I wanna try making up some sort of strange Mythos
Rule 1: You can add up to 5 facts about the setting per post, but you cannot continue adding facts after posting until someone else posts
Rule 2: All facts are canon unless they contradict any previously established facts and or break the rules
Rule 3: The foundation of the setting is on 1920s Earth, and the general public there are not allowed to know that the supernatural exists
I'll start us off
1: The Highest Plane/The Garden/The Home Of Eternity, that which many occultists seek to reach, the peak of divinity, also where the one thing that will outlast all resides
A pretty little flower that won't wilt, nothing more, nothing less
2: The Art Of Unfinished Stairs is commonly practiced by the descendants of the Lost Merchant, rituals and such to help transport them impossible distances, but never all the way to their destination
Also the power sometimes does manifest as actual stairs just standing there in the open that you've gotta walk up for them to teleport you
3: The 3-Eyed Tiger is a powerful thing, invoke it only when necessary
Claw marks on the walls of the old speakeasy
Scent of coffee in the air
A trio of red lights paying attention to your every movement
Cats gather in worship even from across town
4: Natural Candles
The manmade ones of wax are but pale imitations of these constructs (They don't even light themselves, pathetic), the conditions for where they grow are unknown and they're rare, but what is known is that they're made of a material similar to fungus, and that they make great ritual ingredients
5: (NOT)ROME is a realm slightly adjacent to Earth, far smaller in comparison to the material universe, only the size of a continent, it is a mere sketch of a world
It is vast marble city of near endless decadence, where the (NOT)ROMANS live, trying to harness divine power through the mastery of their bodies, having reached levels of strength unmatched by man, and resembling statues more then a living human due to their training methods, but are still (somewhat) beings of flesh
It's origins may be related to the SCULPTED-EMPERORS, the rulers of this realm, a dynasty of those who have mastered the Formbound Imitation Of Divinity
