Has anyone thought of copying from all those post-apocalyptic quests for rwby?
Let's say..... Ruby's Silver eyes didn't freeze just the dragon. It froze the entirety of Vale. In that moment, the time within vale stopped.
Time was stopped. There was no way in, nor out. They could not even start to break into the time freeze. So, a new hunter academy was created, along with a new city. But the fallen city of vale was always remembered.
Several thousand years later, the 4 kingdoms have shattered, and no one remembers Beacon. Forests, foliage, and all sorts of things have sprung up around the frozen city. Add in several years for everyone to forget, and a remote location, and the city is lost. Just a fairy tale of a city frozen in time, one told by mothers to their children.
But one day, the spell ends. Maybe something changed in the aura. Maybe the timer ended. But Beacon and Vale are now back in time, several thousand years in the future. The 4 kingdoms have fallen, and the Academies are but a distant memory. The world is now divided up into shattered feudal states, and the grimm rampageacross the surface of Remnant.
