    Hyrule Warriors Will Apparently Include Online And Offline Co-op Modes, Plus More Classic Characters

    Tumblr blogger What Is Twilight recently had the opportunity to play Hyrule Warriors at the Japan Expo which is taking place in Paris. One of the key bits of information gathered from a representative at the event is news that the game will feature both online and offline co-op modes. The representative also divulged that there will be more playable characters in the game who haven't yet been announced.

    The lady next to me confirmed to me two things:

    1. There will be both ONLINE and offline coop.
    2. Apparently, more classic characters are going to appear (she smiled when I asked if OoT chars were going to come but didn't answer me because she couldn't, interpret that however you want).
    3. By leveling up you character you'll unlock stuff? She couldn't really answer this either but I'm guessing weapons/heart/combos/cancels?

    First and most importantly Fi appears as a playable character.

    Second Ghirahim and The Imprisoned will appear as enemies.

    Third is that the Ball and Chain from Twilight Princess are appearing, but with the addition of Power Gloves or Titan's Mitt's to aid in wielding them.

    Fourth Zelda has a new weapon, which looks to be the Wind Waker itself.

    Last is that Link and Zelda are getting Skyward Sword costumes.

    The Scan is small, but it is the best I could find.

    I freakin' HATED her. I mean LOOK at her. Freakin' pointless sex-appeal laden magical girl OC we don't need in a celebration of everything awesome about Zelda. Probably some mary-sue spotlight hog shoveled in so desperate otaku have moar waifus to stroke their pathetic egos.

    I bet she'll actually be some sort of viewpoint character or watson that hangs around for characters to explain things to and by extension the player. Kind of an important niche to fill in a "Get everyone in here now!" crossover event.

    And now we have Fi. How does an anthropomorphic sword fight? WITH a sword or LIKE a sword?

    So who's next? Pitchfork-wielding Malon? Queen Ruto? I'm not even going to guess Nabooru; she's almost certainly in.

    For the love of GOD, let me play as Ganondorf.
    We've already got a non-Zelda original character there, they have to give me a chance to play as Ganondorf now.
     
    Ganondorf is always behind everything even when they pretend he's not.

    There's a TV Trope called "Hijacked By Ganon." for crissakes. Don't worry. He'll make his appearance.
     
    You really think they'd do one without the other? This is a freakin' Dynasty Warriors Spinoff!

    If Ganondorf where permanently a giant pig-man then it might be iffy, but ultimately he's just a dude.

    The main villainess has explicitly been revealed to be under the influence of another entity and you seriously think Ganon(dorf) will not be a part of the main plot...?
     
    That's a probable scenario.

    Actually, you'll probably need to do a lot more.

    I figured that since after Wind Waker there's no more Hyrule that also means no more Ganon for that continuity.

    And ofc OoT was the one that 'created' Ganondorf, so the games that predate it ofc won't gave him. (And I strongly suspsect that will continue being the case from that point onward).

    Oh and Majora's Mask since that was weird and nothing to do with Hyrule.

    No he isn't. Windfish and the.. well last three or four Zelda's he's not been mentioned at best Demise is behind HIM.

    Its really not always ganong and that's a good thing expands the roster and so forth and extends the conflict and circumstances.

    However Doctor Wily. . .
