Are we siccing her? We can tell her to be nice and not to take advantage. Hazou himself has to go deal with Jounin social specs all the time. So just dealing with one is fine. I don't really know how to navigate this. My instinct it to just have Hazoupilot do it, since it's his relationship.

tbf, the Yamanaka Training Jutsu doesn't reveal the super secret best jutsu the Yamanaka have, and i feel Ino is confident she can lie to Hazou if need be. But if Mari is confident there is no risk, that is fine too.
I trust the super social spec on how to deal with the situation, honestly.
I trust Mari(With Kei's optimization) to be smart about it. Maybe ask for different jutsus and "coincidentally" ad the Resolve Boost jutsu to the trade or something something social spec something something.
EDIT: Maybe we can add "Be mindful to not hurt Ino" or "Keep your relationship with Ino into account" in the planning stage and let Hazoupilot deal with it.

*sigh* I will vote for your plan IFF you agree to get rid of the "Mari will lead negotiations" part. I really do not think it is good (for Ino/Hazou's relationship) if Mari were that involved (or involved at all?), and am concerned that if Mari (not Hazou) negotiates with Naruto it won't look as great than if Hazou took the lead.
This is not a big concern. The Dragons attack Resolve, just say it's for that.
Naruto hates Hazou? What's the point of having a social spec if they don't do the negotiations? I can see that we don't want Mari to interfere with Ino and Hazou's relationship, but this is literally her job.

So, leaving the choice to the sanity-check for which will do which? I guess that is a good idea too, Kei+Mari should be the capable of deciding which person is best suited to do what.
But...the plan isn't mine, so i don't know how you could vote for it.
I'm willing to at least raise the topic of discussion and defer to Mari for the actual approach

I also think we're better off having Hazou just ask for it for himself and maybe Akane. "Can my clan have a thing that beats your Clan's entire kit." is not a great sales pitch.

You know I just realised but in canon!Naruto Tenten is actually a sealmaster, which she -as far as I'm aware- decidedly isn't in MfD.

IIRC, her only claim to fame in canon were storage seals augmenting her weapons specialty.
Not sure "sealmaster" is the right word for it (though I'll grant that canon treats seals a bit... wonky).
Also this. She's turned down every invitation for clanship to retain her freedom, even Kei's invitation into the Goketsu.
Maybe an Alt-Universe Tenten, who accepted clanship, would've become a sealmaster in truth. Alas... meh.
Though, this does raise an interesting point. We have Hella Sealing Notes, and we know Tenten is trustworthy (we give her a Goketsu-style Sealing Loadout, after all). Maybe we can extend an offer to let her read Sealing or Mednin notes?
