So, who would be interested in a wide-open sandbox RP based off of the first editions of White Wolf's New World of Darkness RPG's?
We'd use the following gamelines....
Vampire: The Requiem
Werewolf: The Forsaken
Mage: The Awakening
Promethean: The Created
Changeling: The Lost
Hunter: The Vigil
Geist: The Sin-Eaters
Mummy: The Curse
The Second Edition gamelines Demon: The Descent and Beast: The Primordial would NOT be in play and we would not be using the Second Edition rules. There will be two major modifications in Vampire: The Requiem, in that vampires are no longer automatically emotionally dead, and the Strix do not exist in this RP. For now, we will only be using materials found in the corebooks for simplicity's sake. But I may add more supplementary First Edition material as we go along.
The idea I had for the setting is that it is a tribute to the old monster movies of the mid-20th Century (think Universal Horror and Hammer Horror) and would most likely be set in the 1950s and early 1960s in the fictional East Coast city of Empire Bay. (If more realism is demanded, I can set it in either Boston or New York City).
Would anyone be interested?
