...what browser do you use on your phone? All of them should have search function.
Crhome most of the time, and i looked over and the interface to it is kinda terrible for the prupose we need it.
Since it marks every post in the tread. Due one of the buttons, specifically the one bessides quote.

DO NOT USE THE SEVENTH LETTER OF THE ALPHABET, OR ANY WORD THAT CONTAINS SAID LETTER IN YOUR POSTS

PLEASE SEARCH FOR (Ctrl + F) / ( + F) AND REMOVE ALL INSTANCES OF THE SEVENTH LETTER BEFORE YOU POST

THIS WILL REDUCE XP LOSS

Pro tips:
  • USE THE JASHINDAMNED SEARCH FUNCTION
  • Don't dick around about the situation. SO MUCH OF XP lost thus far has been from commentary about the situation.
  • Avoid adjectives. Most adjectives use the format [noun] + "in" + [FORBIDDEN WORD].
  • You can, in fact, search for the FORBIDDEN WORD on your phone. Please do so.

The solution to this issue is to press the "More Options" button, which is located directly next to "Post Reply". This takes you to a separate web...location...with far fewer instances of the FORBIDDEN WORD.

How about we just stop. It's clear than no discussion can be had here without people be pissed off,l over the XP loss, vote on a plan and let it pass... Lurker mode style.

I think we just need to ban the cardinal direction opposite to left, as a start

ban verb nouns, use 'correct' instead of [DELETED], use yeah? as our question end of sentence

this post phone posted with no - aw hell no I ain't jinxin' it that way

Honestly, we've hit the point where I'm less concerned about the XP loss than the loss of research time. This outlook really helps me stay chill about this latest reality failure.

Don't worry everyone, just remember to post \[\/QUOTE\] after the week is past. Now every post after this will be an ej quotation and hence extempt:

PSA: Please do not edit or delete posts during the Zero-G period
Any player post we see that has been edited will be assumed to have had Gs removed. It will count as -10 XP on top of the -1 for every G that still remains. We'll make an exception for 'infrastructure' posts such as SC XP, sealing XP, and other things that would reasonably have been edited for non-G-related purposes.

If we believe that a post has been deleted, that will also be -10 XP.

This will be applied going forward, not retroactively.

But but but last-minute phrasin' corrections! Fiddlin' with the wordin'!

No joke, I expect it may have anti-fun consequences. I at least have an instinct for tweakin' my posts on a whim whenever somethin' in them displeases me, and while I am reasonably confident in my ability to keep that in (combined with my current lower level of activity), I can picture some people slippin' up, and unlike rewordin' a sentence before postin' it, this mistake is unfixable.

We should assume that posts which contain plans and votes are also exempt from the no-edit rule, yes? My assumption is that it does count for the exemption, but am not 100% sure of that.

What happens when xp sinks under 0? Why a letter and not a phoneme? Afaicr, hazou does not think in this collection of words

[X] XP to Spend Akane: My partner is a WMD

[X] Action Plan: In Which Hazou Lives Up To His Reputation

At least the most important content of all in this chat aren't forbidden: praise Jashin; and project omnicule.

MfD is a translation from the language of the Elemental Nations to English. @Velorien and I do our best to prevent translation difficulties but sometimes, as in this case, there's an idiom being used that doesn't have a good English translation and the literal version would be far too wordy. In those cases we go with a "best fit" approach, which is what Velorien did here.
If MfD is a translation from ENese to ... uh ... [American-British communication method], then it stands to reason that our posts/forum discussion is translated to ENese. Hazou may not think in said collection of words, as you have said, but what he 'receives' from us is translated from that.

Think of the FORBIDDEN LETTER as the equivalent of Hazou unable to use the [ニ] katakana. Except we don't use katakana when we communicate, so this is a translation of his inability to use that.

[stupid stinkin' human pronunciation word stupid stinkin' FORBIDDEN LETTER]

Well, my stance is still the same. Let's just stop, move discussion to the discord if inevitably because this penality is basically anti-fun and leaves a sour taste in people's mouths

Nevermind, I just blocked the web element that contains the edit button. The power of precommitment triumphs once more!

It's this one, if anyone's curious:

I was wondering about that from the start. There's no incentive for the KEI, other than some money, to sell any more tickets than absolutely necessary. The only time they would do so is when they are so in need of something a Clan (other than Kei) can provide that they begin being willing to trade away their own members to get it.

But what we could do is have the Goketsu sign a binding contract that they are willing to teach any technique an adoptee got through the KEI system to at least one currently alive KEI ninja if there are none anymore that know it. On top of that we could encourage our adoptees to continue teaching techniques to KEI ninja, provided that the techniques were learned before they joined the Clan. Provided there's spare time and an adequate recompense for the time invested of course.

Also, we should ask Mari to find out how many ninja the Clan Kei has adopted ever since the new system was implemented.
I can, I just need to open the top right menu on the firefox app.
Shrieking pain rends Hazō's brain and he collapses.

It's literally worse than I expected. I never expected people to deliberately fuck around and use the forbidden letter for their own amusement.
I did. Hence why we said 'troll posts do not count.'

Yeah... This is torture.
It's a seal failure; it's intended to be a major problem. The difference is that we chose an option that allows y'all to minimize the harm.

Please also make an exception for posts with votes. Those are often edited repeatedly.

That seems reasonable. Votes and plans will not be counted.

Obviously, gaming the system is unwise. FAAFO.
