Welcome to Day to Day Adventurer, my second attempt at a Quest on this forum and the first one that has been properly thought through! The person you will be controlling in this is Gromrust the Glorog!

Based on the conversation taking place, one can grasp that what we need for him to finish his first evaluation is:
  • A last name, to the Glorogs, this last name is a COLOR! It has a special meaning to the Glorog itself because it's based on what clan they hail from.
  • An element, the natural alignment of his inner self's power. Basically, a magick type. Given the nature of this universe though, the types of magick is basically endless. From Pyromancers to Code Magi to Pantsamancers to steel mages. Anything goes, ice, chairs, minerals, flesh, anything. If the thing has concept, it can be an element of magick. That is what this is.
  • An affinity for said element, which basically means "how in tune is the inner self with this element?" There are a few tiers to this:
    • 0% = Dud. There are no connection at all in this person, their element exists in them but there is just no way to access it. It is simply as if it isnt there at all. No spells at all can be learned from this level.
    • 1-10% = Allergic. They are susceptible to the element to such a degree that it actually "attracts" to them. Those in this range of the fire element for example have a higher chance of catching fire. Electronics element makes them have a chance to fail or fry or just make errors, doll element will have them gazing at the person at all times, basically a negative effect based on the element. They still learn some spells from it at this point, but not a lot.
    • 11-35% = Connected. The range that most people are in. They feel at home around their element, and learn some spells form the pool related to it. Some never get training or awaken to their spells, leaving them acting like duds but they are still in this range. The element is in tune in a way that is "common, hard to see as being there."
    • 36-69% = Gifted. Their element seems to flow with their natural flow and many spells from its pool can be learned. They will feel better with the element close to them at all times, either making it themselves or wearing it in some way. Some become very focused in it, some even succumb to a drive to seek it constantly. Most magi are in this range, either trained, awakened to or otherwise.
    • 70-100% = Transformed. At 70 and above, the element is no longer part of their innards, their bodies have changed to be made out of the element itself to the percent that the affinity is at. Scissor element leaves the people made out of clicking blades, bubbles made from a fragile but ever growing mass of bubbles, chairs will have dents and extra legs that can click out of their legs. Very few get to this point, and those who do can start to learn some amazing abilities from their powers. These people are often very quirky.
    • 153%?! = Avatar of [ELEMENT]. = This cannot be chosen at this point, but is basically the mysterious state that those who are totally in tune with their element transcends to. At this point, their element is them and they are their element. They become masters of the laws and realities of the element at hand, allowing themselves to simply, be. Some call those few in this group gods. Others call those who call these gods, "idiots".
      • A tiny note, if I may: Please refrain from choosing the "immortal" element. It is one of the only elements known to directly act like the "allergic" tier, no matter the elemental affinity. Yes even if its a dud. Immortal elemented people have an odd tendency to die early.
  • Lastly, we need a weapon. That one shouldn't need much of an explanation. You can have several things Gromrust likes to use.
With that, I give you time to think, point out, vote and setup what you want. Gromrust needs his evaluation finished, his adventuring life awaits!

  • Everyone has 1 (one) vote each turn. This vote can be used in two ways:
    • [1] Use the vote to make a Command. (Example: Have the minion move to the east!)
      • This makes you give a direct order or action for someone to act upon. Be aware that you have no control of anything outside of your control, like enemy units or forces of nature. Also note that Heroes might not listen to your commands given their personality or traits.
    • [2] Use the vote to vote on commands given by others, thus giving them more priority. (Example: Have the minion move to the east! +1)
      • This reinforces good ideas and in general gives priority to the ones you want to see happen. You only have so many actions to take each turn so you might as well work together on the good ones! No anger if you vote on more than one thing though. Just keep it civil.
    • If you change your decision, please quote the vote you want or make a new one further in. The newest ones are the ones counted.
  • Please do not be rude to each other or start yelling about something in this thread. You can talk, just dont get angry, please.
  • This has no schedule. It updates when it updates.
  • New rules may be added as the quest moves on.

So you aren't counting the options individually? Because, if you are, black won by one.

[X] What do Adventure's guilds actually do? How do they make money? What is my first quest?

I guess I'll just go with this for now.
