Firstly, if you have questions about Good Seeds and the like please read here. If that doesn't answer your question please ping me in thread, or on Discord.
If you write a new Good Seed, or write an omake, please update the spreadsheet if you have access.
If you do not have access, please ping a collaborator (Swordomatic, Alectai, Quest, TehChron, Insane-Not-Crazy, Humbaba, ReaderOfFate, Kaboomatic, no., BungieONI) letting them know what you want and they will update the spreadsheet here. To gain access, you will need a gmail account of some kind. Throwaway emails are fine (I'm using one for the spreadsheet), but to gain access it's as simple as sending me either your email via PM, via DM in Discord, or just in Discord's #spreadsheet-requests channel.
This is mandatory. If a Good Seed does not record their omake by pinging collabs (or just requesting access and editing things themselves - this is the preferred option), I won't give out awards. If a new Good Seed is not recorded here, they won't advance. By doing this it makes the whole thing manageable for me - it's gotten pretty unwieldy!

Omake Writer Instructions:
There are four fields you need to fill out.
Omake Link, which is just a link to your first omake for the turn. This makes it easier for me to read them as I do the update - without this it's tough to know off the bat which omake were written this turn, and to properly
Requested Bonus, which is your requested bonus for your omake. You can leave it up to me if you like. You can see more info in the Good Seed infopost here.
Cultivation Aims. For those following unorthodox paths - higher than 9th Heavenstage or later than 7th Dao Pillar paths. Please put in what you are aiming for before you break through. I have left it as 'default'. If you do not edit it, I'll go with that.
Turn Notes - Do you want to do something specific? Enter a Secret Realm? Help the Clan out in some way? If you have something specific you want to accomplish on this turn, put it in turn notes so I can adjust your Fate around it.
All other fields are for QM use to record character information to properly run the flow of the game.
Yeah, I was worried this might be the case because a lot of my crit hinges around the idea that you're not totally at ease with the voice you've decided to use so there's room for the character to sound unnatural.
However, if your character just normally sounds like this it's a different story, obv.
I wonder if this kind of style can be used for showing a character's inner thoughts or some degree of multiple personalities. In the latter case, the lack of normalcy might even be a boon.
I mean, to a certain extent all first person writing is the character talking directly to the reader without allowing them room to reply. Giving the reader only half of a conversation either invites the reader to fill in the remaining half or gives the impression of overhearing a phone call and only having half the picture.
Like, back when Bluetooth was new, I remember being convinced that tons of people had gone insane because they were having these long and very reasonable conversations with ABSOLUTELY NO ONE and it just turned out they were on the phone. Room for misunderstanding and a bit of an uncomfortable feeling abounds.
lol. i'm not going to even bother voting in this case.
I still stand by the idea that throwing cash to make our vassals stronger at our expenses is a very bad idea. But since there's nothing i can do about it, back to focusing on my good seed

Ah I see. Actually, you are spot on. I did this thing where I wrote about my MC's parents first and that was the first thing I wrote thst was completely in their viewpoint.
Plus it was way in future and I wasn't sure what I'd roll when I first wrote it so I wasn't sure where my character actually stood do I was being vague. Then my character broke basically all of my expectations and I scrambled to edit go account for that. 😬
I only just got inside the character's head chronologically speaking.
I get that, and I feel that when the enemy intrigue advisor isn't distracted, it opens up another avenue of attack, but we're in dire straits. I'd gladly accept that scenario instead of what could happen if we don't have the backbone of our army ready.

Perhaps. I just feel that it's sowing the seeds of our own destruction because i believe in our Legions ability to deal with any Cores that come poking around since we have FE + Formations.
Pretty much moot at the moment anyway. Just that we might start cutting back on our income for the next few turns which means most of the funds from the next few turns are all going to this mercs instead of us
It was the little things that mattered. Like me, Paulus, five foot nothing trash from nowhere. I had no money, no arts, no adults looking out for me, and my only friends were similarly impoverished and weak. The perfect targets for Zaharias Romanallis and his band of brutes to beat on.
You could tell the difference between us just by hearing our names. He had two, I had one. His was long, mine was...well enough with that comparison. The point is that Zaharias (Zach to his friends, Meathead to his enemies) was the favoured son of the Romanallis, and the Romanallis were the interim overseer of our little slice of land ever since the last was killed by a stray firebolt.
That meant all they had to do was sit back and collect taxes until the next overseer would arrive to take over and give them a commendation for their 'service in a time of crisis'. And if they were to line their pockets with a little extra squeezed from the population? Why, the new overseer would just need to check the books and they'd find no discrepancies in the amounts recorded by the bookkeepers. Who are the bookkeepers you ask? Why our very own Romanallis clan of course. How do you think they became interim overseers?
The Romanallis had the city by the balls, and good old Meathead never missed a chance to take advantage.
I ducked another wild swing and skittered away from him, making sure to stay just far enough out of his range that he had to step forward to meet me.
"Stay still you worm!" he roared
Yea, not gonna happen.
He clomped after me, completely forgetting the steps of the Endless March in his anger. The technique was only a Mortal one, but it would have given his strikes enough force to knock me out in one go. Without it his uncoordinated haymakers were weakened enough that I could painfully block a few.
The strikes rattled me and flung me around the alley, and every one I let him land only increased his confidence and bloodlust. Right. Left. Right. Left. . He had an entire foot and almost a hundred and fifty pounds on me so I was damn well sure to feel these bruises in the morning. But the memory of the sound he made after I ducked the next right and his fist slammed right into the Beast Pillar made it all worth it.
"YA-HA-HAOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu" He howled. Meathead didn't slack on his physical cultivation, but the stuff they made Array Poles from was heavier than life.
His pain gave me the perfect opening to slam a leg directly into his family jewels and a follow up shove sent him right to the ground. By this time his cronies were way down at the other end of the alley, way too far away to stop this jerk from getting what was coming to him.
I clambered unto his chest and started swinging at his dumb face. Nose. Nose. Chin. Kneel on his left arm before he can grab his knife. Nose. Nose. Nose. Nose. Let him block with the right and grab his left hand. Twist thumb to make weapons hard to hold after I move.
I'd love to get a few more hits in but the goon squad is getting closer and Meathead is gonna throw me off soon anyway. I scramble to my feet and give him another solid kick between the legs before turning around and running. I'm way closer to the other end of the alley than we started and I'm able to zip around the corner before any of the goon squad gets a bright idea about using projectiles.
One of the sets of charging footsteps breaks off, probably stopped to check on Meathead instead of chasing me. How nice. They think they can catch me, and with their much longer legs they definitely can. But it's the little things that matter.
"Spiros!"
At my signal the big teen leans back and draws the rope taut across the mouth of the alley. Predictably the last two goons trip right over it, too intent on catching me to watch where they put their feet. They spill out into the road in a surprised tangle and in seconds the twins are on them screaming and swinging their little fists.
The two girls, Korina and Leto, are barely twelve and eleven respectively, but with me backing them up with some well placed kicks between the legs we're able to incapacitate the other two goons long enough for Spiros to waddle over and literally sit on them. After that it's a simple matter to tie them up with the rope and take their coin pouches.
What? I'm an underdog not a saint.
I dragged them out of the road so some beast carriage doesn't run over them at least. The last goon with Meathead doesn't come after us. With the rest of them tied up and the ringleader in pain, he doesn't have the courage to face us by himself.
Imagine being scared of a five foot tall seventeen year old, an overweight fifteen year old, and two kids. Trash. We didn't even have our full numbers. All in all a good encounter with the goons. I was the only one to get beat up this time, and if all went to plan this was the last time we'd have to deal with them. And on that note...
"Where's Filia?"
Spiros scratched his bare stomach and shrugged. "She said that we had this handled and went off. Something about packing up."
...Crap, she knew.
I tossed Spiros the coin pouches and he caught them with a practiced motion. "Hold on to these for me and meet me back at the place with the twins. I'm going to turn a few errands before it gets late."
He nodded and slipped the pouches into the folds of the massive cloth wrap holding up his pants.
I looked at him. He looked at me.
I turned around and walked off, and seconds later three steps of footsteps followed me.
I looked back at them.
"What are you doing?"
Spiros shrugged and crossed his hands across his bare chest.
"Running some errands." he said with a smile
I sighed. They all knew.
I stomped down the dirt road with the trail of ducklings shadowing my steps, no longer bothering to hide my destination. In ten minutes we were at the caravansary, just minutes before the noonday departure. Filia was there in her green robes, standing beside one of the loading zones with her pack slung over her shoulders. She had three similar ones by her feet, right beside the one I'd hidden here days ago in preparation. She had been watching the gate the whole time and her eyes locked on us straight away as we got inside.
Spiros waving didn't help.
"Fillia, no." I had to head this off at the pass.
"Leto found your note." Her voice was gentle, not at all like the accusatory tone I'd been dreading. Still I pushed on with gritted teeth.
"I know. I put it where she would find it. Your ride is with Shang Ding's caravan in the morning. It'll take you to the Sorrowful Blacksmiths where you'll be safe. Just like we'd planned."
"While you run off to join the Legions?"
"You've been gushing about them for years, boss." Spiros cut in from behind me, "Doesn't take a genius to figure out what all your training was about."
I bit down my reflexive response and forced myself to think. "Okay, yes, you got me. It doesn't change anything. There's enough cash to get the four of you to the Blacksmiths. I've trained and you haven't. I'll be fine in the Legions, and you wouldn't last a day."
"The trip to the recruiters is shorter, we can use the extra money to fund training." Filia countered.
"The trip is more dangerous," I fired back "We'll be going deeper into the desert, not further away."
"The caravan has guards for that" Spiros interjected, "and I still have that talisman in case of emergencies."
"You can't expect me to let you go into danger." I jabbed
"You can't stop us from paying our way." She deflected
"You're not coming."
"We are."
"Filia-"
A tiny form glomped into my side and I looked down to see Korina looking back at me, arms wrapped around mine. Leto joined her on the other side an instant later, grasping my other hand firmly.
"Paulus…"
"Don't leave us behind…"
The pincer attack was executed perfectly, and I felt my resolve wavering in an instant. I looked up to see if Filia had noticed my moment of weakness, desperate to shore up my defenses, but it was too late. She regarded me with one of her soft smiles, arms crossed across her chest in the way she did when she refused to be budged. A meaty hand rested on my shoulders and Spiros' voice rumbled out behind me with all the bass a mid puberty man could manage.
"Just give it up boss. We aren't going to let you go it alone."
I sighed and closed my eyes. The caravan would take a few days to get to the recruiting point, and it'd be who knew how long after that before the next sweep for recruits came in. There would be pills and elixirs available for mortal tier there and with enough time the gang could train up so they'd be safe when I left. I'd be able to visit them from time to time and keep an eye on them and with some help our little group might be cultivators in a few years too.
It was the little things that mattered.
Thought I'd try my hand at it, hope this makes sense in the world. Not sure how the statblock should be set up for a freshy just yet, ill edit that in once I know.
Stealing Oni's.

Thank you for the Gifts; especially the ribbons from the twins, I know they would have spent a long time working on them. Training it at The Dawn Fortress Continues to be challenging; however, my friends here support me no matter how difficult the day.
How about all of you? How are the twins? Is Enatos still trying to escape the house all the time? Has Achilles finally dragged Aristeidis out of the library? What about Steph pregnancy?
Please, you must tell me everything that has happened since your last letter.
As for me, I have started learning a martial art using two swords; Centurion Briána suggested it after a training session last week. I was a bit hesitant at first, and it is difficult to combine it with either bronze fit or the turtle Park however I am having a lot of fun with it I hope Konstantinos won't mind me not specialising in the technique he found for me.
Talking about him, I wonder if he will be surprised to know that Cassandra was the first of us to begin essence gathering. She broke through early yesterday morning and, between us, both Lemar and Fin are very jealous of her. I think they both believed it would either be them or Jamie first.
Speaking of Jamie I think she might try to kill Spyridon soon, his pranks have been getting more excessive, and the most recent one involved switching out all her training gear for flowery dresses. Why he thought that would be funny I have no idea.
Love you all,
Chrys.
Dear Rhea,
I hope you are well. I want to reassure you first that you do not need to worry about me. Yes, training is difficult, but I am enjoying it. I wish you had been able to come with me, I know you might find it silly, but I can't help but fear you're lonely back home.
Love
Chrys.
Dear Chrys,
You don't need to worry about myself; I've been keeping busy with you gone. Besides, it's not like I spent all my time with you. Our youngest siblings are still a handful, and with Steph's second child on the way Achilles is spending even more time with us.
Onto lighter topics, I think Aristeidis Might have a crush. I've spotted him sneaking out a few times in the afternoon when he typically reads in grandfather's library. I haven't had a chance to follow him, and I don't know no if anyone else has noticed, but it's an interesting new trend.
If it is a crush I hope it goes well, if nothing else she's able to get him away from those damn books he loves so much.
Love from your elder sister,
Rhea.
Dear Chrys,
Your previous letter had so many questions your father is worried you homesick, No I'm not, although I expect he's projecting a bit, you know how he gets. Chrys don't listen to her; I'm just a little just concerned.
To answer your questions the twins are well, although when they heard about your new Sword Art they both insisted that Raphail teach them that as well. They were so disappointed when he told that he only learnt the spear. Of course, your old man has learnt a few sword techniques from Emilia Yiayia. Yes, so they were overjoyed when your father offered to teach them some of what he knew. Once he got them to believe him that is. Hey, don't include that!
Enatos hasn't given up escaping at every opportunity, although now he calls it snake hunting. Luckily Achilles seems to have taken a shine to his uncle, more like he enjoys not being bossed around by the twins, and is spending a lot of his time looking after Enatos.
Aristeidis is the same as always as well, although not having little Achilles trying to drag him out of Albus' library seems to have improved his mood. Your father sums it up quite well, although I do worry about him wasting away in there.
As for your sister Steph, the baby is well on its way. I expect you will have a new niece or nephew by the time this letter reaches you. They have also finally decided on names, Longxing if he's a boy and Zhen if she is a girl Longzhen.
But guess what Chrys, your sister's dragon isn't the only new addition to our family. You're going to have another little sibling soo---------
Sorry about that, your father had promised to control himself, but you know how excited he gets. Still, yes, I'm pregnant again. And the way some of this family is acting you would think it was the first time. Raphail went stark white when we told him. Well, then he went red soon after. The boy blushes too much. You know that's because you teased him, really why are all my children more responsible than their father.
I don't think I need to include an update on Rhea as she insisted she would send her own letter. Raphail seems to be doing well, at the very least he likes teaching and has started tutoring some of the children around town as well as the twins. It's made him immensely popular. And I haven't seen Konstantinos since our last letter; the Clan has him quite busy patrolling, still don't worry about him being disappointed, we all knew that the Empty Palm of the Accending Turtle wasn't going to be your central art.
You must pass on my congratulations to Young Cassandra, to reach the 1st stage of Essence Gathering already is quite an achievement, and anyone else among your friends who progress before this letter reaches you.
That said don't let this discourage you, cultivation is a personal experience, not a competition. Well until the trials, then it's a competition with those damn fifth sea ba-----
Now on to your friend Spyridon, do try to reign him in if you can. But don't be afraid to ask for help from your superiors, it's not uncommon for the power to go to a new Essence Gather's head.
Make sure to write soon,
Love your Mother & Father.
Dear Chrys,
I hope you will forgive me for not writing more. However, I know Rhea and Mother write to you often. To preempt any suggestions otherwise, I'm not asking for your help; I simply feel like you should hear this from me first.
I've started to visit Chang Xiulan in the afternoons. You might not remember her; she is the daughter of Chang Chirstoforos, the spice merchant. I don't believe that anyone else in the family is aware that we are seeing each other yet; however, Xiulan wants to tell her father soon.
I know that no will oppose this, I think Mother might even be glad, I've seen the way she has been eying Rhea and me since Steph's pregnancy. I just worry they might push our relationship faster than I'm comfortable with.
Your brother,
Aristeidis.
Year 110
Dear Mother and Father,
I'm writing to you from Pleuron safe and sound; however, my journey here was rather eventful. As you are aware, I chose to follow part of the route taken by the refugees led by the Indomitable Thirteen rather than join a trade caravan. The first part of the journey was uneventful; however, as I got closer to PleuronI came across signs of bandits.
At first, I was confident the clan had hunted them down already as the signs were rather old so I figured, however, two days out from the city I stumbled across their camp. There weren't many, but a couple seemed to have reached the 1st Heavenstage like me, and their leader was in the 3rd Heavenstage. Remembering your advice, I tried to retreat to the city for backup; however, one of their scouts spotted me before I could get around them.
I spent the next night and day running towards the city, however around noon they caught up with me. I managed to keep them back for a while, even cutting down a couple of the weakest members, but their leader caught me off guard and shattered my swords.
Weaponless it seemed this was my end however I didn't give up, determined to at least take down as many of them as I could. Nevertheless, this was not to be my fate. A senior arrived to rescue me at the last moment.
Originally I figgered them to be a member of the Flood Dragon Gang or a wandering cultivator as they didn't seem to have the Blood of Bronze. Only my saviour was none other than The Great Xiao Yi, now calling himself Jin Muyi. He survived his legendary stand at Pleuron and has spent the last ten years rebuilding his body.
On our journey to the city, Senior Jin was willing to tell me a little of his experiences in return for news of the Clan. Although what I knew was likely of little help to Senior Jin, he was so polite and thankful. I know you both view Senior Ferenike as the greatest of the Thirteen; however, I'm unsure how she can be superior to Senior Jin after speaking with him.
He even gave me some advice, telling me that "Giving up is for lesser men" and that I showed great promise due to my perseverance.
Looking forward to seeing you all in another year,
Chrys

Some letters home. Finally getting to know the parents better as well as updates on the rest of the family. Still not sure if Rhea is going to have a happy ever after or not.
The events in the last letter tie into This chapter by @Mochinator for those curious.

Looking forward to seeing you all in another year,
It was nice to see Muyi from Chrys's POV. Pretty flattering as well to be treated as the greatest by him. It's a nice contrast i think, because in the Omake i did for Muyi, if it wasn't for Chry's perseverance Muyi would have likely given up and become full plant.
I've made a point of not reading Rina's omakes until I've read basically everyone else who isn't as popular (so, everyone) because it's not like you need more eyes on this, and also my general impression of you is eternally anxious and about to burn out so I don't want to add to your misery with my well-meaning but terrible commentary buuuut...
Ummm, someone needs to threadmark this omake? It's just beneath mine so it's weirding me out every time I see it.
