MCU General

So if Thor 4 is confirmed JaneThor for at least part/most of it, I wonder if whatever sets that off is gonna be part of the plot of GotG3. Thor does something that he himself sees as unworthy, so he gives it up for a time?

I never thought about a Blade movie starring Mahershala Ali, but now it's the thing I absolutely want to see.

I'm pretty sure the Eternals movie is supposed to be an extended "fuck you" to Ike Perlmutter, both because of his Inhumans fixation and how he's allegedly the reason it took so long for diverse projects like Black Panther and Captain Marvel to happen.

Ten bucks on the Mandarin being a replacement for Fu Manchu who was Shang-Chi's father in the comics.

So, if they're doing Blade, does this mean Vampires have now always been a thing in the MCU?

If the masquerade on that breaks, I beat people are going to just be like 'Vampires are real as well? Sure, why not?'

It must be hard being a Vampire in Marvel when even aside from the people specifically hunting you down, if you corner a victim in a dark alley you have maybe a one in two chance of someone in tights appearing to beat you within an inch of your unlife. Or the person you're trying to feed off of having a mutation that gives them acid for blood, or something.

Now that they've beaten Avatar they've pretty much got the license to go buck fucking wild, because at this point the MCU just prints money.

It's almost like audiences recognize and reward quality and (semi) risk taking.

Kind of disappointed Disney is locking so much content behind Disney+, but I'm definitely going to get it if just for the Loki show.

No Ms.Marvel? Booo! Hisss!

(joking, but I cannot wait to see Khamala being brought into the MCU).

Considering the rumors I feel like most of phase 4 is an extended FU to the dude

What?

He owns a chunk of Disney, so no, but he's not Kevin Feige's boss anymore.

There's also a 99% chance he's using the Department of Veterans Affairs to run a health insurance scam out of Mar-a-Lago. The man is a certified piece of shit.

So who is Feige's boss now?

And in case anyone missed it or ever doubted it, yes the Loki in the Loki show is the Loki we saw in Endgame. So he's sorta getting the Gamora treatment. Well, less so than Gamora since he's retaining 2 movies worth of character development.

Oh and here's the playlist of the Hall H stuff (minus the video clips they showed and the copyrighted music they played):

Phase 4 definitely seems to be an interesting phase. You can tell Disney definitely isn't worried and is willing to be a bit bolder, a lot bolder actually. Most of the movies are not things one would expect (Eternals, Shang-Chi, Black Widow prequel, Blade, Thor being Female Thor and Valkyrie) Several shows that have to cost a fair bit of money to make, well maybe not Hawkeye, Hawkeye I feel like that could be a less expensive show than the rest.

And I mean Thor 4 focusing on Jane and apparently Valkyrie finding a woman to marry. That may has well just have "We saw the Right Wing reaction to Captain Marvel and we do not GIVE A SHIT"

Well at least something good came out of Green Book.

I look foward for the right'z tautrum fest when a Miss Marvel film is confirmed.

The right wing are already going mad on social media over Jane Foster becoming female Thor, despite that having happened in the comics. but I hope in Thor 4, Jane and Thor get back together, I liked that pairing in Thor and Thor:The Dark World

I can understand being concerned since Jane as Thor in the comics wasn't the best arc but that's not why those people are reacting like that.

The comments online are from people who never read the comics and just hate it cause their right-wing scumbags.

I talked to my friend who read that arc in the comics. He liked it and looks forward to seeing the MCU's take on it.
