So I got very bored, dug up my old copy of emerald and dived straight into a Nuzlock. My original plan was to tell whoever would listen about my adventures.
Except I won'tbore you with the irrelevant, because:
Impossible bad luck party wiped me at the second gym.
My plan went as this: My strongest pokemon would go in first and do things. What things was irrelevant because it was outsped and onehit by a pokemon half his level without type advantage. The hell?
So down my strongest fighter, my original plan was ashes.
But no worries! I'm cautious, I have backup plans. Sure, only one works because how could I predict my strongest pokemon getting one shot but hey, that's what my panick button plan is for.
So I send my second strongest Birdie in the field and use my final panic option:
All the double teams. I knew that the enemy would use the oppertunity to buff up, but why would I care? I'd have six doubleteams up and recover from this desaster. It's not like I can run.
So I put up my six doubles teams, smile in relief knowing that my cheesing ass is safe and...
stare in shock as the enemy hit's three attacks in a row and kills my Birdie.
Welp. That's game. All of my other pokemon aren't ready to deal with fighting types, especially not with a hyper buffed one, as the enemy had been raising attack the entire time.
I even reloaded to check if that would happen again (I wasn't going to continue either way, I just wanted to know) only to find that any of my plans would easily sweep the fucker!
So yea, kinda annoyed right now.
What the hell. Was that a bug or insane RNG.
