a fox theriantrope would be a bit novel compared to cats and dogs, and foxes are actually in the process of being domesticated, liquid since it's the safest if longest lasting option sounds like we would need something like a mix of oxygenated water mixed with the mutagenic factors to let someone remain submerged within it and allowed to just sleep through the changes.

Here me out though. Shampoo, Maybe a few treatments of Shampoo but that kind of shower products would be an excellent vector if we can either do the transformation in stages or get it that quickly.

still needs to be fully submerged for the full effect, and the side effects from something like a shampoo might be having the transformation stop partway through or only affect some of their body instead of a full transformation.
having the transformation stop partway through could lead to cancerous growths, deformed or incomplete appendages that could be anything from a slight distraction, to a debilitating issue, or even straight up having the still human parts reject and necrotize the theriantrope parts or vice versa.

So for the first attempt a full transformation would likely be the safest attempt since there is little to no chance of the body rejecting the change when the entire body is being changed.

Shampoo as the first attempt would be insane. Only having some parts of the body get effected could be a bonus as selling cat ears instead of the full package could be attractive. Anything we do it's going to require work and testing but it would be a somewhat easier way to sell it rather then fully dropping someone into the tank.

Edit: I look forward to finding out if ingesting it is more efficient then skin contact. Maybe both of those aren't workable and it needs to be injected.

that's fair, although there are a few issues to overcome of the potentially becoming a messy and imprecise change.
first and the most easy way to solve it would be having a professional apply it, but we would have to keep it in house to ensure we don't get in legal trouble, or we would need a lot of time and funds to work out the kinks to having the change target only a certain part of the body once covering it and ignoring others, since i can bet there will be people that doesn't take proper precautions and would have unwanted changes happen and blame us for it.

i won't say it's not possible, but it's a possibility for sometime in the future if we decide to go down that way.

Two reasons for this: dog girl version of captian America and we can make transformation baths for easier mass deployment of the technology.


Edit: we might also be able to make the gel we put the mutagen in double as a means of fueling the transformation so it doesn't need to dip into the patient's fat or muscle mass unless we want it to or we are giving someone the captian America treatment in which case have them absolutely pig out for a few weeks before treatment to give them fat to turn into super powered muscle.

For the fluffiest of tails. Yeah, sure, we risk the creation of legit Kitsune, but I don't exactly think that is a problem, so...

What's the worst that can happen? If all else fails, we can just make ourselves stronger than the public model, right?
 
Voting is over, and the winners won by a landslide. I can't guarantee that I'll be able to make an update in a timely manner, but since the results have gotten pretty cut-and-dry by this point I figured I may as well do it now.
