Eh, at least Sheffield would have been a controllable factor - ultimately she just wanted to be loved by Joseph, and she was good at being the Mind of God. This new OC(?) that may as well be female European Saito at first glance though, yeah it'd derail canon further than Shade's existence in ZnT - at least Henry was somewhat following the rails/events while changing them, instead of making new events like the new OC would likely cause. Finally time for things to go wrong? (I wouldn't know, this is only the 2nd story by Shade I follow, I have no idea how accurate the memes/tags of this story are.)

Mallard is actually the English form of the word. It is derived from the Old French word mallart, which is itself derived from the Latin mallardus. The irony here is that it is the masculine form of the word, and Anne clearly would not be described as male :rolleyes:

I assume you made her French because that is the language spoken in Halkeginia. If you wanted that included in the pun then Anna's last name should be Mallart (or Malart), not Mallard.

Actually English picked up Mallard when French nobility ruled the country.

And she's not the first Mallard to step through a portal, there was a TV series some time back with a Quinn Mallory!

Edit: Oops! Don't know why I thought Mallory was Mallard.

Hey. That's interesting. The 100th Chapter coincides with complete, total canon-derailment.

Still though, Henry is going to have to work hard to get Anne through this very, rough patch in her life. Hell, she does not even have the Academy as a smokescreen like Saito did.

Actually, being not-that familiar (heh) with ZnT, what are the abilities of the Mind of God?

She can use any magic items, be it Elven, Human, or spirit forged (activate and deactivate them with a thought) Canon Mioz had a ton of magic artifacts so she could somehow combat enemies and avoid getting killed.

For example, She could easily feel the magic on the cross Josette used to change her appearance and turn it off from a distance.

Same for the one Tiffania is using. She could also feel Tiffanias mother ring and use it herself as well.

Now that this has happened though we get to see just how much 'Henry' has changed. Also im interested in seeing if he will reveal he from earth as well, thatd be... and interestimg conversation.

It exists, try looking up Mahou Shoujo Pretty Bell. The main character is a body builder who takes the magical girl's transformation wand and does the transformation himself so the young girl doesn't have to fight. (Warning: contains big muscular man in a magical girl outfit that is too small and flexes to use his magical attacks.) Of course the real magical girl ends up transforming later on and turns out to be stupidly overpowered.
 
...well, Joseph did ask for someone as useless as him. Though I didn't think the summoning would have taken that so literally. Hopefully it didn't, because watching someone who is a fool does kinda make me cringe in that oh-god-why-is-she-so-stupid manner.

Joseph asked for a familiar as useless as him. But with the void, he isn't entirely useless, just useless at everything outside of his specialty. So what is this girl hyper-competent in?
