Introduction
Hello, and welcome to Legend. After watching the latest Spider-Man, I got the itch to start a story quest in the Marvel Universe. The quest will involve creating your own super-powered being and dealing with the events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There will be spoilers up to Endgame, but I will avoid anything relevant to Far from Home until that point is reached. By that time, I'm expecting things to have drastically changed anyways.

Anyways, I hope everyone enjoys.

Quest System
Most of you know what a SQ is by now, but for those who don't, a story quest is an interactive fictional narrative. It is similar to the choose your own adventure books or a forum based tabletop game. Participants will be given votes on how they want the story to develop.

The actual quest system will be based on the DnD 5e and Palladium's Ultimate Hero systems, but modified for a super-powered/forum setting. You will have nine attributes and each reflects certain skills/abilities. The following are your attributes and the skills they effect.

Constitution: Affects your health, ability to resist diseases and take damage.
Dexterity: Reflects how agile your character is. Affects Armor Class, initiative, stealth, sleight of hand, and acrobatics.
Power: Directly effects athletics. Higher power correlates to more damage, but also the magnitude of your super power.
Control: Determines how much control you have over your abilities. High power with low control can result in interesting results.
Intelligence: Affects your Tech knowledge, history knowledge, investigation skill, magical knowledge, medicine, academics, and tactical skill.
Charisma: Affects your persuasion, deception, intimidation, performance and leadership skills.
Wisdom: Affects your perception, religion, insight, animal handling, and mental health attribute.

The numbers and modifiers will follow the DnD tables. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Not knowing what we'll have to choose power-wise, this seems like a good base.

[X] College Student (Average stats, no strengths or weaknesses. In debt.)

Early start to build up and I feel like a college student would have more independence compared to a high school student.
The debt is added motivation, too.

Even if we manage just a fraction of the chill the original Dude has I would be super content.

A scientist working for Hammer Industries successfully invents forcefield technology, but his boss Justin Hammer only cares about armoured suits. Finally losing patience with his boss's idiotic (attempted) rivalry with Tony Stark, Christopher decides to show off the tech as a superhero.
