This discussion will be concerning a hypothetical Valkyria Chronicles game, inspired by the VC idea discussions back over on SB and AH.com.
The general premise of this game would concern the East Europan Imperial Alliance suffering a revolution and eventual civil war, akin to the Russian and Chinese civil wars of the OTL early 20th century.
I foresee a war involving multiple warlord factions vying for control or attempting to declare independence from the Empire, with war crimes abound and temporary alliances being broken and reformed within a single week.
Of course, for such a revolution to happen, it would require the Empire to have suffered a significant loss during the Second Europan War - either due to the conflict being ended in an anticlimactic and extremely unsatisfying manner, or a total defeat on the part of the Empire.
Who would be the main character? Would they side with the Imperial government or the revolutionaries? Who would be the main antagonist? Would there be returning characters from the previous games? What actions would the Atlantic Federation and other nations engage in? How would the war end? What would be the fate of the Darcsens?
