Shielded by some spell that deflected the attentions of any who would know the truth of the matter and saw their words twisted away from exposing him, it was only now that you had a path to see his shield breached, to know what needed to be done to cast down the protection that would see his killers run down by the best and mightiest of the valley. It was only now that you learned of the warrior he was crafting, to turn against you all--an expert wielding the power of Water, strong enough to erode a stone troll in moments. And you still needed to discover the place where he worked his darkest arts, in order to see him cast beyond the Law, and exposed to our righteous vengeance.
