Also, the Sufficient Velocity/Spacebattles hobby makes sure that all our fanfiction is of high quality, yes? No stereotypical yaoi/slash/Mary-Sue/Wish fulfillment fanfics?
 
Well, there may be Mary-Sue/Wish fulfillment fanfics but they will be laced with the scathing snarkiness to balance it out into a generally semi-insulting but competent criticism of current events and ideologies.

Also, I was wondering about something hypothetical and political but I don't know weather to open the thread in the Chat board or the Current Events board.

Also, I haven't read too many HP fanfics, and usually Daphne didn't appear in them at all (I tend towards the best of the peggy sue stories. It's a guilty pleasure).

The Nerd is part way through a week long temp ban from SB for starting a pointless derailing flame war putting an idiot in their place, and is not quite as active on SV, but has recently become more so with the ban. You've written several snippets in general discussion threads (which were well received), but most of the time you just lurk and read other people's quests, fiction, and debates, since your posting hasn't always been the most...effective in general (not that you'll admit this).
