Legend of an Utterly Gutsy Self insert? (Naruto SI/???)

What am I doing? I already have so many others that are not complete.... Great I'm just digging myself a deeper hole aren't I? Well. On with the story. Which hopefully will not die after 2 or 3 chapters....

This was definitely not Brockton Bay, and I was definitely not in my body.

From the memories that are currently flowing through my mind and from what I can see, this was the with world of Naruto..... And I had been dropped into Jiraiya's body just a few minutes before the man had met Naruto...

Currently I was standing on a bridge in front the Public Hotsprings.

One thing I found nice was the fact that Jiraiya was Loaded.

With a capital L.

It's the dollar dollar bills y'all!

He had so much money from all the missions he had done as well as the money he had gained from writing the entire Icha icha series.

Well I suppose I may as well continue what he was trying to do, not peeping mind you I was a believer of true love, as corny as it was.

He was going to train Naruto if I recall correctly, though maybe he was not?

I shrugged. Who knew?

Well I suppose taking a Bath wouldn't hurt?

I sat down relaxing as I submerged in a corner of the hot spring, opposite from them, where I watched Ebisu trying to teach Naruto how to water walk and failing spectacularly!

Neither of them had noticed me yet and there was no one else in the men's side... Not sure why though.

*Splash*

"Owowowoow Hot HOT!"

Yes..

From my memories... Sealing is more like Art than a system.

From what I've watched and from my memories how Sealing works from the new memories in this body, I theorize that sealing depends on the impression that the sealer has when he writes the seal...

Which was why Sealing has no set way.

When Naruto screamed Believe it he was onto something...

Chakra behaved unlike anyother energy I have known. It literally gives the middle finger to all the rules of the universe as long as you have enough belief in it.

That's why fire suppressant seals have a huge Kanji for fire in the middle.

It also why Sai's Sealing art works with literal paintings...

The original Jiraya was more of a Methodical guy. Most people has the impression that Sealing is some crazy difficult thing when it's actually just Chakra that's doing most of the work... Sealing just amplifies the effext by using the casters belief, that is if my theory was correct.

"Ahem.. Excuse me?"

I snapped out of my thoughts and looked up from my musings. It was Ebisu. Naruto was still trying to walk on water... And failing...

"Yes? How can I help you? " I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Are you.... Jiraya? The legendary Sannin?"

"I am."

"Ah." he gave a respectful nod and a short bow. "It's an honor to meet you Jiraiya-Sama!"

"Hey SENSEI! What are you doing talking with an old man instead of training me like you were supposed to?" The blond yelled, wet and annoyed at his teacher.

"Naruto!" Ebisu gaped in indignation. "Show some respect. THIS is Lord Jiraiya!"

"Who?"

"NARUTO." Ebisu paused this time. "this is the teacher of the Fourth Hokage! Jiraiya is a Legendary Ninja. How can you not know him?"


Naruto looked at me as his eyes widened.

"No WAY!"

I nodded. "Yeah. Minato was one of my brightest students. Though...." my face darkness as emotions not my own flowed through me. "it apparently wasn't enough to keep him alive."

Shaking my head and clearing my thoughts I turned to the two of them. "So you're trying to learn water walking?"

Ebisu sighed. "Yes, though unfortunately Naruto has a lot of problems with his Chakra control. We've been at this for hours yet he seems to show no signs of improvement."


"Hey, you better believe that I'll master this excersise before the Exams. Believe it!"

"Hmmmm, Naruto, hold up your shirt please." I asked as I put on a towel and got out of the bath.

"Huh? What for?"

"I think I might have an idea of why you are unable to complete the excersise."

"OH."

I walked over to him and squared as he lifted his shirt.

"Channel some Chakra to your stomach."

"Okay? Why?"

"I need to see if there is something wrong with the seal."

Naruto and Ebisu's face went white at that and the boy quickly began to channel his Chakra.

As the seal appeared and I marveled at Minato's work.

It had Elements of the Uzumaki in it especially the spiral which every Uzumaki seal has...

Then there were the blocks that Orochimaru placed.

One of each element to block any form of Chakra.

Though the elemts here were not the Chakra nature's. They were the five symbolic elements.

METAL.

WOOD.

WATER.

FIRE.

EARTH.

This further proved my theory right...

"Alright, I think I figured out the problem. HOLD STILL."

"Hold wha-"

"Gogyo-Kain" five finger lit up on my hand with chkara each one forming an opposing element to the blocks that Orochimaru place and gently placed my fingers on the block.

The opposing elements canceled each other out removing the block and allowing Naruto's Chakra to flow freely once more and I removed my hand.

"Woah, I feel much better now... Thanks Old man!"

"You're welcome kid." I was not really insulted when he called me old considering this was the second time I've reincarnated in a fictional world. "Why don't you try water walking now?"

I let a out a small smile as Naruto whooped in joy as he finally succeeded in the excersise.

"Yeah I did it! At this rate I'll become Hokage in No time at all Believe it." He paused before looking at me and pondering about something. "Hey you taught the Fourth Hokage right?"

"Yes?"

He grinned as an idea struck him. "Then you can teach me and I'll become Hokage in no time Believe it, beside this closet pervert is not that strong anyways."

"Naruto." Ebisu began by pushing his sunglasses up. "I am a perfect gentleman, not a pervert and besides Jiraiya is a very important ninja in the village. I'm sure he has many important duties to do."

I nodded "Indeed I am the Villages spy master, which means my job is to collect vital information for the village."I paused.

The poor kid looked crest fallen.

I then continued. "However, that doesn't mean I cannot teach you in between jobs or when I am free. And since I am free for most of the month... Well, you'll need to ask your sensei for permission. If he does allow it, then I'll be happy to train you to become a fine Shinobi."

Naruto turned his puppy eyes to ebisu.... Who was no match for it and relented.

"Yattaa! This is so awesome!" And now he was running circles on the hotsprings.

I let out a small chuckle... This might be interesting...

I looked down at the scroll that had appeared in front of me with a literal burst of light.

Seriously? Every single you in the MULTIVERSE that I have sent the worm CYOA always picked Goddamn Power Manipulation and Kaleidoscope.

No. This will not stand.

I've Locked away Kaleidoscope until Kaguya is defeated and No Power Manipulation for you.
Though this you did choose Words of power... Which was a first for every single eiteration of you so I'll let you keep it.

Write down anything else and I'll let you have it. You have 5 Points. And don't you dare take Eidolon or some other ridiculous overpowered bullshit or I'll rip you a new asshole!

Also, if you are worried about Jiraiya, don't be. Your memories were simply sealed after you were reincarnated.

From what I remember I had filled in a Worm CYOA the third version. And also there were several me's across the MULTIVERSE... Who would have thought?


First things first though this world is a damn scary world.

So... Alexandria..

Hmmm.

But what? Something that can be powerful with training but not too powerful that might anger Rob.

Right.

I'll just ask to use the rest of my points to increase my chakra capacity and regeneration... Oh bring my body back to my prime without any outward appearances.


I quickly wrote those two down on the scroll.

As soon as I did. I got a response.

Finally, good... You didn't take something too ridiculous.

With that the scroll burst into flames and I felt it.

I felt like I could move a mountain.

Like I could take on the world.

The slight aches and pains I had on my joint had all but vanished.

I could also feel a my chakra growing exponentially. Holy Mother of that's a lot of chakra. I think I just passed Naruto in sheer amount... From what I could feel about twice what Naruto has... This is ridiculous.

Though considering how much chakra he might gain when Naruto gets access to Kurama's Chakra this might not be much... ..

But still with this much chakra and how fast my chakra seems to be regenerating now?

Yeah I don't think I have anything to worry about...

Hell I might rival Kisame in terms of sheer Chakra Capacity... Though I will only know for sure when I meet him.

Well... This was interesting.... But now I need sleep.

"Yo. Kid." I waved at at his as I appeared right behind him in a shushin.

I watch amused as Naruto choked on his ramen and coughed.

I gave him a light pat on the back to help him clear his airways and took a seat beside him.

"Oh, hey sensei, what are you doing here."

"What do you think I'm doing here kid? This is a Ramen stand. I came here to eat kid. Besides I used to come here all the time with Minato."

"Ah, Jiraiya-Sama! Welcome!"

I grinned.

I was Jiraiya but at the same time I was more. I kind of understood why my memories were sealed... I might have butterflied Naruto out of existence had I got my memories earlier.

"Yo, Teuchi. One Uzumaki Habanero special please!"

Teuchi's eyes widened at that... It was a special dish that Teuchi had made to celebrate Minato and Kushinas marriage.

"Jiraiya-Sama" his voice wavered.

I nodded at him.

"I see, Coming right right up! Jiraiya-Sama! It's good to have you back. "

"Uzumaki Habanero?" Naruto questioned as he picked up the Manu and searched through it. "There nothing like that in the menu!"

"Naruto." I began slowly. "The Uzumaki Habanero is a secret menu Item made specially for one person." I paused. "It was made for Uzumaki Kushina, your Mother."

Naruto blinked as he stated at me. I could see the gears in his head turning.

"My Mother?" His voice quivered."You knew my mother?"

"Yeah... Yeah I did. She was great woman. One of the finest Kunoichi ever."

"Can... Can you tell me about her?" His voice was quiet. Completely the opposite of how he usually was.

"Of course." I smiled and so I began to talk about the Red hot Habanero. I told him of how she was feard in the academy for beating up bullies who called her a tomato because of her beautiful red hair and how pudgy she was when she was small.

I told him the story of how his father saved her from Kumo ninja who tried to kidnap her and how she fell in love with him.

I told him of how she became one of the most powerful Shinobi in the leaf, feared by her enemies far and wide.

"Where is she?"

And then I told him that she had died fighting against the Nine tails. She had died protecting him from the nine tails.

"Did she love me?" His voice barely a whisper, his ramen cold.

"She loved you more than anything in the world kid. Both of your parents gave their lives to protect you."

"Where were you? Couldn't you save them?"

"If I was in the village at that time I wouldn't hesitate to do so. But even the third couldnt help them. They placed a barrier to keep anyone from interfering, why, I do not know."

"Who's my dad?"

I sensed around to see if anyone was eavesdropping before slapping a small privacy seal on the table and channelled chakra into it to activate it.

"Your father's name was... Namikaze Minato."

"That's... But the old man said he didn't know."

"Don't blame the old man... He's so old he probably went senile. But if I have to guess he thought that you would have went screaming at the top of your lungs who your father was which would be asking Iwa to send assassins after you. Considering the amount of enemies you father made in the war. But honestly I think that's a load of bull."

"Why did Dad seal the fox inside me?"

"Now that's is a question I cannot answer."

Then tears began streaming down his cheeks. "Thank you." He whispered. "Thank you."

"Mhhmm." I nodded and gently pulled him into an embrace. Ilooked up."Oi Teuchi two Uzumaki Habaneros for the kid!"

"Coming right up! IT'S ON THE house today!"

I kept him in a gentle emblacr as he balwed his little eyes out and handed him a handkerchief. "thank you"

"Mhhmmm" I nodded as I removed the silencing seal. Sometimes all someone needed was a shoulder to lean on and sometimes the truth helps better that a lie.... Unfornately it was something the Shinobi world doesn't have much of.

"So, so what ha gonna teach me, old man? A new cool jutsu?" It has been a few days since I last saw Naruto, here we were in training ground 15, which had a waterfall and several women in swimsuits playing in the river. But that wasn't what I came here for.

"Naruto be respectful, this is Lord Jiraiya." Ebisu reprimanded the little blond knucklehead.

I chuckled at that. "Hmmm, perhaps if you do well in training I'll teach you a very special jutsu, one that only a very few ninjas have."

"Alright! I'll be Hokage in no time believe it!" Naruto pumped a fist into the air in excitement.

I had been considering what to teach Naruto for a while. Something that would give him the edge, something that would help him a lot.

And of everything, there was one thing that stood out.

"Alright, first make me a Shadow clone."

"Huh for what?"

"Don't worry, you'll know why."

Naruto nodded and formed a cross-shaped seal. "Kage bunshin no jutsu." A clone puffed into existence next to him.

"Good, now I want the clone to follow me, Naruto you wait here with Ebisu for a while."

I lead the clone away from the clearing into the woods.

"So why are we here?"

"For this." I gave him a "Light" punch in the gut and the clone eyes were wide from the pain before it popped.

"AARGH!" came Naruto's Voice from the clearing.

"Hey, you hit me!" Naruto accused glaring at me as I returned back to the clearing.

"No, I didn't."

"But! I know what I felt! I even remember you hitting me." He yelled confused and indignant.

"That's good, then this training will go quite fast."

"Huh."

"Naruto." Ebisu interrupted "Are you sure they are your memories or your clones?"

The blonds eyed widened as understanding seemed to dawn him. "Wait how do I know what happened to my clone?"

Ebisu sighed as he began to lecture Naruto the properties of Shadow clones.

I have to give it to the guy, he may not be super strong but this guy has his theory down pat. No wonder he's such a sought after teacher.

"So every time the clone dispels I know what happened to it?"

"Correct." Ebisu nodded pushing up his glasses.

"So how does this help me train?"

"Alright, Naruto." I began. "Imagine you're learning a jutsu." He was paying rapt attention now. "But to learn this jutsu you need a hundred days."

"Eh! I don't have a hundred days before the Exams!" Naruto grumbled.


"But if you use a clone to train with you then disperse it after training every day you will be able to learn it in 50 days since you gain what the clone learns as well."

Naruto's mouth formed an O as he began to realize the implications of the jutsu.

"So if I make a Hundred clones I can learn this awesome jutsu in a Day!" He began bouncing on the balls of his feet. "This is so cool!"


"Yes, it is very cool." I nodded in agreement. "So today I'm going to be teaching you..."


Naruto leaned in eager to hear what I was going to teach."

"how to....." I drawled out the suspense as his eyes shone eagerly.

"Cut things with your bare hands." finished anti-climatically.

Naruto paused stunned for a moment before he released a surprised and disappointed "Hah?"

"Yes, once Master this jutsu, you don't need a Kunai to cut things, you can use your bare hands." I showed him my empty palms dramatically.

Ebisu let a gasp as he understood what I was going to teach. "Jiraiya-sama, you can't mean to teach Naruto that, most Nina's don't begin learning until they are Chunnin!"

Good, that was the reaction I wanted as I saw Naruto look of disappointment turned into awe after hearing what Ebisu said. Phrasing it as a new jutsu for him to use instead of a Nature Manipulation exercise would be combined with Ebisu's reaction got me the result I was looking for.

"I'll master this technique Believe it!" Naruto's grin was wide. And Ebisu sputtered, confused as to why I was teaching him this.

"Good. First I want you to make a hundred clones and have each of them pick a leaf from one of the trees."

"Let's do this! Tajuu Kage-Bunshin no jutsu." and the next moment a hundred clones popped into existence all around us and even the real one began to move to take one of his own before I stopped him is his tracks placing a hand on his shoulder.

He looked at me and I answered the unasked question. "I have different training for you. While your clones train with the jutsu I'll be training you in Taijutsu, you are going to fight a Hyuuga after all."

"Oh, I see." He nodded. "So you're going to be training me some super kick-ass Taijutsu technique."

"Hmmm." I couldn't exactly call what I had in mind a technique so I didn't really agree or deny it.

"This is so cool! I'm learning from one of the teachers of the fourth!" he said giving me bright smile... My heart lurched at how honest the kid was. Seriously a bit of attention and the kid latched onto me.

"Say, say. Since you taught Dad then you must know the techniques he also knows right?"

Yeah, the kid more than deserved it. "Sure, I can do that, but one at a time. We'll finish this training first. I'll teach you a few techniques that Minato knew."

He let out a radiant smile at that tears at the edge of his eyes. "Thank you."

The thank-you he whispered contained so much heart that I almost grabbed the boy in a hug right then and there.

But this wasn't the time or place for manly hugs and besides the clones were waiting for my instructions patiently seeing the situation.

"Alright," I began every one got a leaf?"

I get several shouts of agreement and then I began of explaining how they were supposed to use there Chakra to cut the leaf before I left the clones to their devices while I brought Naruto a few ways away from the clones.

"Alright, stand right over there." I pointed right in front of me as we stood on top of the smooth earth that I had evened out yesterday.

"Now what?"

The patch we were standing on also happens to have written a huge seal matrix on it yesterday which was now glowing a bright blue. A seal matrix that multiplied gravity over a set area.

I sat on the ground in a comfortable position and began channelling my chakra into the seal activating it. Causing Naruto to buckle under the strain as he tried to stay upright, but leaving me unaffected thanks to the ridiculous strength and physics nullifying field Alexandria package provided.

"What the hell?"

"Gravity Multiplication Seal: 1.5 times normal gravity. If you can get used to walking around in this well, your strength and speed will become much much greater."

"Alright!" He said gritting his teeth as he continued to remain standing. "I can do this, believe it!"

It took nearly two hours before Naruto finally collapsed on the ground hard, tired and I stopped channelling chakra letting the gravity over the area return to normal as the seal deactivated.

"How did I do?" He panted as he rolled facing me his muscles tired from being pushed so hard for so long.

"Very well for your first day, how about we go get some Ramen. My treat?" I offered knowing it would get some energy back into him.

"Yatta." He cheered tiredly but not even moving from the spot. I guess he must be really exhausted huh? He might crash if he disperses his shadow clones now. Best get some food into him first.

I signalled Ebisu that I was leaving before I took naruto and carried him on my back.

And for the first time, I took off into the sky towards Ichiraku in view of someone else.

I could feel Naruto amazement as I grinned. "You're flying! That is so awesome!"

"I know right?" my grin widened, by the time I was done training him, I was going to bring him to atleast high chunin level or perhaps Tokujo.

He might have failed the academy thrice, but that was because there was no one to put in the effort to teach the kid.

One's Nature didn't mean one could only use that Natured jutsu. It just meant that they found it the easiest to learn and master.

So theoretically one could learn and master five nature Chakra, Yin and Yang Chakra. And Hiruzen sensei proved it.

I had mastered Fire, water and earth Chakra manipulations.

A few training grounds away several of my own clones were training as well, training to master wind Chakra manipulation as well.

"We are here," I informed the tired boy, landing in front of Ichiraku's ignoring all the people staring at me as I gently let Naruto down, who seemed to have regained a bit of energy as he walked in and sat down to order. "

"Oyaji, one Uzumaki Habanero Special!!"

"A chicken ramen for me," I added as I sat down as well.

"Coming right up!"

This was going to be an interesting month.
