-[x] You know Sabrina did bad things. Sabrina knows she did bad things. That bad things were done is indisputable. Sabrina herself is a good person. Bad people don't stop running gangs when they hold power. Bad people don't try to help addicts. Bad people don't do their best to help naive, know-nothing magical girls. So you know what? We're one-and-one. Which means we have to go to motive: Did a good person do bad things for a good reason? I can use truthtelling magic to ensure she's being honest.

Penance- the idea that you work to do good because you realized you've been doing bad and feel remorse- isn't that a worthwhile idea?
