Huh i wonder the in Buffy verse it the general perception is that the crime rate is just higher like we accept a certain level of crime is normal in cities i just wonder if they have always had an extra 10% murders and the like and just assume that is normal, tough on crime initiatives must have a field day with unsolved murder cases statistics unless they are smothered.

Yeah,going public is bad idea if you don't have strong base of operation,that why I want to continue reveal secret for close circle of friend and family first,seek consult with them before made any decision.

About crime rate,I think that canhandwave with police is normal corrupt and magical contract corrupt,Some senator is evil in Buffy verse.
 
Honestly, i would reveal ourselves precisely because fuckton of people will try to silence us.

I think timing is important,we need to reveal to made more allied,Buffy last so long because she has people to help her.

Why would we become an edgy teenager? It sounds like we have normal hobbies and like playing around with our new powers. And do you know Faith personality at all? With her as a friend I'm more afraid we might wake up from an overdose of drugs and learned we slept with the ugliest fire demon around and the demon happens to be a yandere that wants us all to herself.

Edgy teenager that don't want to reveal secret to family like Buffy,Grant Buffy have excuse of after movie she told family but getting put in mental institue.

But my point is,the first step to be responsible adult is know our own limit and reasonable distribute our resource,time,money,manpower.
Clear our backyard that is our family first before roaming around looking for more trouble to solve.
 
We are basically a priest with armour and a hammer.

There's only so edgy we can become, and most of that is physical edges.

I'm choosing Soul because not only does it improve presence. But it's also part of improving Willpower and Charisma.

And having a low willpower and charisma stat irks me *Willpower especially though*. Just 1 more point at least. Then we can start going into body *Maybe put a stray point into mind*.

If we Train fighting with the hammer, a Vampire could accidnetally see us even if it is a not so often used place like some back alley or something. So Long as we remain discreet and don't heal anyone to 100% overnight it should be fine.

Personally I just like the idea of helping People who are hurt. That is a big part of the whole Light Thing. Believing in yourself and good and help others to create a Overall better world.

Though I wonder if Lost Star is going with The Light as an actual deity or the energy form that can be used by People in Warcraft.

True, going the route of the healer would be pretty awesome here.

Though I wonder if we started to do so if the church would try to recruit us once the word got out.

Guys, you really shouldn't leave our guys best and only friend out of the loop. This is the Buffyverse, and we got a perfect third member for our version of the Scoobies right there. Leaving your friends out of contact with the supernatural never works out well for anyone in the long run. His intellectual nerd fits well with our paladin-y jock and Faiths reckless alpha-bitch, we would make a perfect band of misfits!

Plus, well, its the Buffyverse. In which being a nerd apparently qualifies you to be a supervillain capable of building technology centuries ahead of the curve. We want him to be at least the Reed Richards to our Captain America. Gotta stop him from turning into Doctor Doom.
 
What's with all this talk about not letting our father in? This is not about revealing a secret, this is about saving him. Comic book convention ditacte that the more you try to keep family members out of the loop to protect them, they are almost guaranteed to get themselves killed trying to figure it out, hindering us as well.

I don't know can we be edgy, but we can certainly LOOK edgy. Disappearing into old warehouse district for a long time and come out looking like dead, skipping school, ect... If we don't let him know what is going on, he may send us to rehab or something

Seriously can we at least try and establish something with Faith first.
We won't even really do anything that'd get our drunkard of a father killed for a while anyway.
 
@Lost Star, by the way, is our normal hammer one handed, two handed, or do we pick when we summon it?
If we pick, can we alter it as would be useful in the fight?
