    Today has not been special.

    You were sent away to spend the summer with an Aunt and tend to the family shrine in a town nobody had ever heard of.

    She was supposed to pick you up at the train station. That did not happen.

    Instead you were greeted by a hole, a [GAP] in reality filled with piercing eyes and pitch blackness where the doors should be.

    Welcome welcome everyone. Apologies for the shortest introduction ever but I wanted to start this before I had second thoughts(future updates will be much longer) Feel free to start posting.

    its a series of shoot me up bullet hell games. Taking place in the land of gensokyo. Knowledge there of is useful but not necessary.

    Nope! It would help with some knowledge but I'm running this to be as friendly as a touhou thing can be(sorrry fans of massive cast lists were not doing that).
    Spell cards are used in spell card duels. They are a crystallization of their owners soul rendered in patterns of danmaku(star bullets). While the patterns are large and complex they favor beauty over power and efficiency so no matter how strong or weak the opponent everyone has a chance.

    Think creatures born of belief, by nature they feed on awe, fear and raw antagonism with humans. In gensokyo they can more or less live peacefully with humans. That is to say they can live at all.

    Gensokyo is a place that exists outside the normal world. It is a sort of nature reserve for the fantastic and magical. A fantasy rendered mundane to survive in this boring world.

    Mine! That is to say the PC 98 games happened and your entrance will be analogous to the start of the windows era(aka current canon).

    If you know touhou I'm mixing things up, if you don't Then none of this means a thing and you're better off for it.

    You know your power exists and how to use it. though you don't have much but the basics down.

    You're fairly certain someone or something is causing them, but don't know how or why.

    You're honestly kind of new to actual magic.

    Reimu just to confuse people. Enlightenment because it sounds more interesting and less conventional than the other options. And throwing a stone in because I want to accidentally bean Yukari.

    I'm guessing that if there's two Reimus, them we'll end up with a nickname, like Ni-mu (Two-mu)

    Eep forgot to call it. So We will be closing them in about 13 houts(next time I'm free to write).

    Fairly certain that ties the power but I might be wrong. If that's so I'll roll an even odd. And shame on you guys not voting for the objects, I had some fun ideas cooked up. :p

    Yes, "fun". As in the Chinese "Interesting" way I'm sure. Not to mention if these are going to be what gives us our unique power(s), then i would prefer it to be something we can't lose.

    So unless the items are Soul-Bound and nothing can stop us from calling them back to us... *Shrug*
