And uhhhh RRBs. It's still just 2 rolls on 1 FP which is doable IMO but not exactly ideal. I don't love it but I really don't want to not do sealing. I'm conflicted here. If we die I'm gonna feel real dumb.

As mentioned, some edits to this. I saved a few words and adjusted a few things to flow better.

One major addition is Hazo apologizing to his aggrieved clanmates. Saying he made a mistake without apologizing hits my ear wrong. That section in general got some tweaks and it hits the tone I was going for a bit harder, but that's the tone I wanted, not necessarily the one you'll want.

Yes, Hazō will fulfill his agreements without player intervention, provided that it's possible for him to do so. For example, if you decide for him to leave the village for a month then obviously he won't be able to do his part and he will default. If the QMs remember the issue in advance then we might throw out a "Hey, don't forget X" before the plan goes into effect, but it's ultimately on the players. If we don't think of it before the plan goes through / Hazō leaves and then we remember later, we will write the appropriate outcomes from Hazō forgetting and won't feel guilty about the lack of advance warning.

Then it sounds like the solution is to order Gaku to remind us of our obligations daily, and to ensure we are always 2 months ahead of our sealing/jutsu obligations as a buffer against defaulting. Much like a real-life CEO who is busy has their assistant remind them in advance of approaching deadlines.

Does anyone want to add that to a plan as a thing we tell Gaku to do (and for Hazou to comply with by making them in advance)?

Also, for seals, it would seem really silly for Hazou to ever default since he can make a seal perfectly with one hand using the Iron Nerve while otherwise doing other work that doesn't involve that hand - he literally just needs 5 minutes. So if he's sitting at his desk reading a report from Gaku for 15 minutes, boom, 3 seals done. This is an objective advantage he has over all other seal masters when it comes to simply mass producing seals. Given the Akane Seal Bank, he should probably be doing that for some basic seals already.

He would be seen as insane by other sealmasters to risk making seals like that, but his seals would all be perfect so the perceived insanity will change to awe and it'll just increase his reputation as being a Jaraiya level sealmaster who can eat toast and make a seal at the same time. It may even create a sealing-related intimidation tag. I think there was an Omake similar to that, but it can be made real.

But let us say Hazou, while at home, eats for 30 minutes every day (total between all meals). Over a span of 16 days of normal living he could make a full day's worth of seals without without having to dedicate any extra time blocks to that task. Given the amount of desk-work he has as Clan Head, it really should not be an issue to nonchalantly produce thousands of seals at essentially zero effort or extra time being used.

The Iron Nerve is kinda busted given how powerful sealing is, both in general and economically.

Isn't this gaku thing basically just forcing the qm to remember or giving an auto pass if the player forgets?

This basically violates the "it's ultimately on the player" rule that the qm is implementing on the issue.

Not sure exactly how it came together, but this plan is truly a masterclass in wordcount optimization. An incredible amount of content and detail, without sacrificing clarity, all under 300 words.

Also, researching 8 seals at once? Now THIS is podracing.
