Congratulations, [Insert-name-here]! You have been granted one (1) set of superpowers! All for the low, low, price of your immortal soul eternal servitude a brief period of employment! You are required by your benefactor to settle an uninhabited version of Earth. You have been provided with dimension hopping abilities to allow you to recruit citizens and helpers. Once your homestead is self-sustaining, you are free to do as you wish! To begin with, we require one year's stay on said planet to acclimate you. Better get packing, you leave in a week!

One Year Later…

Congratulations on surviving for a year by yourself! You now begin the next step of your journey: travel and recruitment! Please choose from the following areas to travel to. Once there, you must recruit at least one (1) sentient being to willingly follow you to Nova Terra and live there. Good luck!

Travel destinations:

[]Forgotten Realms: The most well known D&D setting, you will arrive shortly after the events of NWN 1.

[]Fallout 4: A malfunction left the Sole Survivor dead in their cryotube. See if you can't peel away some wastelanders.

[]RWBY: Honestly, I don't know much about this setting besides R34. But it's a deathworld, so people will be clamoring to leave.

A/N: Inspired by a fic idea I had and wrote part of. If you're wondering what the year was like, I have it in my snippet thread here.

[X] RWBY

I think it's a neat name also RWBY would get us some superpowered people who would probably be willing to settle in somewhat extreme environments. Also we can get animal people which is fun.

Agree that RWBY would probably be a good source of recruits, at the very least faunus who are said to be treated as second class citizens and oppressed. However if the OP hasn't seen it then it might as well be an original setting (and RWBY's writing tends to leave alot to be desired, especially for the who faunus oppression/white fang plot).

So Fallout 4 it is. I imagine we could make contact with the Railroad and they could help us get in contact with people who want to leave the wasteland. Many of them could be synths but there should be plenty of humans as well. Plus, as a more secretive organization used to working around the other factions, they would be a better choice to contact than the Brotherhood of Steel or Institute.

The Minutemen could be another good faction to ally with. They protect people and settlements and could help protect settlements in danger or evacuate people who'd rather leave the dangers behind.
