This is a thread for little one-shot poems of mine. I can't promise any sort of consistent schedule, as inspiration is unpredictable. Here's the first poem.
Dignity Costs Extra
(inspired by my recent experiences with Spirit Airlines)
Fly through the air!
We'll get you there!
But don't you dare,
to think we care.
We hear your cries about 'punctuality'.
You haven't paid enough to make this a reality.
Every one of our flights is delayed.
So, there's no reason to feel so betrayed.
Our planes are equipped with every amenity.
Snacks, drinks, leg room and more.
All are available if you have funds galore.
After all, dignity costs extra,
and comfort even more.
But if you don't care about that...
I suppose it's cheap to soar.
