OOC: I mainly going to be winging this quest.
DEAR LORD. From the center of town a beast rose from the center. Your mind could not grasp its form. It spoke in a guttural tongue creating sounds that should not be able to exists. Your ears attempt to deny these noises to save your remaining sanity.
The people around you with weaker egos started to laugh arms growing well beyond their limits. Flesh bursting out of their mouth forming a tentacle shaped head with many beady red eyes. Those mutated proceeded to claw out the eyes of the remaining un-turned. They proceeded to carefully tear one of their own eyes out and place into the empty socket of their victims and softly giggle as the implanted eye exploded into a cocoon of flesh around their victim's skull. You being the most sane individual in the current establishment smashed your face in with a rock to escape the horrors that were occurring.

To your immense surprise, you find yourself not dead and without a horror beyond the veil rampaging outside. You quickly pop out your phone. Hmm, It is 9:00AM April 1, 2012 well that puts you about 1 years before the incident occurred. In fact, this was the day you moved into the shady town of Bakersfield, Massachusetts. You think about the reason why you moved here.........

Unfortunately get caught burning things a few times, and you are on the run. You needed a small out of the place area to hide yourself from the authorities. So here you are

Good News: The less sane you are the easier it is for you to perform flesh craft.
Bad News: Also, no one wants to talk to an insane person. If your sanity ever dips below 50, the hospital may dismiss you or force you into 'Therapy' which you are pretty certain is a white padded jail cell. Also, creating reasonable plans is a bit difficult when you are insane.
Insight- A normal human possess no Insight.
Good News: The more Insight you have, the easier you can understand Eldritch lore and see the world like the great ones see it.

Oh, Rachel Moore, you remember apparently she kept pestering you to fill out those stupid forms and write a summary one year ago. Seriously you filled out the stupid forms, what does she need your life story for. She also commits suicide in a very elaborate painful manner next month. Well at least, she stopped pestering you for your life story.
Meh, might as well write your life story, you know she isn't going to relent till she obtains what she wants. One small summary is infinitely less painless than a month of nagging from her.

Right that should do it and send. You decide to burn a few more hours checking your mail. You manage to jog your memory a bit.
You start work on about April 16. That leaves you about 2 weeks of free time before you have to head off to work. You also have 3 weeks of vacation after the first month of work. Your salary is surprisingly good in spite of your... incident at your previous place of work. Well, the hospital did cover it up, in order to save their own reputation. You should be able to afford pretty much anything as long as it isn't a mansion, private jet, or something equally ridiculously exorbitant.
Well now that the boring stuff is over, time for fun, you haven't had much opportunity to transport your research materials. Still, you have a few samples lying here and there mostly in your work with plant tissues. Unfortunately, your experiments with mammals, lizards, and other animals had to be destroyed in order to save your ...legal privileges. Seriously, the law and masses are way to squeamish.

Your research notes are well-ordered, and the latest batch of enhanced plants are coming out well. They are currently an interesting mix of tissues. You have not only managed to add visual sensory eyes on to the venus fly traps, but also a flexible stem capable of movement along with teeth holding containing a set of paralysis poisons. Thankfully, these fly traps are capable of hiding their unusual characteristics and are completely loyal to you... mostly like... 80% loyal.
The main problem is these predators are immobile. If you want to develop a mobile experiment, you will need to acquire more materials if you want to create something better. You could also try and perform further modifications on your current batch of plants. It will still require you to go out and grab some genetic samples, but it will be less than say creating a whole new organism.
You will not be able to benefit from any of these modifications yourself unless you get an apprentice or someone you trust to fleshcraft graft them oh you , or you get some more hospital equipment to create a serum to do it for you.
Both of these have their drawbacks, one require you to teach somebody and hope he gets it right, and the other requires you to be stealing hospital resources. Also developing a serum takes longer and has a higher chance of unexpected consequences than using your fleshcraft grafting.
Well time to get to work.

Well, you still need to interview them, or you could just blind accept them. It really depends if you want to waste the rest of the week arranging time to meet with them. I think Tharsis and Patil would prove to be the most useful. Patil would help up with the hospital giving us more time to experiment and Tharsis expands our abilities without focusing too much on one discipline.
