So who is the plague creator?

*sighs sadly* I suppose that's what I get in my enthusiasm to share this insanity with the world-forgetting the key details. One minute.

Edit: Finished. Please enjoy the blindingly obvious reveal for anyone who's even remotely familiar with the things Teron and myself have been drawing from.

Well we got more confirmation that The Silencer's true form is that of an FPS protagonist. The old school kind that did not need any chest high walls.:p

Damn right, real men soak up bullets, slaughter their foes, and feed off the smoking flesh of their enemies as they scream their final breaths.

If they get a bit thirsty after all that work they might chase it down with a health pack, maybe, if they feel like it.

Sadly we're actually not that good in comparison to our actual enemies when you think about it. Our highest stat is 30 in intrigue. Assuming that ~30 is excellence for non-force users and our average skill is 21.33 ... yeaaahhhh. We're no where near where we likely need to be.

I'm under the assumption that stat bases for quests like these loosely follow the following formula (on average):

0-10: Non-Important people levels. For actual characters, novice level (non-powered skills)
10-15: Competency level (non-powered skills) | Novice (powered skills)
15-25: Professional level (non-powered skills) | Competent (powered skills)
25-30: Excellence/Mastery (non-powered skills) | Professional (powered skills)
30-35: Legendary (non-powered skills, usual max) | Excellence/Mastery (powered skills)
35-Beyond: Legendary (powered skills)

For Ciaran, powered skills would be pretty much all of them with arguable exceptions in Learning, Diplomacy, or Intrigue

Skill Level Powered Un-powered
Martial 26 Professional Mastery
Diplomacy 20 Competent Professional
Stewardship 18 Competent Professional
Intrigue 30 Professional (border up) Mastery (border up)
Learning 14 Novice Competent
Lore (Force) 23 Competent Professional
As you can see, based on the (admit-ably amature) ranking, she can only be considered Professional in two skills or lower Legendary if you decide to be favorable and lower the ranks. And when going up against two deadly people who are upper class Legendary in at least three. This counts Sidious who's specialties are likely to be Intrigue, Martial, Diplomacy, and Lore in the upper legendary levels.

The last Star Wars CKII quest I saw had all the Master Jedi at 35-45 martial/piety. Vader had ~50 in each. It all depends on Dr. Snark though, because the numbers are meaningless until he decides where everyone else stands.

I agree but I still think that our stats are lower than where we will need them to be.

The name NEMESIS didn't clue you in? Or on the last thread where I had him spout quotes from Resident Evil 5? Or the fact that both Operations had both the name RESI and involved undead and mutants?
I haven't played Resident Evil so quite a bit flew over my head. And I know that Star Wars has a zombie plague in it, so I thought this plague was that plague.

I've never played any Resident Evil games... with the exception of the spin off Operation Raccoon City. Admittedly while it wasn't the best game, I did enjoy being the bad guy.

*is unfamiliar with Resident Evil*

In my case, I only know of Wesker because he appeared in a Disgaea quest (the one by SlyOverlord).

I'm not really a fan of zombie stuff so I never played any Resident Evil games.

Totally agree with you, we've been neglecting personal growth for a long time in favor of adding the gigantic personal attention modifier to actions, not staying that was wrong, but we're setting our self up to be the optional sideboss. We need to be more badass.

Sudden thought about our new 'Genemod' options -- we should prioritize our granddad!
In addition, due to the fact that said mods would be comprised of newer, healthier biomass it would slightly "set back" the age of any recipient.
Silas Cata is getting pretty old, so a genemod would give him at least a few more years.

Incidentally, @Dr. Snark, do we have a list of what 'Near-Human' species are available for genemodding, and what benefits they'd give us? After our injury, we looked at Chiss (super-smarts) and Zelosian ('weird' plant-based biology) before deciding on Zeltron (empathy for Diplomacy/Intrigue bonus). However, according to Wookiepedia, there are a number of other Near-Human races, including the Pau'un of Utapau, Hapans, Sallustans, Zabrak, or for that matter our own Miralukan race. There's also this exhaustive (and exhausting) list.

Also, will we be allowed to research/develop genemods for species that are humanoid but not 'Near Human' (like Twileks or Muun) or aren't humanoid at all (Bith, Wookie, literally everything else)?

Finally: are genemods 'stackable'? Can we mod ourselves or another of our 'Heroes' with genes from multiple species, or we limited to a single genemod per person?

I'm not a great fan of Sienar Fleet Systems' products. And I am suspicious of the way this option has popped up... I kinda wonder if this isn't some scheme of Palpatine to get a new covert ops ship and get Ciaran to pay for the development costs...

Still... If we are buying starfighters from them, though something like the TIE Phantom or TIE Defender would be pretty sweet, both of those ships are something like 30 years in the future. We might be more reasonable to aim for something like the Z-95 or Y-Wing, both of which are cutting edge tech during the Clone Wars (and are my two favorite ships in the X-Wing miniature game, so as you might guess, I could say plenty of good things about why these ships are good even for the Rebellion era).

But do we need or want starfighters? Particularly since MandalMotors is based right on Mandalore and they have proven ability to make good starfighters (like this or this). Sienar has already designed and built this stealth corvette - a larger ship like that could offer interesting capabilities.

Stealthed "humanitarian aid delivery craft" anyone?
