Welcome to Historical Civilization Quest, based on the Rhye's and Fall Mod for Sid Meier's Civilization 4 Beyond the sword. Here's the link to the forum if anyone's interested. NOTE THAT YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE EVEN PLAYED SID MEIER'S CIVILIZATION SERIES AT ALL TO TAKE PART IN AND ENJOY THIS QUEST. In this quest you shall be guiding various Civilizations through the course of history. First the stats.

Governing Body: You play as this person(s).
National Values: The systems by which your nation governs itself. Attempting to Change or go against these values will result in a major loss of stability, so be careful! Sometimes they will change on their own.
Great Projects: Examples include the Pyramids of Egypt, Hadrian's Walls, The Eiffel Tower, etc.
Great Works: Examples include the Works of Shakespeare, The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and Citizen Kane

Extra mechanics may be added or subtracted based on need.

Although this may seem like a grand strategy game it isn't. Sometimes failure will be fun as success and through it all my focus will be on telling an interesting narrative. With that in mind, expect to change to different nations often. Also, you can't use our modern knowledge of electricity, alphabets, and the like to give your current nation an unfair advantage. You can however, allocate resources to encourage the flourishing of unique innovations.

Sound good? Then vote on the first nation.
