest), in which you can effectively switch someone's opinion of you from one side of the spectrum to the other during that time frame. After the three interactions are down, or the month is up, their relationship with you becomes a lot more solid, meaning it's far harder to sway them one way or the other.

Obviously people will prefer to spend time with you doing different things. If you invite Yang out to hang out in Vale you'll receive bonuses, or asking Weiss to study with you in the library. That sort of thing.

- Reroll a Skill roll (1 Kudos)
- Give a flat bonus to a roll (1 Kudos)
- Learn a person's name by giving a brief description of them (1 Kudos)
- Reroll somebody else's roll (2 Kudos)
- Get a specific person's character sheet posted (2 Kudos - Specify who)
- Reroll a Global roll (3 Kudos)
- Influence someone's opinion of you (3 Kudos - Specify who and how)
- Gain a random trait! (10 Kudos)
- ??? (25 Kudos)
- ??? (50 Kudos)
- Unlock an aspect of Clairvoyance (75 Kudos)

Just to be sure, this is Nanaya, right? Picture and background say yes, but... gotta be sure.

[x] Rhomeo

I feel like this is payback for us picking Shirou. So fuck yeah lets drag Type-Moon into remnant again!

Let's see if my vote can attract attention...

[x] The Wanderer
- As a child, you longed to see the world in all its splendor as a Hunter. Yet, no matter how many times you tried, your family always barred your path. Eventually, you grew sick of their coddling and in one moonless night, you ran away with a small bag full of clothes, several days worth of supplies, a knife and a handgun to dissuade Grimm. You haven't regretted your decision since. Now, five years later, you find yourself on your way to Beacon looking to take your first step as a Hunter with a heart full of fire and a determined smirk.

[x] Male

[x] Grau Stehlen
[x]
[x] Human
[x] Unbound - Grau's Semblance manifests as his desire to do what he wishes without others constraining him; the ability to remain unaffected by other Semblances. This effect only applies directly unto himself and no-one else.

[x] Vielzweck
- In essences, Vielzweck is a sturdy briefcase three feet long that can mecha-shift into multiple forms with the press of a button or a shift in Grau's Aura. Among the forms it can transform into are:
-- A Dust enhanced broadsword
-- A Dust enhanced spear
-- A Dust enhanced axe
-- A Dust enhanced warhammer/mace
-- A Dust enhance shield
-- An assault rifle
-- A shotgun
-- A sniper rifle
-- A grenade launcher

[x] Passed the advanced combat exam, since you never went to a Combat School.

[x] The Odd Fellow (note: suddenly vicious in combat, especially when surprised)
[x] Female
[x] Corbeau Corbeau

[x] Faunus, Badger
[x] Joker Balance - Corbeau may relocate her center of gravity to any point on her person instantly and always has an innate understanding of the physical forces working on her body eg. Gravity, momentum etc.
[x] Descartes & Kant - Paired hand axes which both transform into sawn-off shotguns. Generally one is loaded with typical scatter-shot and the other is loaded with solid slugs.
[x] Through the standard process. You know, referrals from a Combat School, basic combat exam… (Though you were an oddball and a Faunus to boot, none of your teachers could deny your talent for combat)
