She's 13 and recently died so I figure she has a right to be upset at Rukia.
 
Change to include the sister, and the strawberry.

[x]First things first, give Rukia a tentative hug, she's sad and that makes you sad.
-[x] Tell her how you gained your powers, and about how you seemed to be normal before that happened.
--[x] You want to get more answers, so you decide to seek out what you can.
---[x] Ask Nejibana if she knows what's going on, and if she remembers this other guy.
----[x] Call dad, you're kind of upset, and maybe he can help you figure out what to do.

------[x] After the talk with dad, suggest you all four go to see if Urahara knows anything more.
-------[x] In the conversation with Dad (and later with Urahara), specifically bring up the details of how you got your powers.

@Blood of Gaea Alright, fair cop, that was intended to be a more emphasized version of "please please please don't tell our family, and especially don't tell Ichigo". Like, we really really don't want Ichigo to know, and I wanted to seriously impress on her that we are telling her this in confidence because it might be relevant and we don't want this to get spread around, since Ichigo will almost certainly be an idiot about it.

Interesting point, but then so did Yuzu? I guess its different for the 13 year old twin to say "oh magic powers are a thing? Yay! Plz don't die for reals but I support whatever you do" compared to how the old man reacts to "magic powers are real, you just didn't know all this time" .

[X]Tell her that we got attacked by a hollow trying to protect a ghost, then, next thing we knew, we were talking to Nejibana in our inner world thing about whether or not we wanted to live.

-[X] If she's still unsatisfied, suggest interrogating Urahara, that guy always seems like he knows something, but odds are he'd just give another mysterious answer.
 
Maybe we should mention the possibility of reincarnation? Sure we know it probably isn't the case OOC, but IC it does make sense.
 
I think the big deal here is that where Karin is concerned its just a talking sword. Swords are things you find and pick up, not generally what you are born with.

She most likely thinks she ran into this magic ghost sword lying around after the owner died

Nejibana said something about how she's my 'birthright', and both she and Hat n Clogs have acted like I should already know a thing or two about shinigami, but she's not answering me right now. I don't know what else to tell you.

When this conversation is over, let Yuzu and Goat Face know about it, including your plans to try and get answers - this whole day has left you feeling pretty down and worn out, and family is supposed to be good at helping you feel better about this kind of stuff, right?
