Fair. However, we are currently limited by production capacity rather than market (lots of civilians) so anything that increased value would be preferred.

QMs: You should go on some missions.

Players: We'd really rather not.

QMs: The civilans have a cartel, now go on missions.

Players: Ah what if we did all these clever things-

QMs: Take the gorram quest hook!

I've changed the birthday plan to match your suggested changes and added a conditional to the mission (if we don't make a lot of money immediately from other things). Does that meet your specs enough to vote for it?

Also, would using larger explosives such as normal claymores or cluster bombs make it more viable? It would decrease the required distance (typically power vs accuracy tradeoff).

Also, clones with ranged seal based weapons seem an excellent idea. Breaking action economy is good.

@MadScientist
Pretty much. That is part of why the mission part is in there and the economic stuff is set up largely to be done in parallel with third parties.

Not really. We're fine with you guys staying in Leaf for a while, since we know certain things on the horizon will make doing that for too long... somewhat challenging, let's say :D

(Also hi all. I am in the mountains and will probably not really be available until late Saturday)

FUCK THERE'S A LEAF INVASION ARC

TIME TO RESEARCH NUKES NOW!

Proposed new subject:
How is our team going to take on S class threats?

On a related note:
What is the biggest explosion we are currently capable of producing? It would be nice to be able to hurt really big things (such as Kanji or armies).

Is there any limit to how big we could scale a cluster bomb besides production time?

Yep!

[-] Action Plan: Prometheus

We should make separate research and training plans, though. Gonna work on that shortly.

Run away.

Dust Bombs. We can't go any bigger (yet), though we do have some crazy ideas involving stacked prepped implosion seals (that probably won't work).

We were... shall we say, advised, to steer our research away from world-shattering-explosions, by Jiraiya. If we really worked at it we could probably make Long range explosions, but that'd be kind of dangerous to us. We can do Medium range explosions no problem though.

kk. Whats the yield on our thermobaric dust bombs? How big of an area can they wipe out? Also, the capacity on those is storage seal/macerator storage size dependent, is it not? So improvement to storage seal capacity would translate directly to weapon yield (without it being obvious, even).

Not the person who would know, but indications point to being equal to a B-Rank Fire jutsu.
Also, can substitution be used with objects? Can we swap a lamp for an explosive tag?
Yes.

We should start identifying locations that would make good bunkers, that we can use to hide from Akatsuki when Hidden Leaf is obliterated.

Also IIRC you can substitute with any one contiguous object with a mass equal to 100% plus or minus 2.5% per level of Substitution.

How does "space" sound? We have tunneler's friend, redundant air domes, goo bombs to help patch the holes, and Usumatsu's Glorious Life Preserver to scrub CO2! What could possibly go wrong?

So guys. I'm like 90% certain that Jiraiya's clones can write macerator seals. We should suggest he start doing that as part of our "arm-civilians-with-gun-wands-what-could-possibly-go-wrong" initiative.
