They stared at each other not knowing what to say or do. Yet neither dared to move for when they did they would have to act.
"Mineta we need more shampoo and we are almost out of snacks" Fuyumi's voice cut through the invisible wall that they had between them.
"So you're."
"Please don't kill me!" Endeavor tried to greet his daughter's boyfriend but the kid panicked and begged for his life.
"Good." Endeavor thought to himself that at least he wouldn't have to threaten the kid by throwing him off a roof from some skyscraper.
"Mineta what's wrong I heard you!? Dad" Fuyumi says as she runs to the door and sees him standing over the purple-haired punk that dared to touch her.
"Mineta ruin!" he hears his daughter scream before a wall of ice grows between him and this Mineta, it was a weak name for a weak man who needed a woman to protect him.
It made his blood boil knowing that that woman was Fuyumi and that the man that she chose to be with was that guy.
The wait in front of him began to melt but it wasn't melting fast enough the walls around him began to burn, but they weren't alone the ceiling and the floor melted by the heat that his body was making.
And yet the wall that his daughter had put between him and them wasn't gone, he was done waiting so he punched the wall as hard as he could.
The ice cracked and then exploded, it was almost hilarious how dramatically the thing had broken.
The room was empty when he walked inside, he ignored the fire that he had started and was now consuming the building behind him. The sprinklers activated and they were now dumping water everywhere, it almost felt like rain.
He would search the place and look for any hidden rooms or fake walls, but his daughter knew him well enough to know that something like that wouldn't stop him so he looked out the window and saw the pair running away.
He turns and looks at the room, maybe he is exaggerating and this entire situation is one big mistake.
It's a normal room, it has a TV, videogames and there are bags of empty snacks, those two were having fun here, maybe that was it and there was nothing else going on.
He walks to the bed and finds Fuyumi's pajamas underneath the pillow, nothing too extreme. He lets out a breath he might just have to apologize, those two could just be friends and he ruined everything for them.
He opens the drawer that's next to the bed and finds pictures of the two going to arcades, movies, and amusement parks together.
That's it the kids gotta die.
"Do you think we lost him?" Mineta asks Fuyumi between gasps as they hide behind a dumpster.
"No he's just taking his time letting us think that we're safe then he will show up on the roof of the closest building, but we will only see him when he turns his fire on." Fuyumi answers Mineta before she pulls him towards an open sewer drain before entering it.
A flash of red and orange light forces the shadows in the sewers to look more frightening than they normally are.
"They were here."
"Fuyumi! If you come out now I'll make his death quick!" Mineta hears Endeavor yell to Fuyumi who tightens her grip on his hand and pulls him even faster.
The sound of fire being blown by the wind was carried into the sewers, the flashes of light that Endeavor made were the only light that they had to guide them but they only stopped running when they couldn't move anymore.
'Mineta. sorry." Mineta hears Fuyumi say to him she sounds like she's crying but he can't see her anymore.
'That's okay I knew your dad was crazy. I mean he's a hero that fights monsters, but I didn't think he was this crazy."
