I think that the upcoming mess will be more genuine (and funnier) if we make a genuine, relatable attempt at NOT being a mess. It'll fail, of course, because IIRC we're playing a teenager, but it'll be all the better for having tried!

I just finished reading the quest a day or two ago, and I thought it was great. Now you give us this scene, and I realize it is, in fact, even better. Come on, Maddie, focus! Basic human interaction with a cute girl, you can do it!
