Huh, it's rare for me to be able to get in one the ground floor of quests. The only choice I really want more than the others would be the Unbound vote. I am kind of curious about what it will actually give us. I mean, do we ever see what exactly being unbound entails for Karen?

From what i can tell its cybernetic transhumanism since Karan has lived for centuries and most likely has an intellect far exceeding many.
Well yes. But what does it mean for us? there is obviously a major benefit to it or it wouldn't be a thing but Karen still needed people working under her. Would we be a singular person unbound or would we be a bunch of people all hooked in?

the one unbound has intimate control of his/her ship and is able to command a fleet while taking up many other duties originally signed to other staff and systems. Basically saying that rather than have four guys on radar you have two.
Plot wise I wanted it so that people resented the Kiith because the MC IS the only hiigaran besides Karan to be one and since the MC is from a no name kiith it makes the more prominent and powerful Kiiths jealous.

Kiith S'ver, a humble breakaway Kiith of engineers from Kiith S'Ber. You the Kiith'Sa had been an open-minded individual who saw the value in anyone and treated Kiithless and Taiidani with equal rights. The only reason you were tolerated by the S'Ber were because you were of the few Kushan born to be compatible with the same technologies that made Karan S'Jet unbound. You falling in love and marrying a Taiidani was the last straw for you and the S'Ber.

So far your people have had success with their line of shuttles and luxury spacecraft but your people are thinking bigger. MUCH bigger.
S'Ver is building a mother ship and it is doing so above your space station which is close to Kiith Fo'shan, an antagonistic Kiith who has began to hate your Kiith for being succesful.
Turanic Raiders suspiciously pop up right after you argue with a Fo'Shan representative.
Your ship is incomplete but it has at least somethings at the ready:
Main Weapon
[ ] Mining Laser: rig a powerful mining laser into a powerful cutting beam weapon (must orient ship to fire)
[ ] Tactical Missile Launcher: low yield nukes produced internally (time to build missiles)
[ ] Ion Cannon Array: a series of stacked ion beams that mimic Bentusi ion weaponry (energy intensive)
Point Defense
[ ] kinetic guns: rapid fire mass drivers (good against small craft but ineffective against capital ships)
[ ] plasma guns: Plasma guns sets (powerful against frigates and capital ships but makes it difficult to hit small craft)
Small Craft
[ ] Strike Craft Focus (more advanced fighters, bombers, etc.)
[ ] Corvette Focus (more advanced corvette designs)
Frigate and Capital Shift modules are still under construction.
