Welcome readers to Whispering Legion! These are the house rules of this Quest:
  • Everyone has 1 (one) vote each turn. This vote can be used in two ways:
    • [1] Use the vote to make a Command. (Example: Have the minion move to the east!)
      • This makes you give a direct order or action for someone to act upon. Be aware that you have no control of anything outside of your control, like enemy units or forces of nature. Also note that Heroes might not listen to your commands given their personality or traits.
    • [2] Use the vote to vote on commands given by others, thus giving them more priority. (Example: Have the minion move to the east! +1)
      • This reinforces good ideas and in general gives priority to the ones you want to see happen. You only have so many actions to take each turn so you might as well work together on the good ones! No anger if you vote on more than one thing though. Just keep it civil.
  • All dice-rolls will be done by the QM (me) to ensure fairness.
  • Please do not be rude to each other or start yelling about something in this thread. You can talk, just dont get angry, please.
  • This has no schedule. It updates when it updates.
  • New rules may be added as the quest moves on.

  • Ability Legend:
    • Amalgamation: This creature can devour things and creatures to try and steal abilities or stats. After a successful steal this ability goes away.
    • Brittle: Has a higher chance of gaining the Bleed effect.
    • Creation: This creature / building can create something based on a card. The Key Structure can create from any card at the cost of time and resources. Refer to the individual card's tokens to understand what structures can produce from which cards.
    • Farmland: Fertile soil, perfect for planting crops on.
    • Fluid-form: This creature doesnt have a solid state and thus cant have their form crushed. Immune to impact based effects.
    • Key Structure: This building is needed for your very connection to this world to stay strong. If it is destroyed, you lose.
    • Knowledge Storage: Having this skill on anything unlocks the Main Menu.
    • Resting Quarters (n): This building can house the (n) amount of creatures for when resting is necessary. Usually creatures need to sleep at night.
    • Research: This creature / building is able to take resources or cards that are already known and try to generate something new based on it. It will ask for resources needed to do it and then needs to be left alone until the research is complete.
    • World Link: The Voice Lords can ring out their joyous echoes from this creature / building, commanding what they occupy or whoever acts under them.

Woot! Hey Dex!

As for cards...

[X] Slime. A creature of almost limitless versatility, limited to only what they can digest. Which is pretty much anything, really! A slime takes up characteristics of whatever it feeds upon. Some even say that larger slimes can gain intelligence and form...

for the creature. i like slimes.

I shall let others decide upon the free cards.

Holy shit. The amount of work and skill you have have made me an instant follower Dex. This is...I require more it.

[X] The card to the left will be made with these key words: [Building] [Advancement]

I wanted to go i with [Building] [Whisper] [Extension] but I'm not sure how that'd go over. So I'll go for the typical research building instead.

EDIT: Whisper change below

[X] The card to the right will be made with these key words: [Building] [Creature]

Hopefully this will be something to help get more creatures or run them, though I'm not sure.

So we need to define our cards more so than a few key words then? Alright, hows this?
[X] The card to the right will be made with these key words: [Building] [Creature]. The building is a factory full of various pits and pools in all manner of colors, from these come the occasional copy of creatures already under our control, while also allowing for the ability to modify them. The outside looks like a cross between an industrial age factory and a multi stack warship, only without the weapons. It is also a mix of green and blue with giant metal doors allowing entrance and exit. There are also bunks inside for creatures that need sleep.

We do still need something for the left card...
Well here's something if you really need it, though I'm sticking with my creature thing.

{} The card to the left will be made with these key words: [Building] [Advancement]. It takes the form of a simple square red building on the outside, the inside though is filled with labs and testing facilities. With all manner of places to research and conduct experiments, with limited production facilities for prototypes and modifications on preexisting items. With the various sections being color coded in the halls to make it easier to tell which is which. Alongside a library to hold all written findings.

There, modify or scrap as you wish.

[X] The card on the left: [Spell] [Destruction]. This spell summons two giant, gold, ectoplasmatic hands from the sky to destroy a designated target. They may shift into weapons to cause more destruction.

Well it's certainly the prettiest quest I've ever seen.

Unexpected problem: Image based updates do not give an alert that the GM has updated to those that use that system.

Dex, you should uh. Maybe put some junk text in a spoiler to trigger that, next time. Around 750 characters, I think. I'll talk to you on steam in a couple hours, not on my main computer.

[X] Spawn a slime!

Oh, and in addition,

[X] Have the whisperlings investigate trees and rocks for resource potential.

[X] Make a slime
What is ISG? I can't say I'm familiar with it though this looks like bloody great fun.
