Dear Silas,
What makes a good smuggling ship and what modifications you would add to it to make it the best in the galaxy?
Also, what do you think you might be doing after the Clone Wars are done?
Silas: The good smuggling ships look like trash, junk, anything unremarkable so that an inspector passes it over. If you want to make it a
great ship though, then you need to make a lot of under-the-hood modifications. Better engines, tougher shields, things that wouldn't be noticeable at first glance but would make sure you'll live through the inevitable pirate attack or that you can outrun people.
As for after the war...hell, I honestly don't know. Retire to Zeltron, maybe? Haven't really thought about it too much with everything happening.
Ventress, if you had the opportunity to make one change to the Jedi Order, what would it be and why?
Asajj: Only
one? Hmph, if it is only one it would be for them to stop pretending that the Dark Side is something they can always avoid so long as they follow their Code. The Dark Side is
always going to be there no matter what, and deluding yourself into believing otherwise is only going to make it harder to deal with when you feel it within your for the first time.
Dear Thrawn.
What would your ideal vacation be?
Thrawn: While I appreciate the sentiment of the question, to be perfectly honest I can't conceive of going on a vacation, or at least not one like Lady Ciaran does. If I had to do
something it would probably involve a trip to a planet like Obora-Skai or the like - someplace quiet where I can study in relative peace.
Dear Ciaran,
What's your favorite food? Just a bit curious because I don't think it's ever come up.
Ciaran: I like Kaleesh food in general but I don't think I could narrow one thing down. Turns out that they know how to make filling and energizing foods, if only so they can fight more.
What's your opinion on Revan?
Ciaran: Heheh...if I gave you my full opinion, you'd be here all day. To make that much shorter I see him as a man who was able to reshape the galaxy through merely existing, and that in and of itself is absolutely incredible, isn't it? I do wish I knew more about him on a personal level though - sure I know about what he did but if there's anything I've learned from Kreia the
why is equally as important.
If you ever make a Holocron, what would you consider most important to teach whoever is using it?
Ciaran: Don't believe anyone who says they know the absolute truth of the Force, not even yourself. Because really you don't, and no one probably ever will. You'll find you'll understand it a lot better when you're not blinded by your own preconceptions.
Silencer, Grievous, this is something I've wanted to know for a long time now. Between the two of you, who is the better close combat fighter? I mean with melee weapons or hand-to-hand, specifically. You're both badasses, but I'm legitimately curious.
Silencer: Me unarmed. Grievous armed.
Grievous: Due to his training with the Thyrsians I am hardly ashamed to admit that the Silencer could easily defeat me in hand-to-hand combat. If weapons were introduced, then we would be roughly even in combat ability between my proficiency with my blades and his martial arts skills.
In your studies of the cultures of the galaxy, is there any in particular that stood out to you, besides your own culture, as particularly favorable or pleasing to you, whether that be in their art or in what that art represents?
Thrawn: Perhaps this is an expected answer, but I admit I have found myself fascinated by Mandalorian art in general. It is an oft-overlooked field of work in general since their culture is primarily focused on warfare and battle, but perhaps because of that I am more fascinated by the art that
was produced by them. Granted, most of it is about their superiority over their opponents, but the fact that it
exists is what matters to me.
Furthermore, how proud are you of Ashoka Tano, as a student? Given how she's grown as a commander and how she's been taking your lessons to heart, as well as the fact that I don't doubt you are an excellent teacher, I have no doubts that she has managed to make you proud to some degree.
Thrawn: Anyone could become a better commander if they're taught well enough. I am proud of Tano because she
listened and understood that I was not just trying to teach her how to win one single battle but how to lead troops, observe the galaxy around her, and so on. Even if the worst happens and Palpatine succeeds at initiating Order 66, if she survived I am certain she could lead a rebellion on her own.
Lastly, is there any particular individual or type of person which you despise? I am truly curious what sort of individual could earn your ire.
Thrawn: Simple. Those who are so short-sighted to believe that one's species is more important than their talents. I have no respect for such individuals - if you are skilled, then you should be allowed to use those skills to their fullest. No more, no less.
...One final question. Have you created any works of art yourself? Music, paintings, sculptures, etc. I need no pictures, though if you have any they would be appreciated, but as a man who appreciates art myself, for my own reasons, I am curious about what sort of art you might be personally responsible for.
Thrawn: Once - I created the painting 'The Tears of Caamas' - which currently resides in the Vault. Aside from that I admit that my duties have kept me from doing anything more than that, and the only reason that particular painting exists is because I was
inspired in a manner that many artists are when they create their work.
What is your opinion on the concepts of love and compassion? I ask this out of genuine curiosity, and it is something I asked most of my associates at some point after meeting them; I simply like to hear the various thoughts people of all walks of life have on the subject, and have yet not had the opportunity to ask one such as yourself.
Asajj: Hmm...that's...words have never been my specialty but I'll at least try to give a proper answer. It's...not a bad thing to be compassionate or loving, but...hmm...I've learned that even the kindest of words and intentions can be a curse to others if they don't have the chance to truly understand them. As terrible as it may sound, Ky's kindness - while well-intentioned and sincere - was a large part of why I lost myself after he died, and it's only now I understand what he tried to do for me. If that makes sense.
Nearly done with this quest (that took a lot of my time of the past week or two...), so time to join the fun.
@Priam:
You said, but it appears your abilities in the regard only rose by 50%. Was that a miscalculation, or the deception routines in action?
Priam: I'm confused. By what standards are you judging my increase in capability? I assure you that I have far more combat ability in my new body than in my old one.
@Dr. Snark:
Is "Versuch" in "Versuch Labs" meant as the German word for "Experiment"?
(If yes, note that "Experimental Labs" would be "Versuchslaboratorien" or "Versuchs-Labs". "Versuch Labs" sounds more like "Try Labs" ... now I imagine Yoda complaining they should be called "Do Labs" or "Do not Labs" instead.)
Yep! The name was decided way back when in the first quest.
Edit:
@Cheriss:
Why a Togruta?
(The front page says Torguta, btw.)
Cheriss: Um...I picked it at random honestly...a-and I thought the head thing looked neat.
Dear... Hmm... Jango.
How would you feel if Boba, when he's fully grown and just as badass as you, becomes partners with one of your clones and they both travel around the galaxy?
---
OCC: I really didn't know what I wanted to ask, so... I just asked this.
Jango: If there's one thing I've learned it's that my clones have wildly different personalities even if they have the same genes. So...it'd depend on the clone honestly. Aside from that I'm fairly sure Boba's going to get restless eventually and start wandering the galaxy whether I like it or not, so I plan on making sure he can handle himself before then.
Hey, Silencer if your creators hadn't tried the whole brainwashing thing and tried to buy your loyalty instead would you still have killed them?
Silencer: Maybe. Depends on other things they would have done.
Hey Thrawn, if you could go back in time to meet anyone from history who would you go meet and what would you ask them?
Thrawn: Revan, though I'm positive that is because of Lady Ciaran's influence on me and the encounter with...whatever that was in the Foundry. I know why he tried to use it, I know what he regretted, but I would like to know more about those people he mentioned in that recording. They were clearly far more important than mere soldiers.
Dear Borvo, What is your favourite food?
Borvo: Asking a Hutt if they have a
singular favorite food is a serious insult, good sir. ...I kid, but I am being serious when I say that Hutts don't have favorite foods. That implies that there are things we are served that we would not eat.
Dear Ciaran, what was your proudest moment?
Ciaran: I could give you a dozen inane answers but honestly...becoming Darth Traya, at least once it sunk in. All of the other things I've done could be done by someone else but
that is mine and mine alone, no matter what happens.
Ahsoka, from your current understanding of military forces and politics, which Republic military leader do you believe is the highest priority to subvert? Explain your reasoning and conjecture Palpatine's countermeasures. Signed, FeelingBlue.
Ahsoka: Sorry, but I can't narrow that down to one leader; right now the highest priority for subversion would be any unit attached to one of the members of the Jedi Council. Ensuring that the Coruscant Order has functional leadership in the aftermath of whatever happens is going to be the only way they're going to survive. Right now we've got the luxury of Palpatine not really knowing about us, but I'd suspect given what Yularen's told me that we'd be found out if we saw an increased casualty rate among subverted units and no way to confirm how they died - meaning CO troops are probably in the area.
(You really need to work on your pseudonyms. Even if that one was intentional.)
Well, this is clearly forged. After all, HK only ever uses the word meatbags.
...That's fair.
