Over the last thirty-ish pages, we've added 9 new omakes. Since we've already hit the cap for Turn 28, these bonuses count toward the cap for Turn 29.
We have now added 17 new omakes over the last 13 pages, giving us a total of 26 bonuses ready for Turn 29. This means we only need 18 more omakes to max out turn 29

These times were interesting to say the least for the man now known as Mand'alor. Jango would've never imagined that he would fall from rightful Mand'alor and proud Mandalorian warrior to a cynical bounty hunter only to be coaxed back into being the Mand'alor... by a criminal syndicate and counter-conspiracy against the Sith. Honestly, he couldn't care less about the Republic, the Jedi or the Sith as all of them had a hand in the destruction of his people and the death of Jaster Mereel, but after Ciarans revelations of his role in the galactic events and the Siths intentions that would end up with the Mandalorians crushed again or as pawns if they were to allowed to be ruled by the Deathwatch he had to act... besides, Thrawn brought up a lot of valid points during his visit.

Now here he was, training new Mandalorian Guardians, tempering their impulses and keeping their thirst for battle and glory in check in an attempt to turn them from an army intending to try to conquer the galaxy again to an army intend to defend their home and those in need honorably. It has been succesfull so far, as even the pacifistic New Mandalorians have arranged themselves with their existence and it has been encouraged to not isolate themselves into their own groups but to mingle with each other since even though they may have different ideologies they are all still Mandalorians.

It is an interesting shift in culture that now not only capabilities as warrior were the only thing respected, but also everything else as both ideologies support each other to some extent. Hopefully it works in the long-term and he would be able to prevent the Mandalorians from becoming aimless once the war is over, but at least the succession was ensured as Boba despite his youth was allready showing exceptional promise as he consistently beats trainees older than him. Besides, thanks to Zam Weesel in her disguise as 'Ciaran' he was also capable of exerting influence over the New Mandalorians as well if required.

Now, time to get back to training. The form of some of these recruits is attrocious!

Duchess Satine Kryze should be happy, although it felt quite problematic due to the ever looming presence of Lady Ciaran. The CNS had greatly expanded, was safe, stable and the economy of its members was recovering... not to mention that the unexpected threat of the Deathwatch had been suppresed and both she and Bo-Katan were sisters again even though their ideologies still couldn't be anymore different.

She hates to admit it, but she knew that Lady Ciaran was to be credited for the success as without her the CNS at worst would still be a group of a few systems in a corner of the galaxy... likely to be bullied by the Republic or CIS. Instead it was now a monument to peace, corporation and a mediator for various conflicts as proven by the Caamas Ceasefire. Even the Mandalorian Guardians have proven themselves to be honorable and live up to their name by at the very least renouncing any attempt to step into the shoes of their predecessors and Jango seems intent to keep it that way.

Its still quite obvious that Lady Ciaran is hiding things and greatly profiting from the CNS, but her humanitarian efforts and attempts to reduce the ferocity of the war had to be respected. Not that it would stop her from keeping an eye on Ciaran and oppose her if required, but still. Still, that is a thought for another time as reports keep arriving from various planets that require a mediator or help against either the CIS or the Republic. Not to mention that Obi-Wan is supposed to arrive later today... hopefully without Siri, although she admittedly is a very pleasant person and she could see why they used to be a couple...

Yoda was feeling his age more than ever. War consumed the galaxy, the Sith had returned after a thousand years of hiding, clearly proving the Jedis neglience and arrogance in believing that they had been eradicated, the Mandalorians have returned and are recovering their warrior culture and more proof of shortsightedness and failures of the Jedi Order is revealed constantly.

The Mandalorian Supercommandos. Innocent of the claims leveled at them and slain by the Jedi, playing directly into the hands of the Death Watch. The Jedi could only hope that Jango was honest with his declared intentions and would not hold a grudge.

The Huk-Kalee War. Where two Jedi were tricked into aiding a slaving empire in the extermination of the Kaleesh.

Count Dookus descent to the Dark Side. The most painfull loss amongst the Lost Twenty, although after the loss of both Komari Vosa and Qui-Gon Jinn it should have been obvious that the threat of him falling to the Dark Side existed.

The Return of the Sith. The most catastrophic of all those crisises...

The worst part being that all those situations were only the most recent and pressing as many minor issues were being uncovered. For all the good the Jedi do, their failures in recent times weigh all the more and the fact that the Force is clouded, rendering the future utterly uncerntain, simply puts the entire Order even more ill at ease.

Then there is the issue of Lady Ciaran. A true mystery. A young woman who has risen from nowhere to become one of the galaxies most influential socialite and businesswoman with a perchant to get herself involved in the matters of the Jedi constantly for good and ill. Her actions have revealed various failures of the Order, but also aided them in the aftermath... and prevented them from running into the trap of believing that they were in any way qualified to lead armies just yet.

It is obvious that she is hiding things as her influence is enormous, her connections extend to the criminal underworld and her knowledge of the Force is greater than she admits, but with the war raging on and the threat of the Sith the Council has no chance to investigate further, forcing them to accept her as an uneasy ally for the time being.

Truly, these are dark times.

Omake writing will recommence once RL related breakdown has been survived. Never believe life can't get worse. You would be surprised.

No, just taking over the #3 spot for threadmarks and putting it back out of my reach for a while. @Panory may be strived for but not reached. If I did one omake a week for the next year (not an unrealistic pace and not a super-slow one) and Panory had a horrible accident preventing him from writing for the whole year...I might reach Panory's count.

Something tells me Panory will add more omakes in 2018. The real race is for the 3 spot, and @Teron 's done a heck of a job pulling away for a while with some interesting insights from lots of different characters.
