I kinda picked up on that what with the zombie slaves, explosive tumors, and horrific parasites. The question is how she ever got a chance to tell anybody.
Arikada, not Arikada. Arikada is the guy from the SSSSSSSS who's an advisor to the high priest. You're thinking of Arikada, the biosealmistress we captured for Leaf.

I can see the confusion, since the pronunciations are similar. :V

I'm thinking that the Dragons getting out might be the threat to break Isan's isolation. Since at any moment the world might be destroyed if Ui's chosen don't chose to help. We can use that to unite people behind Keiko

Ahhh.

Nah, they've got no reason to believe it. Even the pangolins don't have any first-hand evidence.

Which means that we need to capture a dragon and dump it into the middle of their village.

Dragons like eating things, but are they armored on the inside? They're native to the 7th Path, which we know isn't used to seals or deathworld style flora and fauna- what could they be fed from the human path? Perhaps a storage scroll full of dragonfly paralytic?

won't they just gain the paralytic property?

i wonder if we could feed them Poor man's yellow flash filled whit bathtubs full of molten glass, they may not be 100% real but that can't be good for them.

Potential Anti-Dragon Measures
  • Banhshee Suicide Seal
    • Research an amped up Banshee Fucker Seal to the point of being a suicide technique, combine with Shadow Clones to hug the Dragons while activating the new Banshee Seal in order to liquefy their organs. Possibly achieved via Kagome's Implosion Seal.
    • This seal may have synergy with the amplification jutsu (used from the Chunnin Exams)
  • Rods of Gods Seal
    • Turn Jiraiya's Pillar Seal into a solid metal construct instead of stone, then spit it out from a Macerator that's designed for insanespeeds.
      • It would be nice if they weren't macerated (smaller surface area, less atmospheric drag). Can't be too much harder to make a storage seal that ejects with about the same speed though
  • Force Wall Ranged Weapons (spears, arrows, javelins, etc).
  • Force Walls added to Summons
    • Force Walls on a Dog's claws
    • Force Walls on a Hornet's stinger
  • Elemental Typings
    • Dragons can shift form ("become aquatic when they want). Manipulate them into a certain elemental form (i.e., water) and leverage elemental jutsu for effect (i.e., lightning)
  • Boss Summons tag team a Dragon while Summoners leverage that distraction to attack
  • (confirmed to work, may or may not be reusable) Use strands of spidersilk and a 5SB to slice a Dragon to pieces.
    • Dragons are very large. Something that heavy and moving quickly (like when they're flying) is very difficult to turn or stop.
    • Plan is to lure the Dragon into flying into a thread of spidersilk that has been anchored using a 5SB in advance.
    • If the Dragon is made of any earthly material that should slice it to bits.
  • Implosion seals
    • Hornets distract the Dragon with these while we set up stuff
    • Or they lead the Dragons in a certain direction EM Nuke
  • Feed Dragons a Poor Man's Yellow Flash, filled with bathtubs full of molten glass

I take that to mean that dragons can fly, swim and be on land as they please, like ducks essentially. They can maneuver however they want but not necessarily change shape.

"The loyalty of the Yoshida belongs to the village first and foremost," she finally said. "It is our duty as Akio's followers to oppose anything that, on balance, brings harm to the village. I am grateful for your visit, Summoner, but I can guess your unspoken thoughts, and I'm afraid I cannot sit here and discuss any kind of treason against the High Priest."

Sounds like there are spies nearby. With all those seals, no privacy ones for the walls.

"Now, Azai's spies will soon have recovered from their distractions. I shall call for more tea and sweets, and you can tell your old summoning instructor all about the Seventh Path, as you have been doing this entire morning."

Amped up Banshee Slayer causing organ damage is probably very hard to do or impossible even at Hazou's sealing. Thankfully it's totally unnecessary as well. Explanation:

1. The mechanism for causing organ damage via sound and shockwaves is the same, shockwaves are distorted sound waves. At 1 atm of pressure undistorted sound cannot be louder than 193 dB, anything louder than that is better described as a shockwave. Inventing a "louder" Banshee seal than that is the same problem as inventing a bigger explosive seal, very difficult to do.
2. Jiraiya's version of Banshee seals operate at 175 dB at the locus of the seal. Each 10 dB is an increase of intensity of 10x. This implies that we'd need a 63x intensity jump over what Jiraiya did to get to 193 dB. Difficult.
3. 193 dB is just barely enough to kill something anyway, it does this via air embolism in the lungs. No shredding. Which raises the important point that sound and shockwaves deal the most damage to air-filled organs first. We will never realistically shred kidneys this way.
4. We already have a seal with a 20 m range (much larger than we'd get with sound) that will shred the target's lungs, Kagome's Implosion seal. No research required.

This is great news, we already have a more effective weapon than Banshee seals that works at longer ranges. It's deployable right now with no additional research time.

I took it as one day based on the XP award. Still, we can stretch it out a couple days. Other than that, all XP awards and timelines attached to posts are consistent AFAICT.

Here's my best guess. Spreading 429 make 430.1, 430.2 and 432 a little later (keeping checkins nightly complicated things somewhat). I kept 428 on the 21st for the 2 day healing time consistent with the previous timeline. If we make it on the 22nd instead, nothing much changes, except Isan is now only 1 day behind Leaf, which is nice.

Looks like the Isan and leaf timelines are definitely off by a couple days. Can just stretch 434 out by 2 more days to get them aligned?
That looks good. Thank you.

Context matters. If you're Superman and you know that you are fighting and opponent who knows that they may be fighting you a lead box looks very suspicious- ah hell, I need to get around to updating my references.

"-but, it just stand to reason. When it came time to cash in your chips, this old diseased manic would be your banker. Mind over muscle."

The timeline has been updated with your suggestions. It is now October 30 in both timelines. Thank you for your help, and please receive 10 XP for what must have been a significant amount of tedious work.

I thought it was implied that Dragons receive powers of 7P Clans because Clans' ancestors were parts of Dragons. This would imply that Dragons will receive nothing by eating anything from Human Path, if true. Sadly, the theory would be hard to test, since it is possible that all Dragons will receive a power when only one of them consumes it.

To be clear, this is what I actually expect to happen, but where's the fun in that?

Pandā squirmed. "Legend says that when the Pantokrator saw how horribly evil they were, he gave them the ultimate punishment. He… he made them not a clan."

Kei raised her eyebrows.

"Only clans have the Pantokrator's blessing," Pandā explained uncomfortably, as if to a child asking a reasonable but highly improper question in public because she was too young to know better. "Losing the blessing is losing who you are. It's like having your mind eaten. Like being one of those pitiful creatures the Pantokrator made so humans wouldn't forget the Seventh Path.
*thinking of feeding driver ants to Dragons so as to make them non-sentient*

*thinking of all the ways this can go wrong*
