[X] Quiet elimination. Try to eliminate as many guards as quietly as possible before moving in; odds are that between the Silencer and Jango they might even be able to do it without raising an alarm.

[X] You'll hang back and only provide spotting and general command. You're not keen on getting too involved in a heated firefight in any real capacity.

Very nice chap. Wasn't expecting it to be Jango.

*stares at the giant sign with the giant hints on it (which date back even to the old thread AND the current one where he even more or less confirmed it) which by now has a lot of voter shaped dents on it, shrugs, gets a bigger sign to beat over peoples heads*

[X] You'll at least provide sniper support both here and when they start moving into the mine. You'll admit that you're not quite as skilled as your companions but you can certainly provide some support.

Thrawn is good with a gun, but not that good, not compared with the Silencer and Jango Fett. On the other hand, he is quite literally the best in the galaxy at 'general command', so giving him the ability to recon and coordinate the attack would be best.

I do agree that having Thrawn contribute by sharpshooting might help give a positive impression to Jango. On the other hand, showing off his mastery of command definitely would give that positive impression, and would help Thrawn develop his tactical acumen.

Thrawn is a commander first and a warrior second. Let's play to our strengths.

Was going for sniper support, but I have the sneaking feeling that Thrawn -- who is not a trained sniper -- might make a mistake like not relocating between shots and thereby make himself a hostage. Better to focus entirely on keeping the other two informed and coordinated as perfectly as possible. Beyond that, I like divide and conquer in principle, but less so when it involves us having two individuals on the ground, neither of them in contact with each other, and both hideously outnumbered. It would split our focus and some of our advantages, and place Jango up against any surprises in the mine completely alone. And the all-out assault, while probably extremely plausible, is just sloppy.

Well I didn't think he would just appear on Mandalore and actually work with us. I always thought that he would appear at some point trying to kill us.

Well he's been kind of busy trying to destroy the Death Watch. He really hasn't had the time or inclination to take on anything else.

Which suits us fine, besides, he might be useful in the future. Yes, it might take time and Ciara will be a bit ... cold... to him, but overall ...

Besides Boba is, more or less, CIS/Dooku's hostage ("indirectly") that motivates Jango to work specifically with Dooku.

Man Ciaran made me too ambitious.

No, no ... you're just beginning to think in character.

Real snipers work with a spotter for a reason. It blows your situational awareness to hell. And a situation like this where you're almost completely unfamiliar with the area, with potential Death Watch hiding under any given rock nearby, makes this a terrible place to start any amateur hour idiocy.

[x] Divide and conquer. Have the Silencer draw off and eliminate as many guards as possible while Jango moves into the mine in the confusion to finish off the enemies inside.

Man Ciaran made me too ambitious.

What I remember in the Sidious-Dooku Interlude was that Jango feels threatened by Ciaran. He's been in hiding since the assassination attempt on Padme because of the response it got.

To the public Ciaran is a businesswoman, philanthropist and humanitarian. However, Jango got a brief look at the soft power Ciaran wields. He witnessed two of The Order's top Jedi immediately head for his 'safe house' on a planet which was supposed to be erased from the galactic map. To Jango, Ciaran used the same tactic as Deathwatch did to destroy his True Mandalorians, call in a Jedi Strike Force.

When he met with Dooku privately on Geonosis he probably warned Jango of how dangerous Ciaran actually is. Dooku got a glimpse of Ciaran's reach when after the attempt on her life, all those involved, no matter how hidden, were utterly annihilated. That's got to put a scare into even the most cold hearted person.

So Dooku offers to keep his son safe in exchange for aiding in private missions. The destruction of Death Watch might seem to be against Dooku's goals, but without Deathwatch Satine can devote her full attention to disrupting Ciaran in the CNS. That fact that it's personal to Jango just means that he's doing it at a discount.
