And once again, tree leaves shall bud anew."

"No! I'm a certified Genin now, see the head band?"
"Naruto! Get to your seat!"
"Fine, fine, sorry Sensei…"
"Now that you're finished disrupting class we can continue graduation. Where were we?"
Iruka Sensei takes a quick moment to glare at the laughing, lounging, and chittering students, which quickly brings the noise to a minimum. Seemingly happy with the situation, he resumes assigning teams.
"Team seven, your team consists of Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto Uzumaki, and Sakura Haruno. Your Jonin Sensei is Kakashi Hatake."
It takes Sensei a brief moment to get the complaining to stop before he continues again. You knew you'd be happy to make Genin, but you didn't realize you'd be this happy to get away from Naruto, at least for a bit.
"-and you're in last place, Naruto. That's why… Now quiet down!"
"Idiot."
"The last team will be Team four, with Kiba Inuzuka, Ryusei Gekko, and Ahma. Your Jonin Sensei is-"
Iruka Sensei just called you! It's time to prove what real ninjas are made of. In due time everyone will know the name…

[ ] Your name is Kiba Inuzuka, the most badass beast in Konoha. You may not be the smartest, or even the most talented… But you just know when you get your Ninken you'll be a force to be reckoned with!
+ Legendary Perception stat and moderate Insight. He can feel Naruto's prank coming a mile away. Ahma is in for a treat. He can also hear the shinobi in the hall, and the academy students in the yard, and merchants sell- you get the idea.
- Very weak Judgment stat. How can he hear bugs scuttling in Shinos coat, smell the smoke of a cigarette outside the building, and still not notice the consequences of his actions?
? Kibas talent with Ninken is the best Konoha has ever seen, he just has to get one. According to Kiba at least. This also means he has not gained his Ninken partners yet.
[ ] Your name is Ahma. You may be of foreign blood, but the great tree is what powers your heart and mind. With an S class parent at the head of your training you'll show them what the will of fire truly means.
+ Because Ahma has trained from a young age her base stat total will be higher than your average genin.
- Awful charisma stat… It's almost amazing how many times she can say the exact opposite of what she should.
- Ahma is an immigrant from the Land of Rain, and as such she is faced with immense distrust by most of the population.
? Starts with training in a Hidden Technique developed by one of Konoha's few S class ninja. Also Ahmas parent… who she can't stop bragging about. Constantly.
[ ] Your name is Ryusei Gekko, and you've finally taken the first step. You know you only have so long, so you're gonna become as strong as possible and find the cure you need. Even if you need to chop a few necks to get it.
+ Being born of the two total swordmasters of Konoha you think his talent in Kenjutsu would be good, but it's better than anyone could have imagined.
- Ryusei is crippled with a terminal lung disease, and will live to 30 at the most. It's presence taints every thought he has, and every action he takes.
- While he may get some training from his mother, she works in anbu and isn't around very much. Self training and instruction from his Jonin Sensei are what he's going to have for the time being.
? Ryusei is set to inherit the Gekko family heirloom, The Crescent Blade.

System mechanics
Stats consist of multiple sub stats that join to make the total. The stats are,
Vigor
-Strength
-Constitution
Control
-Agility
-Dexterity
Perception
-Detection
-Sense
Mind
-Intelligence
-Will
Judgment
-Wisdom
-Wit
Charisma
-Presence
-Insight
The rolling system is d10s, and each point in a stat gives you another d10 to roll.
There are also skills, each skill moves up to 9. To succeed on a roll our protagonist will have to roll a certain amount of successes set by the opponents roll/DC. They get successes by rolling under their skill number.
Example - Water Lee wishes to use the Hidden Vortex Technique on Maara of the Cloud. Maara of the cloud has the ultimate epic cloud defense though, so he must beat his roll.
Water Lee has a Control of 25 and a Taijutsu of 7. He rolls 25 d10s and gets 16 successes.
Garra, using a stat and skill your not gonna know about yet, rolls 15.
Water Lee does 1 damage base, from the difference in successes. He then performs the Hidden Vortex technique and its effects.
