- Unlinkely Asuma's doing after assigning her a genin team/tower jutsu (although if he did want to kill her to ensure Leaf's safety, that would be a hell of a smokescreen)
- Additionally, he doesn't really seem to be in a "fucking with the Gouketsu" mood right now due to DRAGONWAR.
- Tentatively assume good faith, but stay alert.
- Mari and Yuno lead the party.
- Research a seal that creates a life-size hologram of the dragon we killed, and another that makes a terrifying dragon-roar-like sound (chunin tier version of Dragon Roar Seal, with less psychic power behind it). Use those to help Enma scare the ambassadors into getting their butts in gear.
- Estimate time of completion for the seal(/s) and check with Enma if he's okay waiting for the storytelling aids.
- Haru: We want you to investigate the Hagoromo beauracrat who didn't flag Akane as MIA. If there's evidence to say that this was deliberate, we want to know about it so we can prove malicious action to Asuma.

I don't care about antagonising them when there's probable cause, and the trail could go cold by the time Asuma is back in the village.
I don't want Hazou going. He's got inadequate combat skills, and is a high-value-target himself. If this is a trap to draw him out (by, eg. the colour cabal) we'd be playing right into it. We have actual jonin to throw at this problem.
KEI aren't in our inner circle. I suppose we can update them, but don't see a major reason to.

- Inform Asuma ASAP you believe Orochimaru is going to kidnap and interrogate Kurosawa Ren. Explain why, what Orochimaru believes, that it's inaccurate, and that he may be upset with Hazo when he returns. Don't divulge bloodline secrets unless necessary.
- Conclave stuff goes here.
- The Present:
- Make 3 Shadow Clones. Hazou is to the Tower (Naruto); the clones are to the Nara (Kei/Shikamaru), Yamanaka (Ino), and Goketsu (Mari).
- Inform all parties that Akane's team has been MIA for 7 days; they were sent near the Rock border; and there is a non-trivial possibility Akane has been kidnapped by Rock.
- Hazou (via Seventh Path) alerts Asuma of this as well.
- Don't leak EM Nukes to those not in the know.
- If Naruto isn't, but in-the-know ANBU are present, let them confirm Akane's importance without OPSEC leak, if possible.
- Hazou posts a mission to investigate, ASAP.

I don't want him going, either. But there's no reason to believe that he could finish a hologram seal or to believe that our seal is going to do anything but dilute Emma's storytelling. We for sure can't finish a hologram seal in less than 24 hours, and wasn't Dragon's Roar jonin level?
The plan is intended to last more than 24 hours. I specifically specified a non-jonin lesser version of it. Visual/aural aids tend to be beneficial to storytelling, not dilute it.

Asuma left Naruto in charge in his absence. HDK what Naruto knows – EM is extremely need-to-know but Naruto, as jinchūriki and maybe-future Hokage, may need to know.
Note that Asuma is currently at the Chūnin Exams and the only way to contact him is by summon check-in at the Conclave, which happens in the evening. Hazō went to the Tower first thing in the morning (intending to head to the Conclave straight after). If you want to do something immediately, it will have to be before you talk to Asuma.

I Really hope she's still alive. Either way, the chapter was done wonderfully as a way to hype up Akane while making clear something went wrong as we waited for the drop.
And I support the Anbu verification with Naruto, if he isn't in the know.

Based on past performance, late morning to early afternoon unless Asuma needs them for something.
Since the Wakare Woods aren't actually close to the border, I would change this to eliminate the first clause. Just point out that it's in the direction of Rock and she might have been kidnapped.
We don't want Hazou coming off as hysterical. That would be extremely detrimental to our ability to get a rescue mission sent out.
