Matter of Faith (BTVS / OC)

This seem like that bad future that everyone try to avoid but secretly want to to happen because of the massive dose of FUCK YEAH that would entail

Question Lost Star - how likely would we be to succeed in capturing a vampire for interrogation (they are strong as fuck)?
That's gonna determine what I vote to do.

You want to make things better? Gather the power and faith for it. Until then I have things to kill."
So one positive note for the wishverse, at least, is that the Light might not be all that cool with all that's gone wrong and willing to help out.
Maybe that's even why Faith told Cordy to do this, since it seems this Faith has converted, if that lightshow was anything to go by.

You could capture a vampire. I wouldn't suggest keeping them long though, since your capture would involve breaking limbs, and be harder than normal.

Also Faith didn't take up the light as a faith. She took up something else.

Hm, maybe she is a Heaven Knight of the Herald of War? Would fit with the name, the speed at which she moved, and i think the Herald of War has some electricity based tricks that could power her prostethics if they are cybernetic.

At least that was what i gathered from the Write Up Lost Star did on the 13 earlier in this quest.

Correct.

She actually went down the White-Touched path. It has a few social skills and let her deal with the fact that she got tortured and lost several body parts. She's not particularly sane anymore, but she's at least stable.

Thats interesting. I really wonder how the Light and the Thirteen view each other. The later seem to be pretty powerful from what we've seen of Lady Leviathan.

So do we want to interrogate someone, people?
Give us info, then we kill them, finish off the Quest with another secondary point.

Or should we call it quits with that plan and just consider the Light-granted Quest fulfilled?

Sorta friends?

The Light likes the white side. Dislikes the Black side. They aren't antagonistic towards each other, and do occasionally help, but they aren't flat allies. Only the fact that the 13 likes humans makes them even able to work together.

[X]Tell Faith we plan on hitting some more vampires soon.
-[X]Ask if she knows any other likely spots, or if she knows where that last vampire gang tends to hang out during the day. Even just the direction they head after parties (North, South, East, or West) could be useful. Have her ask her friends too
--[X]Head out in search of their nesting place, if we hit them during the day we should be able to take out the rest
-[X]Check in with Jet, Faith and you are a known quality at this point, so he might be able to offer something that would surprise them.

At least it doesn't make us look like that sad, depressed kid who squashed bugs for fun while secretly filling the school air ventilation system with sarin. Beside, homicide is right there in a paladin job's description, right between "thou shall be a stick in the mud" and "thou shall keep a perfect dental hygiene"

Oh please, a paladin's job description is 'do good and kick the ass of evil in the process.'

There is nothing about being a stick in the mud, although it's a hazard given their general duties, while immunity to poison and disease makes it very easy to keep the body (and thus also your teeth) in perfect health.

Seriously, there's nothing forbidding a paladin from partying like tomorrow won't come, they just usually don't do it because 1) immune to poisons so alcohol doesn't affect them, so stupid ideas keep sounding like stupid ideas, and 2) they usually have to keep an eye on the people in their group who can get drunk or ill and keep them from doing something they regret.

I'm pretty certain that particular fiasco didn't hit until far later. This was referencing the lingering traces of the wish.
See, I assumed that Cordy was the only one who could take that place for some reason, like she was specifically made for that purpose. Like, Jasmine has been manipulating her family line for centuries specifically so someone open to her power would be born.

So, yeah, I always assumed she was just the tiniest bit not human due to that.

Seriously now, let's start working out some ideas.
[X] Mention to Faith that we intend to interrogate one of the vampiric gangbangers, try and gather more information on what's out there, preferably before the weekend is done.
-[X] The plan would be to hopefully get them into the blessed base, for best possible results
[X] When you're not doing anything else, train Blessing of Might as much as possible.

I dunno about taking them to the base. I guess we could always get a new base if they discover it and escape, but luring them there seems like it could go bad. I prefer a method that involves ambush/trap/home invasion. And they might be able to detect it's blessed and see through our plan.

The idea was to beat them up, then forcefully drag them there before interrogating them (and then we dust them).

Oh, in that case excellent idea. I thought you intended to lead a group of vamps there for combat because of the bonus it gives us.

[X] Plan with Faith on how you're going to patrol tonight.
- [X] Since you dusted the investigator. That means the Gang vampires will know something is up. And the party house might be a trap since they'll Definitely be much more serious when sending vampires to the place.
- [X] Bring up hitting other party areas and hitting vampires there while the party house cools down.
- [X] Train willpower

Edited.

Uh guys, we can't upgrade skills with training yet. Need to wait for Lost to work it out first.
To answer a previous question on skills as well, upgrades for skills can be gotten with skill points. I'm going to be adding an option for training for that soon as well. (It's going to take a lot of time though.)

Anyway, don't think trying to interrogate a vampire is a good idea yet. We'd have to specifically go after a Gang vampire. Which means we need to go back to the party house. Not only that, but we'd also have to take care not to dust them and specifically aim to remove their limbs since Vampires are so much stronger than us. And we're Kind of having a difficult time with the cannon fodder as is.

If we had wanted to interrogate a vampire. We probably should have done it against that investigator.
