Well, I've counted 14 votes so far. I'm amazed at how fast people found this and decided to join in! The vast majority of the votes end up leaning towards a +2 world, but the counting by line makes the world more likely to be either 0 or +1 overall, as The Ace has a tie for sub-type.

Currently, the votes rest at:

The Player: The Healer, The Bleeding Heart (Female (4/5 BH votes))

The Squad:
The Leader, The Diplomat (Female (3/5))
The Ace, (The Soldier/The Rising Star tie) (4 & 4)
The Agent, The Assassin (Female (4/7))

So yeah, very large skew towards female characters, though that does fit specifically with the expected data. Most of the votes could easily tip the scales here though, if several others choose to weigh in suddenly. I will keep the voting open for the rest of the day, and maybe even tomorrow. After that, the second post (and the first one with the real MC) will be under production. Anyways, that's all I've got for the time being, but even if I don't respond to any new updates here for a while, have a nice day! :)

As someone who was very intrigued by the whole concept Battle-Action-Harem-Highschool Side Character Quest used, I will certainly take this opportunity to participate in a quest for the first time.

Can...we....like....not have a only female squad lol...? Goddarnit SV. At least some of this is due to people who wanted to make a female harem around a male hero, and some is just basically not thinking about how it'll add up.

Maybe plans would have been better for this, considering the weird single votes that don't have any impact on the final...

Indeed. I shall do my utmost to learn from this gosh damn catastrophe. Especially the gender thing. That was a mistake on many levels. Also, I'll go back and count by Type, then by gender, rather than by both at once like I've been doing. Planning might be very helpful in future votes, so we'll have to keep it in mind. In other news, I started thinking everything up, so I hope to have it in writing within a day to get some beta/editing and then posted. I feel like it's a faster pace than I was expecting, but also slower than I actually want to be at. But whatever, I'll find what works, no worries!

I can respect your vote lol, but there were at least two people who voted for male protag, and then female cast down the line. Which kind of added up in the final count. Mainly I dislike this result because of balance issues, and i like actually having main male characters when I choose female protags. I don't just want girls down the line lmaoo.

Yeah, that was a bit of a mess. Also there's probably a better vote tally program compared to what SV gave us, so if anyone has access to that, that'll be nice, probably.

Probably not the best place to talk about this, but also I was thinking a lot more dystopia rather than humor. It's still good, I just pick things up and put them down a lot a lot.

Indeed. We had to roll for Leader, actually. The vote was a tie overall. We barely got male for Diplomat x.x.

Anywhoo, depending on how things go, they might seem more comedic or more dark. The world I've thought up can be very dark at times. The footing might be equal, but do not think that makes victory easy. Far from it, in fact.

The comedy is actually more behind the scenes than anything. I am capable of being very spazzy and/or stupid, so I can oftentimes screw things up. Like the voting system xD. And I'm not taking anything personally atm. I'm just happy to have made a thread interesting enough that people are willing to vote and comment. I want to show off this world I've been building, and I hope I can do so in a way that's fun for all of us :D

Gonna go back to thinking/writing/sleeping now.

Haha no worries, I was just curious. I'll freely admit it wasn't where I was expecting it to go, either; but that's just part of the questing experience, I imagine.

But yeah we should probably take this elsewhere, I think Plazma is getting a little confused by it :p
 
Well, the Assassin is supposed to be on the lookout for anyone who is really special, and both have quite special backgrounds. So perhaps you're right.

Also, I'm working on the update, but I have the last chapter test of the year in my chem class tomorrow, so I will have to put off finishing it and getting it edited until at least tomorrow.
