If I remember correctly, Karasu is the Japanese word for crow. So Karakugo could likely be a crow summon.

Edit, just incase Karakugo come up before: I am someone that is catching up slowly, but decided f it I'ma read new chapters too.
Your guess is good! It's not a character that's been mentioned afaik, but we know the Crow Boss is named Karanium

Also welcome to the club but maybe catch up first so you don't get spoiled :V

Glad you're here! ^.^

Internet hugs are to your left, mad tinfoil theories to your right, and warm welcomes are in every direction!

Not to excessively nitpick, but aren't they blinded so that they don't accidentally see the GS? That's something only Kumokugo and her concubines are allowed to do.
Potayto, potahto. It's not safe to make the Arachnid Empress choose between violating her oaths and killing you.

Welcome! Lovely to have you. @RandomOTP has already given you the most wholesome welcome that can be made, so I shall merely second their suggestions and point out that there are cookies at the end of the hall on the left.

What chapter are you up to?

The update made it sound like they were blinding themselves to prevent them from seeing the Beautiful Dragon. Unless I failed my reading comprehension roll, that is.
"Hm? Oh, take your pick," Enma said. "I'm allowing a bunch of bugs to lift me a thousand feet in the air in order to spy on scary bedtime stories, the bugs in question have volunteered to have their eyes removed so they don't accidentally see the seal that defies every rule of sealing those two know-it-alls claim to know, or that I paid for the privilege by getting married."

Buy an adoption ticket in order to adopt Honoka and her family: They were surprised that you wanted to adopt a clanless Academy student and said they would need to discuss how that should work and they would get back to you.
Has there been my update on this?

I know they were trying to give us the run around but if there's anyone we could feasibly adopt without harming KEI interests, it is Honoka. I really want to adopt her and suspect it'll be the easiest ticket we've acquired in a long time if we can find a way to restrict its usage to her.

If Hazō were to ask Noburi what seals he could make to help medical practitioners, what would he say? Does he think that it would be worth asking some of the senior medic ninja what seals would be most useful to them?
EDIT:
Are there commonly issued medical ninjutsu that could feasibly be converted into seals that could aid civilian doctors? Something like a sterilization field that could be set up in an OR and then activated by a low-rank ninja before surgeries begin?

So, how many other clans are dealing with a literal interdimensional existential threat? The Nara and...who else?

I feel like at some point, we need to just look Asuma in the eye and tell him that given our current level of resources, we are increasingly uncertain that we can simultaneously save the multiverse and run a clan which is being harassed by Leaf's conservative bloc. Other, established clans have bandwidth that Goketsu doesn't to handle social warfare as a matter of course. We're trying to build that bandwidth, but it's a long-term project. Building ties with other clans so we can borrow their capacity is a medium-term solution that we're also working on - see, the Aburame lenscrafting alliance. But the Conclave and the Dragons are happening in the here and now.

A huge number of clans lost the majority of their senior members and institutional knowledge in the Collapse. When Jiraiya died, Goketsu effectively lost everything. If there's any justice in the world, Mari and Gaku will find toe-curling bliss when they join the Will of Fire for what they've done to keep all the plates spinning, but the fact of the matter is that Goketsu is led by a 15-year-old with incomplete bloodline training who was never meaningfully groomed to be a clan head. We've been hanging on by our fingernails for our entire post-Jiraiya existence. We'll cut the Sarutobi a great deal if we can piggyback on their reputation for a while, but we need to be able to focus and right now, we're drowning in responsibilities we simply can't delegate.

At the very least, we need the green light to go up to Ruri and the Porcupine Summoner and whoever else and tell them that the Hokage has ordered them to follow our lead at the Conclave, here's the expense account at the Tower they can draw down on to make it happen with their respective clans. Cutting those deals ourselves, using only Goketsu resources, makes zero sense now that this has been verified beyond a shadow of a doubt to be a massive deal.

I'm glad that Enma is praising us in front of our boss. How much is because he is a nice guy, and how much is because he wants us to like him? Probably more on the nice front, Hazou isn't quite important enough for Enma to care about manipulating.
After seeing the dragons and a bit of what they've done, Enma can now fully appreciate the apocalyptic threat they represent.

Hazo has done more than any other human alive in terms of combating this threat, up to and including killing a dragon (with help!).

I would not be surprised if right now, Hazo was Enma's favorite living human. Sorry Asuma, you're cool but you're not kill a dragon cool. Step it up kid.

"There was… one more Dragon, wasn't there?" he asked.
The most ordinary-looking Dragon is a reptilian creature with two to thirteen legs, one to seven wings, and zero to ten heads with one to uncountable eyes. It is of a colour, monochrome, with scales of a tesselating geometric pattern. Not only do no two observers agree on its appearance, but the same observer will give different reports on different days, and insist that the previous ones were mistaken. The Dragon's eyes, however, are always iridescent, and however many there were of them, they were always looking only at the survivor giving the report.
What happened to this dragon? Did Enma not get the chance to look at it; does it have a weak grue-effect; xor...?

This was already an option before, that we opted not to use as it affects how they'll behave at the Conclave and in the future (Ruri and Neji are already going so this would only apply to Aika, the Summoner no one can remember the name of). I'm not saying it wouldn't still be worth it and they would likely still take their role seriously but it may also build resentment to be approached, say no to attending and supporting Hazou for political reasons, and then get the Hokage card pulled on you and be forced to. But again desperate times and all that. I'm not personally convinced her presence is that make or break so I kinda don't care if she's there but OTOH she's had so little presence no one even knows who she is lmao

Since Enma is 100% convinced of the seriousness of the threat instead of just trying to convince Aika to show up and give us some limited support we instead swing for the fences. We get Enma to convince Tsunade, Oro and Ma & Pa about how serious of a threat the Dragons are. We then persuade them to all come to the conclave and support us and officially name us the heirs of the sannin

For the record, I have a writeup of Sage Mode burning a hole in my pocket. Can't wait for y'all to either learn it or see someone use it. Ditto for another major power up the nature of which I will not disclose but I note that it is within your grasp given appropriate effort

Hey so
1. Are we closer to this now?
2. Is it OUT related (like OUT element/release)
3. Is it dra- wait the dice

Edit: take a guess
Iris-Iven-Ibis threw 3 100-faced dice. Reason: Our element Total: 210
