She always laughed it off as 'no biggie' that she knew people didn't always come out perfectly, but she was quick to assure you it 'basically never' happened unless the Gendarme running it 'was an idiot'.

Certainly at least the sleep removal thing, so you could maximize time with Caras... but you felt it would be foolish to pursue this too much further when you got home. Neustadt had shown you how hostile people could be over the small differences you had right now: how might worse might things be if you looked at a glance more like a Breed yourself?
