Hiding From Unstable Spirits (Date a Live/Tsukihime)[SI](Spoilers)

Dunno but i think siccin' a prepared Fou on her might work?
Hard to say. Fou, by himself, is capital-D Dangerous by any Nasuverse oriented metric, but it's always hard to predict how metaphysical clashes will turn out when you don't have prior examples.

It's important to note that, in his current state, he's Fou, not Primate Murder. PM is what happens when he hangs around Humans and doesn't have a reason to throttle back his Sin, Comparison. Fou is still Beast IV, and could become PM, but he doesn't.

His Sin, the Evil of Humanity he embodies and the main theme behind his Beastly powers, is Comparison: envying those stronger than you and regretting your own weakness.

Lorewise, his main ability can be boiled down to "Become Bigger Fish". He is "the Beast who stands over any and all opponents", and grows stronger by feeding on the energy of competition and opposition. Basically Worm's Lung elevated to metaphysical levels; the more you fight Fou, or initiate competition in general nearby him, the more power he accumulates and the stronger he gets. The only way to actually defeat him is through non-violent means.

In-game, his power spread is somewhat peculiar. He seems to have some sort of control over local space-time; demonstrated when he teleported Ana out of Kingu's clutches in Babylonia, and when he formed timeloops later on to save Ritsuka from various hilarious and not-so-hilarious Valentines Day Bad Ends. He also has an aura, which most beings curiously can't sense, that basically advertises his status as a Thing Not To Be Fucked With.

Very unclear to me how these would stack up against Reine and Mio, especially since I don't know Date A Live very well, but Fou holds place as one of the Nasuverse's endgame bosses for a reason.

The sole act of Mio being 'born' caused a spacequake in euro Asia that killed about 150 million people, and she can alone beat up all the other Spirits and a whole army without much effort.
Then there are her three Angels, each more BS than the last:
Ain Soph Aur is basically a giant flower with Mayuri in it, that released particles of light that simply kill anything they touch and ignore magical shields, casually passing through them and kills anyone just y proximity if they're too weak.
Also can turn into Henet which turns the particles into an instadeath beam.
Ain Soph creates a huge tree under which range Mio can alter the laws of reality as she wants which is like a True Ancestor Marble Phantasm when I think about it. Can also turn the branches of the tree into blades.
Ain
covers the whole planet in a blinding light and allows her to simply erase whatever and whoever she wants.

Would Fou be immune to this thanks to his status as a Beast of Gaia even without the Will of the Planet being present? Hard to tell honestly, but Primate Murder would most likely murder Mio before she'd even get a chance to fight back.

I mean none of those ability's matter if she can't use them fast enough to make a difference

Respectable killcount. Basically Beast level from what I can infer, if you equivalize Spirits to Servants.
Then there are her three Angels, each more BS than the last:
Alright, let's take a look, and I'll compare them to base form Fou and hypothetical Primate Murder. Because a big part of Fou is that he will not allow himself to slip into PM form so long as he finds value in the Humanity that surrounds him. He'll flex his powers in dire situations, and drop his compunctions completely should everyone die, but mostly he'll be a ball of fluff that makes higher powers shit themselves.
Sounds hard to deal with. Unfortunately for Mio, that's covered by Fou's skillset. Independent Manifestation is a passive Beast-specific Skill that, at minimum, provides the holder absolute immunity to paradox, temporal, and insta-kill type attacks. We know Fou has it, because it can also allow the user to Rayshift on their own, and Fou's shown up in some pretty improbable places. So while Ain Soph Aur might damage Fou, it won't take him down instantly, which gives him time to rev up his Comparison factor. And given the sheer power differential, he'd probably laugh off the kill radius. Ditto Primate Murder.
Ain Soph creates a huge tree under which range Mio can alter the laws of reality as she wants which is like a True Ancestor Marble Phantasm when I think about it. Can also turn the branches of the tree into blades.
This one might actually let Mio put up a fight against Fou. Independent Manifestation prevents her from warping him out of existence(or even into another location should he resist hard enough), but it allows her to keep her distance and harry him should he go after her. Against Primate Murder it'd be more iffy. So long as she keeps defensive, he won't have enough power to mow through her alterations, but the moment she switches to fight mode she'll be feeding him the energy he needs.
Ain covers the whole planet in a blinding light and allows her to simply erase whatever and whoever she wants.
Again, Independent Manifestation prevents this from being used directly against Fou. I suppose if she really did have no options remaining and nothing holding her back, she could deprive him of his power source and footing via erasing the planet wholesale. But otherwise, not gonna work.

Final conclusion: Mio is of a very respectable weight class; but, sadly for her, half her powers just flat out don't work on the goddamn terrifying ball of fluff.

How strong is Al when compare to Arcueid? If he's anywhere near her at 100% of her power than he should be as strong and as hax as Mio.

He's 'just' a True Ancestor, a being above divine spirits but significantly below Arcueid, although he apparently has the potential to manifest the Millennium Castle given his dreams.

Which is terrifying, being a Brunestud means one approaches the power of The Crimson Moon, which also means he could be subsumed by it, he might even be more vulnerable to that than Arcueid if he becomes strong enough given that he's male.

Crimson Moon/Archetype Earth walking around would definitely throw a moon into anyone's plans.

EDIT: Although to clarify, the only requirement to be Brunestud and Manifest The Millennium Castle is sheer power and ability with the Marble Phantasm, all True Ancestors have a piece of The Crimson Moon in them.

So youre saying he could Road Roller DAH on his enemies but with a literal moon? I want. WAIT, he could technically freeze space as if freezing time given prep time right? And he's a vampire?
Edit: This is really fun though and Al being the friendly neighborhood vampire is quite a treat to see. These people are really lonely and could use a support other than Shidou. Shidou has it hard man. Looking forward to more.

Well, it wouldn't be Al, it'd be the part of him that is Crimson Moon + him wearing his body.

I'm not sure about the time and space thing, as far as I'm aware the actual abilities of Crimson Moon are still ill-defined beyond 'can pull the Moon from orbit' and 'only lost to Zelretch because he didn't know how magic works'.

He's a TYPE, the Ultimate One of the Moon, so a peer of the other ones from celestial bodies, great and terrible, the progenitor of all vampires.

Regardless, it may not be relevant to the story beyond an eventual possible fate, Arcueid is about 800 years old and was specifically made as a successor to Crimson Moon and was only just starting to succumb to him.

Fou actually wouldn't do super well against Miu because Miu isn't human and Fou is designed to kill humans. He is Literally The Best at killing humans and requires seven Counter Guardians (possibly the Grand Servants) working together to defeat at full power, but against anything that isn't human Fou is just a really powerful Phantasmal Species.

Don't get me wrong, he's still capable of taking down almost anything, but it's only against humans and human-related things that Fou can wield the power of Beast IV.

Miu, being the result of gathering literally the entire World's mana in a single place, is effectively Gaia embodied, and thus should be capable of defeating Fou. In fact, in a sense, Miu is the Type Earth of this universe, and her capabilities are certainly on the kind of scale employed by Types.

CM if Al would somehow allow himself to be taken over, however, he can't become the Archetype Earth of DaL as long as the planet has no will of its own and doesnt appoint Al as its Ultimate-One.
But if you poke the sleeping bear long enough then maybe...

Which is actually pretty interesting now that I think about it, and these might be a mere speculation of mine but won't Fou focus a different type of skill-sets and attributes depending on their form and they bond with?

I mean while Merlin tends to bite his tongue in long chants and all, the guy is still a bonafide powerful magical being that Fou could grudgingly observe and learn how to to turn the local reality into whatever Fou wants to do and while Altrogue is a vamp and has a huge repertoitre in magecraft especially in contracts and all that jazz, she kinda let Fou loose as PM to be her proverbial muscle and deterent.
Which makes an interesting take that there are technically three creatures right now in their place who can vie for the seat of Ultimate One...

Mio: an uber spiritual creature made by forcing the all or majority(dunno 'bout this) equivalent of magical energy of the planet into a singular point and punched a whole in another dimension that 'made' her in the resulting phenomena.

Fou/Cath Palug: THE Merlin's familiar that cis actually the most efficient killer of mankind the planet ever produced and when unleashed as Primate Murder can only be taken down/knocked out (in theory I think) if all Seven Grand is around or Alaya(subconcious of mankind or smthing) throws CG to the guy. Though I don't know if Fou would want to be an Ultimate One..

Al/Alaya: A human mind slapped inside a True Ancestors shell/body, knowledgable in Nasu fu and depending what age Al's body is, the more dangerous he is unleashed especially their bloodlust became uncontrollable enough. Can only play with basic magecraft but heavily abuses the ability Marble Phantasm to recreate powerful moves he knows from various media... though I dunno if he would like to be an Ultimate One...

Nah, Ultimate Ones are special, they are The Apex of life on a given planet. Fou isn't even a match for an Ultimate One in full Primate Murder form, and Alaya is only a True Ancestor; a potential vessel for Crimson Moon, the Ultimate One of the Moon, but not even close to an Ultimate One in and of himself. It'll take centuries if not millennia of growth at least before he's even able to be a vessel for Crimson Moon, much less an Ultimate One personally.

Mio on the other hand is effectively the embodiment of this World, which makes her the Ultimate One of said world by default, and there's nothing even close to her overall raw power on this Earth that could realistically challenge her for that position.

Not that Alaya couldn't potentially defeat her; Zelretch brought down Crimson Moon despite being categorically weaker than it in pure power terms, but much like Zelretch's defeat of Crimson Moon defeating Mio would be an act of trickery or skill, not power, and thus would not qualify Alaya for Ultimate One status.

(To give you an idea, ORT is considered to exist on approximately the same tier of 'ability to kill humans' as Primate Murder, a Beast of Gaia that was literally made to kill humans. That is how bullshit Ultimate Ones are.)

Hmm, Arcueid can become Archytpe-Earth and she too could be just considered a vessel for CM.
It's Gaia that allows her to become an Ultimate One of the Earth, so since the will of the planet of DaL is nonexistent as of yet does that really make Mio an Ultimate One? Or simply a powerful being born out its mana, as Mio needs to actively use her Angels to affect humans and the world at large.
If my reasoning is correct that is...

Omake: Are You My Master? II
So, this has been sitting and collecting dust for like a week or more, so why not release it now and see how people will react to it? And yeah, it does paint Al here as totally overpowered but that's because he's in the Nasuverse now and receiving active-backup from Gaia, I might have also misinterpreted how invulnerable TA are during a full moon, but anyway, give your honest opinions about this small Omake.

XXXXXXXXX

"So, care to explain how the boy summoned the two of you?" The man clad in blue asked as his red eyes narrowed at the pair of 'Servants' that came out of the shed to face him.

Shirou could clearly see the reaction of the two figures.

The woman said nothing, her face stoic and her posture poised for combat as she held her invisible weapon with both hands, her eyes focused on the Lancer in front of her but she occasionally looked to her supposed ally.

The man, however, wore a smile and his posture was relaxed and confident, with his hands inside the coat's pockets. He looked at the Lancer before he ignored him and focused on the glowing moon in the sky.

"So this is how..." Shirou barely heard the man quietly whisper as he shook his head and his focus returned on the warrior in front of them.

He then outstretched his arm to his side and the air in the garden became noticeably colder causing Shirou to shiver, as he got up and stood in the frame of the door when ice started to form beneath the red-dressed man's hand into the distinctive shape of a sword.

The ice made blade was over half the height of the man and seemed western in style, its crossguard was thick and directed slightly towards the edge and the grip was large enough for him to grasp it with two hands.

Then Shirou heard a gasp from the short woman when she saw the cold blade that the man held, to which he simply responded with a small chuckle.

"Fou, could you please keep an eye on our little Master there?" The man asked the small animal on his shoulder.

"Fou." The animal answered and jumped down to approach Shirou and climbed onto the boy's shoulder.

If Shirou wasn't in mortal danger, he'd most likely try and cuddle the cute critter.

"Are you done getting ready?" Lancer asked, annoyed and cleared the blood off his lips and aimed his spear at the red-clad man. "I have to pay you bastard back for that cheap shot."

The man simply looked towards his short companion and nodded his head with a smirk that she returned with a nod of her own and the both of them tensed.

Then they shot out with speed and strength that caused the earth beneath them to shatter as they flew towards their opponent only for the man to suddenly disappear from Shirou's sight as the woman reached Lancer and they exchanged blows as her invisible weapon met his red spear, their attacks creating shockwaves and sparks and then Shirou saw that Lancer was pushed back a few meters by the woman's superior strength.

Then from his side, the man in red appeared out of thin air, but his blade was blocked by Lancer's spear, the blow however was so heavy that it sent the blue-clad warrior into the wall of the Emiya compound.

Lancer coughed as he freed himself from the wall and glared at the pair of fighters.

"What kind of Servant disappears into nothing and hits like this? Did the boy summon two Servants of different classes?!" The man yelled as he questioned his situation. "The girl is obviously a Saber even if she hides her weapon, but just who are you?!

The man in red smiled and pointed his weapon at Lancer.

"I'm Saber, duh?" He said cheekily before looking at his companion. "And she's Baeber, not Saber."

"Do NOT call me that!" The woman shouted at him with clear annoyance.

"Nah, get used to it your Majesty," Shirou saw how the woman froze at the words of the man who was now focusing on Lancer. "Well, Mario I'm sorry to say it, but the princess is in another castle, so how about you just run for it while you can?"

"Bastard, you're mocking me aren't you?" Lancer growled as he held his spear above his head with the tip directed at the ground as he assumed a stance and Shirou felt the pure bloodlust radiating from the weapon. "I will at least take you down!"

"Please, that weapon can't hurt me... and do you want to know why Lancer?" The man said as he steps forward.

"Enlighten me if you could." Lancer responded.

"It is because, I am neither your best friend nor your son, Cu Chulainn." As soon as the words left the self-proclaimed Saber's mouth Lancer launched himself with an unbridled fury at him. "Besides, I'm not scared of Leprechauns."

"I'LL HAVE YOUR HEART!" He yelled out before thrusting with his spear that was bursting with power and bloodlust.

"Gáe Bolg!"

Shirou couldn't even see it, and 'Baeber' tried to react but she too was too slow as Gáe Bolg: Barbed Spear that Pierces with Death reached the chest of 'Saber' and pierced it.

...

Or that is what should have happened, instead, the tip of the spear harmlessly pressed against 'Sabers' chest much to the confusion of everyone present.

"How... how did you do that, you bastard!" Yelled out Lancer as he stared confused at the scene before him.

"Fuck you that's how." 'Saber' cheekily answered before he swung his fist, hitting Lancer in the head and sending him flying towards the wall.

Again.

"Wow, so that's what E rank Luck looks like." The young man quietly muttered under his breath as he saw Lancer flying above the ground.

Lancer, however, recovered mid-flight and by launching himself off the ground with his spear he managed to land on top of the wall and glared hatefully at the red wearing man who simply clapped at this display.

"You, you resisted my Noble Phantasm! And you knew my identity from the start! Just what kind of servant are you?!" Lancer shouted in anger as he looked down on 'Saber'.

"The most awesome one here, now go away before I think of finishing you off." 'Saber' said casually with a grin plastered on his face. "But here's a bit of small advice since you're probably the best guy in this whole mess if you meet Assasin don't bother running after him, just throw your spear at him."

"Tsk, you're a weird bastard. My cowardly Master has ordered me to withdraw anyway so I'm taking you up on that offer and leaving." Said Lancer as he turned around and with one jump he disappeared into the night.

"Why did you just let him go?" Asked 'Baeber' as she glared at 'Saber' with anger in her voice.

"You are free to follow him, but will you leave our Master with me and the other Servant that's running towards us?" He asked her dismissively not expecting an answer, and Shirou's blood went ice cold.

A-Another one of these 'Servants'?

"Shall we greet them properly, your Majesty?" He asked again with a smile on his face.

Meanwhile, an Archer that's currently holding his own Master as he runs towards the place he once called home during his life suddenly felt a cold shiver running down his spine.

It's time for an enthusiastic moonlit walk...

Dude your jumping into a specific conclusion already, I am pointing out that all three of them can be seen as possible candidates to the position in which can be only annointed by havinga 'Gaia' which from the author said they don't have... yet.

Arc-Type Earth existed so it's possible for Al, I dunno about other Ultimate Ones but they seems to be an equivalent of Nature Spirits to me or something like Mio but have no other dimensional origins but aside from those as I said, there are three candidates running right now.

In the recent omake in the other hand...

Mario has left the premise, Baeber is highly confused and... RUN! HIDE! Rin and her Servant Actually Satan is comming!!!
*cough*

Also @Caldon some TYPO's:

and then Shirou saw that Lancer was pushed back a few meters by the woman's superior strength.
"Please, that weapon can't hurt me... and do you want to know why Lancer?" The man said as he steps forward.

Without a proper Gaia, you're right that Mio is not technically an Ultimate One. She is, however, the closest thing to being an Ultimate One of Earth that exists in the setting and given the bullshit level of her Angels she could probably go toe to toe with a real Ultimate One on roughly equal terms, in so far as any Ultimate One can be considered 'equal' to anything.

So, this has been sitting and collecting dust for like a week or more, so why not release it now and see how people will react to it? You didn't; True Ancestors are 100% invulnerable during a full moon, they have no Lines of Death and mimic the nature of the Ultimate One they were made in the image of; Crimson Moon.

All Ultimate Ones have one thing in common; they lack any concept of Death. The only way to kill an Ultimate One is to force the concept of Death onto them via conceptual weaponry like the Black Barrel. True Ancestors under a full moon are the same; no concept of Death, and no matter what you do to something that lacks a concept of Death it will not die.

This makes me curious, because when Al arrived in Tengu city it was also a full moon. Maybe the full moon has something to do with the third party chucking him into things?

A few Typos that I noticed:

The 'this' should probably be replaced by 'that'

"I have to pay you bastard back for that cheap shot."
" I have to pay that bastard back for that cheap shot."
OR
"I have to pay you back for that cheap shot"

the blow however was so heavy it sent the blue-clad warrior
the blow however was so heavy that it sent the blue-clad

that is now focusing on Lancer.
who was now focusing on Lancer. (I just think it would flow better).

"Besides, I'm not scared of Lepricons."
"Besides, I'm not scared of Leprechauns"

This part has been repeated twice at the end.

P.S.: This is my first time pointing out the something like this so I might have done something wrong or might have missed something.

It is narratively and thematically appropriate for a True Ancestor's arrival to be heralded by the full moon.

Aye, that's quite the terrifying possibility for Al, becoming taken over by 'daddy'.
However, CM can't take over Arcueid unless she stops thinking of herself as 'Arcueid' from what I know, and wouldn't CM get an actual aneurysm trying to take over Al since Al has a human origin and CM is an Ultimate-One?

The impression I got regarding being taken over is that it's something Arcueid can't just resist, hence going to sleep in her castle to stave it off.

By her nature, even more than othe True Ancestors, she IS CM to a degree, all of them are and becoming him is sort of like a maturation process or wake up sequence.

She would stop thinking of herself as Arcueid because more of herself is CM.
She would still be there in a sense, but as an addition to CM.

CM if Al would somehow allow himself to be taken over, however, he can't become the Archetype Earth of DaL as long as the planet has no will of its own and doesnt appoint Al as its Ultimate-One.
But if you poke the sleeping bear long enough then maybe...

CM is still the UO of the moon, he only wanted to have a new body to get around his incompatibility with Gaia's reality.

So...maybe? If an UO needs to be in the same dimension as it's planet is something I don't know.

But still, that's something centuries away unless he gets some kind of crazy mainline of planet energy and authority which I don't know if its possible here.

The impression I got regarding being taken over is that it's something Arcueid can't just resist, hence going to sleep in her castle to stave it off.
Isn't that about her bloodlust though? She's sleeping in the castle because she can't hold it back.
And if Arc would stay in her chains then she would give up her name in time and CM could use her as a vessel.
This is my understanding that I got from this:
