Sadly we're actually not that good in comparison to our actual enemies when you think about it. Our highest stat is 30 in intrigue. Assuming that ~30 is excellence for
non-force users and our average skill is 21.33 ... yeaaahhhh. We're no where near where we likely need to be.
I'm under the assumption that stat bases for quests like these loosely follow the following formula (on average):
0-10: Non-Important people levels. For actual characters, novice level (non-powered skills)
10-15: Competency level (non-powered skills) | Novice (powered skills)
15-25: Professional level (non-powered skills) | Competent (powered skills)
25-30: Excellence/Mastery (non-powered skills) | Professional (powered skills)
30-35: Legendary (non-powered skills, usual max) | Excellence/Mastery (powered skills)
35-Beyond: Legendary (powered skills)
For Ciaran, powered skills would be pretty much all of them with arguable exceptions in Learning, Diplomacy, or Intrigue

As you can see, based on the (admit-ably amature) ranking, she can only be considered Professional in two skills or
lower Legendary if you decide to be favorable and lower the ranks. And when going up against two deadly people who are upper class Legendary in at least
three. This counts Sidious who's specialties are likely to be Intrigue, Martial, Diplomacy, and Lore in the
upper legendary levels.
